"For the love of meat" You can feel the passion here at Olivier's Butchery. The staff is friendly and enthusiastic. The place is pristine as if they just opened, but has been open since 2011. You can peer into the cutting room in the back and everything looks as clean as the store front. You know they're handling everything with precision and care. So what's so special about this place as far as the meats? Several different qualities of organic grass fed meats dry aged to perfection. Truly a home chef's dream. organic grass fed beef, aged to to 21 - 45 days, marinated single portions, and for home chef's advance bone marrow. Makes a great gift for your home chef or meat lover. Locals seem to walk over just to pick up a steak, or piece of marinated meat to cook for dinner. We also met people from the South and North bay who drove all the way over to pick up grass fed meats. My husbands comes in often to grab meats for our new meat locker fridge to finish dry aging at home. Enjoy.

These people absolutely love meat, and it shows. They know the cuts, they know the marinades. The product quality is high, and their pre-marinated meat is absolutely delicious. Definitely tell them what you're trying to do and ask for advice, they will have advice for you. They've got a wide variety of meat, including less common ones like duck, quails and rabbit. There is no seafood. The prices are not cheap, but it is one of those things where they are actually providing value for what you pay for.It is also by far and away the cleanest butcher shop I have ever been to. The only serious downside to this place is their days open are a bit odd - you have to plan ahead. They're only open Wednesday-Sunday.

Olivier's Butchery has very fresh and high quality meat. I like their beef selection and my husband loves the chicken wings. The service is always great. It has a very hip ambiance. Even though we've moved out of the area, we still drive out of our way to get meat here because of the great quality.

One of my go to Butchers in SF.. they were even able to get me a whole pig once. Their spatchcock chicken is a great option if you want something easy and fast to cook while still feeling highbrow

Part 4:This time we bought the Boneless Rib-eye and Wagyu Tri tip for dinner. Like always the meats did not disappoint. They taught me how to cook the Tri tip in the oven. It was absolutely delicious. We cooked the Ribeye to medium and it melted in our mouths. Amazing service with outstanding environment to select from.Thank you again!Happy New Year's!

I was super excited to pick up my order after reading all these reviews. I ordered two steaks one 45 day dry aged NY and one Ribeye, the NY looks great and the ribeye does not. I am usually not one to complain, I worked in a high end meat department for 10 years and I've heard it all. The steak they gave me was an end cut with 66% of fat and I am not happy. Maybe it was an off day I might give it another try if they make it right. Review has been edited from one start to 3 UPDATE: So the manager called and said that she saw what happened and was so sorry she did not intervene, and took care of the ribeye. The NY looked fantastic so I have no problem paying for that. I am glad she fixed the issue, I will give them another shot. I don't complain about stuff like this and this is my first review. I just wanted my first purchase from Olivier's to be an amazing experience.
