Pizza by the slice? In Chinatown? Count me in.Granny Slices section (thick and crispy squares) section, I ordered the Peking Duck (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&start=0&select=10wvtA7lD7QUJ5B58O9D3Q), to try there; it's description is 5 spice duck, hoisin, mozzarella, chili oil. But there's more including fried onion strings, cilantro, and fried garlic, I believe. Later that night, I had a slice of the Buddha's Delight (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&start=0&select=RXBYEgA0SJCae2wkJ9VFVg) from the thin slice menu; it reads marinara, plant vegan cheddar, prime roots vegan salame, bell pepper, mushroom, onion, olive, pesto, * vegan!!! Now this surprised me and in a good way. The salame had me questioning whether it was indeed vegan. It tasted like pepperoni. I also had the Loco Moco Mushroom (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&start=0&select=jqF2LGejLKw_OOFBW_2iag); this reads mozzarella, cremini, shiitake, scallions, loco moco gravy, dry jack. Again, I didn't miss the meat as the heartiness of the mushrooms paired well with the delicious brown gravy. A couple days later, I had the sausage, onions, and mushroom slice (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&start=0&select=nqJl587x-pf_DmQewu_N4g) for breakfast and it struck me as just okay, likely because of the impressiveness of the other three flavors I tried. I will try the other flavors before having this again.Rachel greeted me and took my order while Austin heated my dine-in slice. He and Ruthie packed my three thin slices in a box to take home. Thank you, Outta Sight, for giving me this opportunity to try your food. I look forward to returning for more. This compares favorably to that Vallejo Street pie slice staple.*** Please bear in mind that the owners came from the kitchen if that Michelin place three blocks away. They got that duck down.

Peking Duck pizza?! This is a granny slice - they'll warm up and this produces a slightly charred and crispy slice. No-frills, counter-service with pizza display case. Kinda fast-paced-- people grab their slices and head out- limited SRO spots for dine in.

Have some unique flavor options as well as thin or pan pizza. I had the Vanna White and the pineapple jalapeño pizza. The slices are heated in the oven and finished off with fresh Parmesan. These steps make the wait time longer than you expect. There were five people in front of me and it took about 30 minutes to get my pizza. I enjoyed both slices of pizza I had but wasn't worth that long of a wait. Staff were nice but shied away from giving me any recommendations when asked and basically said everything is good which really isn't helpful. The slices aren't that big and I could easily eat three without any issue.

4.5 STARSCorn cheese, peking duck, and loco moco pizza - HELL YAS!Last month, two Mister Jui's alums (Michelin star) opened their second Outta Sight Pizza location in Chinatown (original in the TL). Infatuation named them one of the Top 21 Pizza Shops in America. Mainly a takeout spot (no seating). Delivery available. Arrived at 12 pm on a weekday (closed on weekends) and there were about 5-6 people ahead in line. From ordering to pizza in hand, it took close to 30 minutes.M E N UGranny slices ($7.50-$8) and NY-Style slices ($5.25-$6.50). Whole pizzas available. Vegan friendly. No wings or subs yet. Self-serve water and bottled drinks available. F O O D* Granny Slice - Peking Duck ($8 x2): https://tinyurl.com/4eexpjrh- Not available at TL locationAn ode to Chinatown, this legit tastes like Beijing peking duck bao in pizza form, the thiccc focaccia-like base is airy and springy with a good chew. It's topped with cheese, rich + savory morsels of duck, drizzle of sweet hoisin, fried shallots, and fresh cilantro. A wee bit too much hoisin so I wanted something acidic or spicy to offset the sweetness but otherwise it was so delicious. Added a side of the Sichuan hot honey (+$2) which was missing that málà warming spice. More heat, please!* NY-Style Slice: ABP - Portuguese Sausage, Pineapple, Jalapeño ($6): https://tinyurl.com/ye5cvredTheir NY-style slice has a crispy-crackly crust, foldable with a good chew and ratio of ingredients. The sweet heat from the fresh pineapple and jalapenos perfectly complemented the savory morsels of housemade Portuguese sausage. I used to hate pineapple on pizza but Che Fico turned me onto pineapple on pizza and now I really enjoy it...as long as it's fresh and thinly sliced. * NY-Style Slice: Pepperoni ($6)Not my mine but dining companion really enjoyed the cupping pepperoni slice. Room for Improvement: Since the granny and NY-style slices are warmed up at the same time, the granny slice wasn't as warm. Had the same issue at their TL location. S E R V I C EFriendly.A M B I A N C ECompact space, smaller than their TL location. There's a couple of standing tables BUT it gets crowded inside so recommend taking it to go and walking 1/2 block up to Portsmouth Square or 1/2 block down to the Transamerica Building to grub. 90s hip hop playlist. P A R K I N GPortsmouth Square Garage is 1/2 block away. Overall, Outta Sight Pizza II is a great addition to The Chinatown/FIDi area. IMO, they're one of the two top shops in the city for NY-style slices (The Pizza Shop in The Mission is my other fav). When they extend their hours, this would be a great place to hit up for the drunchies after HH!

Small slice house with a few tables/seats. Clean, fast, and convenient! Really excited to have this place open in FiDi/Chinatown. Stopped by on my way home to grab their more inventive flavors: Peking Duck and Corn Cheese. Both super tasty and reheated perfectly!

Very bare bones looking pizza joint. No seats/stools, just some standing counters on the side (if you can push aside the non-eater just waiting around blocking your way). The menu is creative, though a bit hit-or-miss.Peking Duck Granny: Wow, this was so unique and so delicious! Lots of pulled duck bits, like duck confit consistency. And lots of sweet salty hoisin squirted on top with some fresh cilantro for good measure. No crispy duck skin, but the crispy cheese on the edges add a nice texture. I've had a lot of pizza, but never anything like this!Corn Cheese Granny: Very cheesy, with nice crispy bits on the side. It's not Detroit Style in that it has a wall of cheese on the edges, but there's definitely a little extra on the edge. The corn and garlic was nice. Didn't even miss that there was no tomato sauce.Butter Chicken Granny: I really love that there's tikka masala sauce cooked on the pizza and then fresh cilantro mint chutney is drizzled on top right before serving. I'm a big fan of saucy pizzas and just love all the flavors. The chicken cubes themselves were a little generic, so thankfully the sauces were all over.Madonna Thin: Apparently this is their take on a Margherita pizza. I was hoping for some sort of pun such as drizzled with Like A Virgin Olive Oil, but alas both the description and the pizza are a bit bland. There were big dough bubbles which meant big pockets without sauce or cheese, since it probably slide off to the side. So felt kinda dry.Double Dragon Thin: Way better than the Mundane Madonna. It's saucier since it's got a spicy red sauce and some pesto. It's actually perfect for me since I generally don't like white pizza due to lack of tomatoes, even though the other flavors of on white pizza is nice. No special toppings, but still tasted amazing.APB Thin: Usually opposed to pineapple on pizza, but it worked nicely with the chilis and sausage. The Portuguese ground sausage didn't have the distinctive fennel found in many Italian sausages.

So happy to see this pizza shop expanding. It is one of my favorite New York Pizza style shops in the Bay. The dough has a really nice crispness and is not over burnt or overly doughy. The slices had a tomato forward flavor that was well balanced but not overpowered by the cheese, just how I like it. I will definitely return for both the Madonna, a typical slice, and the Double Dragon which adds some additional emphasis on basil through the pesto. The fresh basil leaves on top are always a welcome addition.Even a couple days after opening, they have already pre-prepped enough pizza to handle the rush.

Walked up to Chinatown from Market for lunch and did a double take seeing Outta Sight. Had I erred and wandered to the Tenderloin?!? Turns out this is a second location of the Outta Sight Pizza on Larkin St and it just opened yesterday, January 15th. While there is no seating at this location, a long L-shaped counter allows for up to maybe a dozen stand-and-eat slice-wielders if crammed tight. The menu here is entirely different than the original location, with slices running $5.25 to $6.00 and squares $6.50 to $8.00. Despite wolfing a bowl of noodles at Sam Wo a few blocks away, curiosity got the better of me in the form of two slices:Slice 1: APB (Portuguese sausage, pineapple, jalapeño):Described by the lady working the counter as an ode to friends in Hawaii, this slice came out hot just as the slices at OG OSP. Overall, a well balanced slice, with neither the pineapple nor jalapeño overbearing.Slice 2: Butter Chicken, Detroit style: Pretty good, though for me, the base could've been a little more brittle and the dough beneath the toppings could've been a little thinner. Still, I appreciated the generous portion of chicken and sauce. The edges were satisfyingly crispy and crunchy. Both finished with grated parm.

One of the best pizzas in the city. The slices are big, thin, and not oily, with fresh toppings like basil and grated cheese on top. The texture contrast is on point. It's very crispy at the bottom, which compliments the soft top. It is excellent to eat when folded. This will definitely be my go-to spot for pizza in SF. I think the service here is slightly better vs the Larkin St location. And the ambiance is nicer here if you like newer locations. But the nicknacks/tchotchke aren't as numerous vs. Larkin St., But I prefer this Clay St location because it's in a friendlier and more walkable area. I can't wait for the expanded hours here!

I have to admit I was super excited about this pizza and it definitely delivered. I got two slices and got to try two others were really tasty. The double dragon was a pesto and regular red sauce. Good amount of cheese balanced ratio would recommend. The next I got was the butter chicken, which is sort of like an Indian chicken on top of a thick crust pizza with I think Pioneer. Tasty but might not be everyone's cup of tea. But I tried was the corn pizza which had a sort of garlic cream sauce on it the slim slice a friend gave me was perfect. I would imagine getting a whole slice. Might be a little overwhelming at least for me. Last thing I got was the Peking duck and again that was super tasty, but I can't see how having a whole slice of it might be a little overwhelming. Overall amazing experience.
