I love Pagan Idol! The ambiance is off the charts and their drinks are really fun. They also make tasty and cute mocktails. I love the rainstorms, the little cabanas that feel private and cozy, and the space - this place is huge! There are lots of hidey holes. I used to work next door, so it was great spot to meet friends or colleagues after work. I have never been on a weekend evening, so I'm not sure how busy Pagan Idol gets during peak times, but the location is perfect for a vibey post-work moment in FiDi.

My favorite tiki bar in the financial district. Interior 5/5:Cool nautical theme on the entrance room. It's less noisy than the main. Both rooms have their own bar. The main room is more spacious but noisier. They have cool mist , smoke sound system that create the rainforest vibes. If you can try to snag a private bungalow hut- It can seat 5 ppl very comfy and maybe 8 but tight. It helps with the noise and more intimate. Drinks 4/5Prices from 15-18$ for single cocktails. $38+ for shared group ones. Some have a fire show for it and they queue the music and sound when it's delivered to you. Service 3.5. Not enough staff. Only two bartenders while a large line is forming. The drinks aren't simple so it increases the wait time.

Amazing Tiki Bar and drink selection. Their ambiance was worth the trip alone. They have one bar in the front and if you keep walking up a small flight of stairs there is a second bar with a massive and beautiful fountain sitting area. The bar service and staff were very attentive and made great recommendations for my friends of what drinks to get.I will definitely add this to my regular tiki bar stops in future trips to the Bay area.

The place was cute. I liked the maps on some of the tables and the porthole 'windows' with the dolphins swimming by. The drinks were good. Got the Tom-Kha Lada.

This is now my favorite bar in SF. The decor inside was very cool. It looked like the inside of a ship. We came on a Saturday night, and while it was busy it wasn't too crowded. There aren't food options, but we got the Scorpion Bowl which was a nicely decorated big drink.

My friends and I stumbled upon this bar and didn't even know it was a tiki bar until we saw all the decor on the inside. The vibes of this place would definitely take you to the set of the pirates of the Caribbean. The drinks were also delicious. There was such variety and so many items to choose from. Everything from festive fruit flavored cocktails to the classics they pretty much had it all here. We got the scorpion bowl and the banana life. The banana life was an individual drink that was creamy yet aromatic and had a large banana fragrance and taste. Excellent. The scorpion bowl is similar to a fish bowl. It's a cocktail meant for 4 people and was honestly a banger for us all. Tasted great without being too strong.

Pagan Idol is officially one of my favorite Tiki Bars to visit and the one I appreciate the most in terms of seating. Every Tiki Bar I have visited so far are so small and limited to seating. That is not a problem at Pagan Idol. Summary: Drinks: 9/10Service: 8/10Ambiance: 10/10 Parking: 7/10 What we ordered: Fassionola Bowl - 9/10 Tropical Typhoon - 8/10 You are definitely paying for the experience and vibes out here so do not expect your tab to be cheap! The girlies and I ordered a bowl that served 4-8 people and it was PERFECT.DRINKS: 9/10The bowls are so fun to share and you definitely get a show as well! We ordered the Fassionola Bowl, suggested by the bartender. I really love that the drinks actually have tastable fruity flavors rather than just straight hard liquor. The drinks are definitely decorated with a tropical aesthetic and I love how they have such a specific detailed bowl or cup for each drink. The drinks come with HUGE glow in the dark straws so everyone doesn't have to keep reaching over and be in eachothers way when taking a sip of the bowl. So clever.SERVICE: 8/10Bartender did a good 1 minute flame experience for our drink which was cool regardless if it come with the order in general. I appreciated him giving us suggestions as we were so indecisive. LOL he suggested the Fassionola Bowl and for a second, I thought it was called the Fashion Nova bowl and thought he was being sarcastic lol. No, that was a me problem! hahaha. AMBIANCE: 10/10It is such a cute Tiki bar for sure. This place is all in the details. From the real life aquariums, the thematic windows with fake dolphins swimming in the background, the bar, the seating, the lights, the exotic plants, etc. There is a mixture of bar stool seating, bar seating, and booths all the way in the back of the tiki bar which makes it seem like you are in a cave.PARKING: 7/10Considering it was a Friday night, there was actually a lot of parking. HEADS UP, you can park on the yellow zone spots that are near!! I think it helps that pagan idol isn't on the main street of the financial district. BUT, you should uber or take public transportation in general....

My husband LOVES Tiki Bars and tries to search for them in every city we visit. He's had the San Francisco spots bookmarked for a while and Pagan Idol was at the top of his list.We stopped in after going to an early evening event and arrived right before they started getting busy. We immediately went to the bar and asked about their drinks and asked the bartender what their favorite was. The menu was really fun and they had a great variety of drinks to choose from. We opted for two of the bartender's recommendations from the front bar and then went to the back bar to explore.I took a bunch of photos and some videos as well, the space doesn't have as many small items and decorations as some of the Tiki bars we've been to, but what they had was well thought out. We enjoyed the special lighting and audio aspects that happen occasionally and they had some different seating options. We sat in a cute booth in the back for a bit, but it got really hot and stuffy so we moved to a small table instead. We ended up purchasing another round of drinks from the bar in the back and they weren't as interested in creating surprise drinks. We knew we'd like everything, so we just chose some from the menu that stood out to us. Luckily, the whole time we were there it wasn't busy but as we were leaving there was a group of people heading in.All the drinks we tried were delicious and we had a nice time. It wasn't my favorite Tiki bar experience, but I'm glad we checked it off the list.
