Great service and good food. What isn't there to like? We came here for the Grand Opening to try their free slices of Pizza, hidden in Sushirito in the Financial District of San Francisco, and were happily greeted by one of the friendly servers who described the different flavors to us.We all ended up getting all of the different flavors to try and share since all of them looked good and we're coming out fresh and piping hot. The flavors were: Cheese, Pepperoni, Soy-Braised Beef, Japanese Curry Chicken, Spicy Pork. The Cheese had Mozzarella and sweet Tomato Jam. This may sound plain, but it was actually really good because you could really taste more of awesome combination of the Tomato Jam and the Mochi Pizza Crust. The Soy-Braised Beef had Mozzarella, Corn, Kimchi Sauce, and Cilantro. This had nice flavor from the Soy-Braised Beef combined with the Kimchi. The Japanese Curry Chicken had Curry Sauce, Mozzarella, Corn, Jalapeno, and Cilantro. This didn't have any heat even with the Jalapeno, but that was fine because it had flavor from the Curry Sauce with the Chicken. The Spicy Pork had Mozzarella, Spicy Pork, Sesame Spinach, Romano Cream Sauce. The Spicy Pork was actually not that spicy to my standards, it was more on the milder side of life, but I thought that was fine since you can taste more of the flavors from the Spicy Pork combined with the creaminess from the Romano Cream Sauce. As for the Pepperoni had Mozzarella, sweet Tomato Jam, Fresh Garlic Chives, and Pepperoni. This was my least favorite, but that doesn't mean it was terrible. This had really good flavor from the sweet Tomato Jam combined with the Fresh Garlic Chives while getting the nice crunchy texture from the Pepperoni and the edges of the Mochi Pizza Crust. As for the Mochi Pizza Crust, it had a nice bouncy and springy texture that you would expect from Mochi, but it wasn't sweet. It also had a nice crunch from the Mochi Pizza Crust like Butter Mochi or Grilled Mochi. This was a nice difference from the usual Pizza Crusts.Overall, the service was great, everything was very nommy, and the Mochi Pizza Crust is a definite must try.

Currently, Mochiko Mochi Pizza is operating inside the Sushirrito restaurant. I got the combo which allows two flavors, so I tried the chicken curry and pepperoni. The crust is very dense and chewy. Both flavors were not bad, but I would prefer eating curry over rice, and a bread-based crust for the pepperoni pizza. It was very heavy so I only ate half, would be good for sharing.

First time trying mochi pizza and it was ok. It's a bit salty and too much mochi dough. Better if thin, crispy and chewy. I got spicy pork, curry chicken and pepperoni. I think the basic flavor of pepperoni is better. Customer service is great and I'm glad it's made to order but takes 15-20 min. Would recommend you order online or over the phone before coming to pick it up. Same location as sushirito. Would I come back? Hmmm... maybe if they change the dough and it's less salty. Overall it is still something unique to try as long as you don't have high expectations.

Ordered takeout from this place (they don't have dine in). Their estimate for when the food would be ready was on point, my only complaint is for delivery the minimum is 50$ which is pretty high for 1-2 people when each pizza is 15$. The size of each one is decent for 1 person, I would order at least 1 per person, maybe 1 extra if you are feeling especially hungry and have a larger group. We got half pork and chicken and a full pepperoni. To start, the pizza base was great. The gooeyness from the mochi is amazing and we loved the bite it has. As for the toppings, we would never get the pork (had some weird after taste we weren't a fan of) and would probably avoid the pepperoni as the sauce was mediocre and the taste came off really strong and kind of sweet which we are not fans of at all. Also would have liked for the pepperoni to have had more than 10 slices in the whole pizza. The curry chicken was by far the best, and it would be the one I go back for. It was great flavor and well cooked chicken (not too dry).Overall would go back only for the chicken but not often. Not the biggest fan of

Decided to try this spot because it's relatively new and different! I got the half and half with Japanese Curry and the Spicy Pork. Both were pretty good. The crust was chewy as you'd expect. A good amount of flavor in each bite, but nothing about it was really eye-popping. Each really is good for one person to be full, but for 2 people you'll still probably be a bit hungry. I walked right past this place because it's actually inside sushirrito. You can pre-order so you don't have to wait 15 minutes while you're there. Very limited seating, maybe for 8-10 people at most, so you may need to take it to go.

I tried a free sample of the mochi pizza on its grand opening day. I think it's a great concept, but the issue is every pizza except pepperoni is spicy. All of the Asian toppings is spicy. I tried the beef pizza not knowing it is spicy. It was way too spicy and caused me to drink a lot of water. Normally I can handle mild, so I was really surprised at how spicy it was like maybe I accidentally bite into a piece of jalapeño. It is very crunchy though and a very interesting new type of pizza.

Mochi pizza is such a unique concept! The crust was chewy and crispy. If you love mochi, this is definitely a must-try experience. It's rare to see mochi prepared as a savory snack/dish, and I was not disappointed at all. Not sure if this business will have their own standalone store but for now, the menu is inside Sushiritto on Kearny St. There is also a sign with the QR code that you can scan to order, but when I tried ordering on the website at around 4pm on a Saturday, they were not taking online orders so I had to walk into the store to place my order. Service was friendly and by the way, the mochi pizzas are made to order, so expect a wait time of 20-25 minutes! I went across the street to Yokee's for milk tea and came back to pick up my order. Street parking was easy but I might have been lucky since it wasn't peak traffic time. There are a few tables and window seats but I don't suggest dining in with a big group of friends since there was only one or two tables made for four people available. Solo dining or party of two would be perfect. I saw sauce bottles and soy sauce packets at each table for customizing sushirittos to one's liking. I was tempted to add some sriracha aioli to my pizza but I'm glad I didn't because it was definitely flavorful enough. You have the option of dining in or takeout, but I decided to bring the pizza home. I highly recommend eating it as soon as possible while the mochi is still soft and chewy, but I have yet to find out how it is like after reheating the next day. Ordered the combo of two flavors: pepperoni and spicy pork. The spice level of the pork was barely kicking, definitely kid-friendly spice. This was great for me since I have a low spice tolerance. The pepperoni was crispy and the mozzarella cheese pull was immaculate. I think I might like mochi pizza better than regular thin crust pizza since it's not greasy.Total came out to around $16ish after tax. Not too bad for a quick bite shared between two people. Will definitely try the other flavors next time, and get a sushi handroll too.

Excellent service and thoughtful staff! We wanted to try the mochi pizza and ordered a combo, but got charged for two separate pizzas by mistake. The person working the cash register noticed the error and offered to make it right by refunding us the difference. I said it was okay, since we were just excited to try the pizza, so she gave us free drinks and a sushi burrito to make things right. AND we still ended up with two separate pizzas. Really appreciate that!

Amazing food! The sauce to cheese ratio is on point, and the crust is crunchy while giving a bit of chewy ness of the mochi. The service was amazing! The ambiance is nice for a more casual setting, would recommend ordering ahead
