This is San Francisco, home of gorgeous authentic architecture, and you're applying a cheap flagstone facade? What's wrong with people?

Very expensive and shady. They turned all their milk cartons so you couldn't read the expiration dates and had milk expired by over 2 days. When I finally went to pay, I asked if they charged extra for credit card, and they said, "yes, 12 cents" which wound up being actually 21 cents. When I corrected the cashier, they just chuckled and moved on. There is clearly some unethical stuff going on. Never going back.

Everything super expensive. Cuz they know there's not that much stores around the area . That's why they just wanna cut your balls . 15$ for a pack of cigarette. I have been smoking the same cigarette for 5 years and buying a cigarette everywhere is between 10$-$12 . At this store was 15$ it's really sucks . So i knew it from there this store is really expensive

This convenience store is so expensive that it's completely inconvenient. Time to hitch a ride to Trader Joe's...!

It used to bother me that there's no convenience store at the corner of 18th Street & Connecticut in Potrero Hill. I've ventured down the hill in multiple directions, but despite all the good restaurants, there's nowhere to pick up a soda or a bag of chips. Feeling adventurous last week, I decided to stay on the 22-Fillmore a little bit longer to see what it actually does. Well, lo and behold, there's a really cool little market at Texas Street. Thanks, New Potrero Market; you might be seeing a lot of me in the future.

It funny how a random liquor store in SF could have a pretty decent selection of beer and wine. As Erin R states, "shockingly: so. They also have a manner of weird snacks and a decent softdrink selection. Though the amusing thing I found were these things called "Brentwood Peanut Flips" Wacky....http://www.taquitos.net/im/sn/Brentwood-Flips.jpg

It's a convenience store in Potrero Hill. It's over-priced but at that point you are paying for the convenience. I came in here to buy laundry detergent one day and choked at the $12 for a bottle of tide but then saw that they had some packets of Tide knockoff from China for only $.99 each. Yoink! The guy behind the counter is pretty friendly. They have a $10 minimum to use a debit card.

Neighborhood market that carries more packaged goods and liquor than you might expect. No meat and fresh produce does not look good. Prices are 2-3 times what you'd pay at a supermarket. They don't accept Cal Fresh food stamps. Convenience is their main virtue. If you can, travel two blocks up to 20th Street and shop at The Good Life Market instead. It's far better.

Let's cut to the chase...The beer selection here is shockingly EXXTEENNNSSIIIVVVVEEEEE.I came in on a whim last week to pick up some "fine white wine" for a dinner party. On my stroll to the wine aisle, I stopped dead in my tracks and spent a good 15 minutes perusing (and drooling over) the beer assortment. Simply put, New Potrero Market puts other corner stores to shame with its fridge full of bottles and cans. It should come as no surprise that they carry the ENTIRE collection of their Potrero neighbors Anchor Steam brewery. Or that they present a decent selection from their Speakeasy neighbors to the south (including the Double Daddy). But besides the run-of-the-mill corner store 12-, 18-, and 30-racks, they also have dozens of other varietals including but not limited to Rogue, Boont, Bear Republic, Chimay, Full Sail, Hoegaarden, Sierra Nevada, Stone (Arrogant Bastard, IPA, etc.), Avery(!), the ENTIRE Samuel Smith line... Okay, it sounds like I'm listing off clothing brands at a department store but needless to say I was pretty impressed with NPM's fridge. While they don't carry any beers that are truly outrageous or hard to find, they offer enough of an array to hook you up with the perfect brew.

Nice market, but the owner is mean, and very short-sided. I walked over (15 min) to pick up a can of frosting for a friend's birthday cake. Owner refused to let me purchase (way overpriced item) with plastic (including debit card), insisting there is a $7 minimum. Okay, but that info is not posted anywhere and I've purchased items totaling less than $7 on a card before, albeit with a different employee working the register. I'll walk over to another market in the area now, and every other time I need something. Congrats to the owner, you've lost my business because of your nasty attitude first, and your arbitrary policy second.

The owner accused me of using counterfeit money because the $20 I had literally just got from the bank "looked fake." Very unfriendly and unprofessional.
