We love dropping by on Sundays during the Clement Street Farmers market. Frank always takes care with our order and is positive and pleasant! They have a good selection of fresh delicious fish. Most recently we loved the shrimp tempura roll, hamachi nigiri, avocado cucumber inside out roll, and rainbow roll with real snow crab. Indoors is a cute, small shop with lovely Japanese accents and curios.I like just being able to casually drop by and order at the counter or place an order for pickup on their website.

First time coming here and have enjoyed it so far! Pleasantly surprised with how delicious the sushi is and how fresh it tastes. Order through a screen and wait for your number to be called. It takes 15mins ish for order to be made, but it's definitely a chance to walk around and enjoy the different shops around the neighborhood. Only one person is working there so I def think you should come being patient! No real seating inside but there is some outdoor seating. I honestly really liked it and if you live near enough and just want good sushi to-go and maybe to eat at gg park it's a nice spot!

Loveeee this spot!! We've ordered both delivery and eaten at the parklet right outside of the restaurant several times. Service is friendly and efficient. The fish is really fresh - salmon don bowl is one of our go-to orders as well as the salmon avocado and spicy scallop maki roll. Highly recommend!

Quaint little sushi shop tucked away on Clement St, without any flashy signage it was hard for me to even spot it amongst the Sunday Farmer's Market bustle! We placed our orders for to-go sushi on a giant screen & our food was ready within 15 mins! We ordered the Salmon Donburi Bowl, Alaska Maki Roll, Scallop Roll & Miso. Everything tasted fresh & really hit the spot! We will be back for more no-frills, fresh sushi takeout.

tldr; super fresh fish, reasonable prices! takeout or eat at the parklet in front. price: ~$15Oishinbo Sushi is a casual spot in the Richmond that's easy to miss but shouldn't be. You order at the giant kiosk in the store, and it took us less than ten minutes for us to get our order. - Hamachi, salmon, tuna donburi: Came with yellow radish, a generous dollop of wasabi, pickled ginger, and plenty of fresh fish on a bed of well-seasoned sushi rice. Every component tasted fresh and perfect. I don't think I normally think about the freshness of fish when I do similar dishes at other restaurants normally, but freshness really came to mind when I was eating this bowl. Would definitely come back to try their specialty rolls -- we also found that this place is conveniently available on Doordash. :)

Stopped by here mid bike ride and it was fantastic. You hardly ever find good casual sushi at a decent price these days and this chef executed. Reminds me of what you think Japan would be like but it's not. Fish is fresh, chef doesn't speak English, no frills, and simple. I love it!

As i was paying their debit/credit card machine froze. So the chef insisted for me to use their menu on their touch screen and pay. After he tried fixing it. He touched multiple things before going back to behind the counter. I see him wipe his hand on a dirty yellow rag and proceeds to grab my raw salmon to make my Philadelphia Hr. I asked "sorry, do you mind washing your hands first?" and he just laughed it off saying his hands are clean. As I already paid I felt forced to get it anyway. I regret eating it as it left a bad taste in my mouth. Later that day I check my account and I was charged twice! Moral of the story is PLEASE WAS YOUR HANDS esp preparing raw food!

What do you do before going to the dentist? You treat yourself to a "nice" meal...in the fog...chasing after napkins and containers being flown away by the wind.Because that's SF's summer for you! At least, you get your squats in while eating, or trying to!The city is saturated by sushi restos but what stood out to me about Oishinbo Sushi is I read that is Japanese owned and operated which is a unicorn these days. Opening in January 2023, Oishinbo Sushi is a sushi takeout operation. No delivery. There's a cute public parklet in front where you can enjoy your meal onsite. M E N USashimi, nigiri, donburi, maki rolls, American sushi rolls, and salads. Very limited fish selection: sake (salmon), hamachi (yellowtail), maguro (tuna), and unagi (eel). They sometimes have daily specials but there were none on the day I visited. O R D E R I N G You can order ahead online or by phone. There's one kiosk inside for in-person orders. Since I was on a time crunch, I called in my order (online ordering was not working) and it was ready by the time I arrived (15 minutes). F O O D* Chirashi w/ hamachi, maguro, sake ($27): https://tinyurl.com/3r4rh9vfThe bed of sushi rice was well-seasoned with the proper room temperature. A tad too sticky since there were clumps but otherwise pretty solid. It was topped a mix of hamachi (yellowtail), maguro (tuna), and sake (salmon)...12 pieces total. The maguro and the sake were the standouts - uber fresh, smooth, and buttery in texture. Served with pickled yellow radish (crunchy+acidic), shredded daikon (soapy taste), a shiso leaf (wilted), pickled ginger, and wasabi. Def recommend asking for more wasabi, as there wasn't enough. The accompanying bowl of miso soup was solid - hot, comforting, and not overly salty. It was chockfull of silken tofu and wakame. * Unagi & Avocado Hand Roll ($8): https://tinyurl.com/ys8bnkhwConsidering this was made when I arrived and I ate the hand roll asap outside, it was disappointing. The unagi was dry and overbaked, and the hand roll itself was sloppily prepared. The bottom portion of the rice was drenched in unagi sauce and the nori was very soggy and chewy. S E R V I C EAll business and prompt.A M B I A N C EMinimalist takeout operation.P A R K I N GDifficult street and metered parking during peak hours. Overall, Oishinbo Sushi is a good option for takeout sushi if you live in the area....or if you're going to the dentist nearby. OFC, you gotta hit up Genki Crepes afterwards!

Totally solid for what is really just take-out only sushi. The fish tasted pretty fresh and everything is made to order. I liked both my roll and my hand roll and there's a little parklet outside you can eat at right outside.
