BEWARE GUY TRIED TO SCAM ME OF MY LOTTERY SCRATCHER WINNINGS. AUGUST 3 AT AROUND 1 PM PST.I won $20 on a scratcher and handed the ticket to the guy (Indian descent looking). He asked me if I want cash or buy tickets. I said cash please. I asked how much did I win. He said $10. I said really? I thought it was $20. He paused and looked away and then he was silent when he gave me my $20. Filed a complaint with the CA lottery customer service. I wonder how many times has he done this. Tip! Always scan your ticket with the app.

Everytime I have to go to St Francis Hospital, I usually stop by this corner store at Hyde x Pine. It has wine, liquor, snacks, and a deli counter. It's always clean and the clerk is quick to help me and get the sale done. Maybe you don't want to be in there during an earthquake, because that big wine wall is intimidating. Street parking.

So one day I strolled into this store to grab a quick drink and found many glass containers on their counter towards the back of the store containing many unique sweets, like cookies and cakes. I saw one of the containers having peanut butter chocolate bars and just had to give it a try. It was unique and I haven't had anything similar to it. They have many other sweet treats which when I have a chance I hope to try. So if you find yourself near the Nob Hill area of SF and you want a quick treat check this liquor store out.

I have shopped here regularly for several years because I like to support small businesses. However, today something happened that will make me think twice before going back. When I stopped by to turn in a scratch off ticket, the kid behind the register had a fit when I questioned the amount he gave. He started shouting, "It's two dollars! Two dollars!" in a petulant and unprofessional way. I pointed out that the card also said, "free ticket" but he didn't seem to understand that that usually means you also get a free ticket.So in addition to being yelled at for no reason, he stiffed me. I may go back when the regular staff is on duty, but this brat shouldn't be working there.

I stopped in this store a few days ago. I ordered hot food payed for it first. One of the store clerk open the package took the food out with his bare hands hot (Nasty) I was standing right there, I'm so glad that I was, I sad to him I didn't want it he then got mad at me smh. No! not today I wasn't having it just watch them when making any kind of food.

I only come here for coffee drinks and keep it moving. The prices seem reasonable for the most part. They do offer some morning pastries but I'd rather take my chances somewhere else. The coffee they serve here is cheap as well and you can't beat that. Parking around here can be frustrating so keep that in mind.

Be careful if anybody want to claim your winning lotto price here. The cashier with the strange accent took my winning lotto ticket. He swapped my ticket with the new one same number. It is just 2$ I don't really care but I waste a lot of time arguing with him. This guy separately needs money like a dog, so he do everything to get your money even just two dollars.

Best neighborhood 'corner store' in the Nob Hill / TL area if you ask my opinion! Not only do they have a deli, but also a great snack/beverage/alcohol selection. The deli not only makes like 20 or so different sandwiches, but also has deviled eggs (!!!!) and other pasta salads and such. I also was seeking out some delicious sparking water for my friend that just had a baby, and they have such a selection as far as flavored waters! Blood Orange, Kiwi Strawberry, Cherry Lemonade, you name it.Added Bonus - the eye candy that works behind the counter, I haven't had any other employees help me recently, just this GQ model. So helpful and sweet, and awesome at multitasking multiple customers at one time.This place is awesome!!!

Decided to treat myself yo a candy bar. The liquor is well stocked the candy and shelf food items were on the expired side. Brought it to the attention of the clerk and received a fish eyed stare....

Really, Really, Really awesome sandwiches here. Good size, good price. I get the Mediterranean with extra Hummus and Pepperoncinis....
