This is our neighborhood spot! The shawerma is excellent. Hummus is super fresh. The sandwiches are very good as well, love the Frisco Club.What really has me writing this review is the community vibe. I left the cafe without my pita, and didn't notice. I walked a block or so towards my house and a random car pulled up behind me. It was a good Samaritan that had my pita!Going above and beyond like that is what customer service is all about. Having customers who are loyal enough to go out of their way like that means you're doing something right!

Stopped by on a Monday night around 6 PM for some dinner. I was craving some mediterranean so I decided to come here and realized that they have a pretty extensive menu with a ton of sandwich options too!Service was great and around the time I went, there was plenty of seating inside. It wasn't too busy but there were definitely regulars coming in n out to pick up orders while I was there. It was nice to see those kinds of friendly interactions! I ordered a gyro/tzatziki wrap and got some chili spread on the side. My friend ordered a chicken parmesan sandwich. The chicken parm sandwich was okay. It came with a nice salad on the side but the sandwich itself lacked some flavor. It was hot and pretty filling, but wasn't the best. The gyro wrap was great. It had a perfect amount of sauce, was flavorful, satiating, and everything I was craving. There was a good vegetable to meat ratio and just tasted bright and delicious. To finish my meal, I also bought one of the red velvet cookies they were selling in the display cases by the cash register. It was pretty massive and while it wasn't the best cookie in the world, it was still pretty good and tasted great. I definitely want to come here again the next time I'm in SF. Although I really enjoyed the mediterranean options here, I also am a big sandwich enthusiast so I want to try a sandwich during my next visit.

Busy cafe! They had so many orders come in. Great sign. First time eating here. They still served everything on a Togo box. Had the noisce salad with salmon. Salmon was ON POINT! Crunchy skin, a bit of oil. Fresh and warm. Salad dressing was interesting. It was a Cesar with a vinegarette. Appreciate they leave the dressing separately. Food doesn't taste Mediterranean enough. Not enough spices or olive oil. However I will be back :) thanks!

I ordered the chicken Shawarma plate $13.99. It came with salad and rice. Yesterday I had the Opa salad which was also good but I like this better. I knocked one star off because several of the tables were empty but needed wiping.

Food is amazingly delicious. It's so fresh and so flavorful every thing that I tried. Super well seasoned, no skimping on the flavor. Service is excellent!! Really super sweet, nice, beautiful owner...and yes, it's woman owned. They have such a large variety on their menu. I am going to be coming back here time and time again. Highly super recommend this place. I know it's good because they had customers coming in ordering multiple catering orders. It look like one guy came in and picked up like 10 bags of food. There was also a catering order sitting on the table waiting to be picked up people were coming in before me , and after me. This must be a popping spot. I can't say enough of how good the food is. As well, the owner, let me know that they grind their own meat for their burgers. They don't buy pre- ground beef or lamb. They also have a large section of imported beverages .

I picked up takeout from here and ordered the rotisserie chicken hot plate and the new Cubano sandwich. The rotisserie chicken was pretty standard, with a good amount of flavor and decent-sized portions of meat, which I appreciated.As for the Cubano sandwich, I could mostly taste the ham, but I enjoyed the crispy bread, and it paired well with the cheese and mustard. Overall, it was a decent meal, though nothing particularly special.

Opa Cafe is a friendly, bodega-like restaurant offering a menu of deli sandwiches and Mediterranean-inspired wraps, plates, and salads. Everything was prepared fresh and came at a great value--the Opa Salad was made of shredded cabbage, bell peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes, red onions, parsley, and citrus vinaigrette. The Mezza Salad also included feta cheese, pita, two dolmas, two falafels, and hummus. I especially liked the crispy, crunchy, sesame coated falafels, along with the super creamy, tahini-rich hummus. Finally, the Chicken Shawarma and Lamb Shawarma plates both came with freshly-grilled strips of marinated meat, served over yellow rice and with sides of Opa salad and hummus. Overall, this was a great local restaurant for fresh, delicious food at great prices and with friendly service too!

Friendly neighborhood cafe with a wide variety of quality items to choose from. Everything is fresh and delicious. The husband/wife team and the employees are all amazing! I do a usual item and recently changed up and when the chef saw it was me...he came out just to make sure. Now that's service...they get it right! I highly recommend Opa Cafe.
