Mulan Malatang

Mulan Malatang is a relatively new addition to the area, but they're great! The spicy broth was flavorful and tasty. If you've never been to a Malatang style restaurant, typically what happens if that you pick out ingredients on your own and then pay by weight. After, they cook it up for you hotpot style!The servers are nice, and the restaurant is clean and welcoming!

This is Fukuramen leveled up. Same amazingly delicious broth but so many more toppings. I loved creating my own bowl. Broccoli, tofu, bok choy, veggie dumplings. So many meat and seafood options. I agree with the reviewer who said mild spicy is spicier than you'd expect. It was great for me bc I wanted something between mild and medium. My husband got very spicy and didn't sweat like he sometimes does. So overall, their spice level was spot on for us! For the kids, they got no spice and the server offered spice on the side to add which I thought was a perfect solution for their spice needs!I can't wait to come back here.

Went on the first of the year and right when they opened so pretty hesitant if they were open or not. But once they confirmed they were open then we started to proceed how they worked. For context, we wanted hot pot without the AYCE aspect of having hot pot. This was my first time doing soup by the pound. If you dont know how it works - you basically build your own soup a lot of toppings to choose from - keep in mind this is by the pound so the more toppings you add the heavier it gets BEFORE the broth. Once I picked my toppings then I picked my broth; I picked the pork bone broth with black garlic.They then come out and your soup with toppings & broth of choice comes out in a giant soup bowl!Broth had a lot of a flavor but IMO the broth was salty.I think i'll be back but only when i'm feeling non-hot pot hot pot moment & the need to slurp a bunch of salt.

I found this place near where we were visiting and stopped by to have lunch. Great to pick your own items, add it to the big bowl and they cook it for you. Good selection of veggies and meat, everything looked fresh. They ran out of the knife cut noodles but i would like to try that next time. Clean and spacious. Nice quick and delicious meal!

Very yummy place with lots of toppings and flavorful soups. Seating is hard but since the soup isn't instant ramen, you'll get a table if you wait. Food is great. Service was nice. But the ambiance is definitely the best. They have a tables with a live river that has real fish in it!! Don't get take out. Just dine in!! Will definitely go back. Letter of rec: A

Was in the mood for soup and stumbled upon this restaurant! They are fairly new, so definitely check them out. I was satisfied with the amount of veggie and protein options. I got the pork bone broth with black garlic. Overall, it was pretty tasty, but I do feel like it could be richer umami-wise! As for the establishment itself, it was a very cute and modernized space. My favorite part about this place was the red envelope heart wall

The first Malatang place I've found in the city. The broth and food were good. But I feel like the broth lacks some flavor. Also hoped that we could have sesame sauce etc at the sauce bar. But it's a great place overall.

Great open space for families and events. Things to pick from was less than other places, but still very good choices. The tonkatsu broth is really good! Mild spicy can be a bit spicier than expected.

The server was very friendly and attentive. The ambiance was great and the food was amazing as well. Definitely a new and welcome addition

super nice workers! soft opening so not super busy but a very nice vibe inside. the food is so yummy highly recommend!! the owner even gave me and my friends free drinks!
