Overall a good experience. Reservations are upstairs, walking are downstairs. I got the blackened salmon with jambalaya, and mo's cider to drink. The salmon looked ok in other pictures, but was noticeably better looking in real life. Moist and delicious on the inside with lots of flavor. The cocktail (mo's cider, a hot cider and whiskey drink) was amazing in a chilly night, but the heaters on the patio also work at a pretty astonishing temperature and kept the whole area warm. Staff were friendly as well. The only reason this is 4/5 stars and not 5/5 is that the price to serving size ratio isn't amazing. That said, in the past I've had a couple items that were of good value. The burger is decent value, but this is an oyster bar so getting the burger kind of misses the point. The clam chowder in a bread bowl though, is a sleeper hit. It's tasty, filling, and cheap.

Slightly above-average food (dungeness crab benedict, calamari appetizer) but the calamari was a generous portion. You're paying more for the view than the food and the view isn't much (industrial bay).Pleasant, fast service.

We had an amazing experience at Mission Rock Resort! Our big group arrived with a reservation, and the staff was incredibly accommodating. The service was attentive and friendly from start to finish. But what really made our visit special was the little touches. This place is kid friendly and our server offered to take a group photo of us, which was a lovely surprise. And the outdoor seating area? Absolutely stunning! The views were breathtaking, and we felt like we were on top of the world. And then, of course, there was the food - which was top-notch. We were all impressed with our meals, and left feeling satisfied and happy.Recommend:Dungeness Crab & Bay Shrimp RollRock Burger

Great spot to catch up with friends and enjoy a delicious American brunch. I'm a huge fan of eggs Benedict, so I decided to try the rare option with Dungeness crab. The crab portion was generous, and I really liked how they used whole potatoes--such a unique touch! The fish was also very tasty. It was funny, though, that it came with French fries instead of chips. The only downside was the weather--it rained and the skies were gloomy when we visited. Still, it's a fantastic spot with a great view, and it's super close to the Chase Center. Definitely a perfect place to hang out before the game!

Many more dinners here since my first review. Often with friends. The food is consistently very good. Clam chowder is nice and thick with plenty of clams. The burger is GREAT. Linguini Vongole is also excellent. So is the shrimp scampi, served with a thick chunk of bread so that you can soak up that yummy sauce. Fish tacos are also very good. Deviled eggs are a bit on the pricey side - but more elegant than your typical run-of-the-mill deviled eggs, and delicious! And the fries are a must have at nearly every dinner. Service is usually quick. Ask for your extra condiments when you order. We really enjoy this place.

I came here for brunch since we were looking for a nice place to get some food around Mission Bay. Since we had made a reservation, we were able to be seated right away in the upstairs patio area right next to the ocean. The interior is bright and modern with a great view outside if you're able to sit there. For the food I decided to get the Fish and Chips along with their Pina Colada. The Fish and Chips were great, as the beer battered rockfish was really crispy and went well with the tartar sauce. I also enjoyed the Pina Colada a lot, since it was pretty sweet and had coconut creme in it for additional flavor. Even though this place is on the pricier side, the ambience and views from the restaurant make it nice for brunch!

Mission Rock Resort is a beautiful restaurant located in the industrial part of San Francisco, overlooking Pier 68 and the water. It's a bit tucked away, but the views make the trip worth it. There's paid street parking, but it becomes free after 6pm.The restaurant itself has two levels with both indoor and outdoor seating options. Being right by the water, you're treated to a gorgeous view, especially during sunset. I went on a Tuesday night, and to my surprise, it was quite busy! I'd recommend either going early or making a reservation to snag a great seat by the water. Now, onto the food!Fish & Chips ($26) - The fries were perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The fried rockfish came in large portions, though I'd recommend cutting into it to check if it's fully cooked as mine wasn't the first time around. It comes with tartar sauce and ketchup, which adds flavor since the fish can be a bit bland on its own. I do wish the lemon wedge was a bit bigger.Frito Misto ($21) - This is a must have. It's a shared appetizer with fried calamari, shrimp, zucchini, lemon, and jalapeno. Everything was fried to perfection, with a nice kick in the seasoning. It also came with tartar sauce on the side. Caesar Salad ($17) - This was one of the best Caesar salads I've had. The whole romaine lettuce leaves were fresh and crunchy, and the dressing was flavorful and perfectly balanced. The service was excellent. The staff was attentive, always checking if we needed water or were finished with our plates before clearing them. Our server also gave some great recommendations from the menu, which we appreciated.Overall, if you're looking for a spot with great food, fantastic service, and a stunning view, Mission Rock Resort is a solid choice.

It's a real challenge to decide how to rate this restaurant because of the experience we had. On the one hand, it sits beautifully on the water and has a wonderful friendly vibe to it. On the other hand, they should by now, of course, be experienced in getting their dinner guest served well before the deadline for going to a performance at Chase Center. We asked when we sat down if we had enough time. We were assured that we did but an hour and a half later we still had not received our dinners and had to settle for just our drinks, the warm sourdough bread, and, fortunately, an order of french fries that I had the foresight to order!! Our waiter was wonderful in terms of apologizing for our experience, assuring us that it normally is not that difficult to get ones food and he took the charges off our bill. So I cannot comment on the food other than the french fries, which were excellent and the sourdough bread also good, But we left to see a comedian we love with empty stomachs.

Planned a new year lunch for our department of 23 staff. Mission Rock accommodated us when we ended up with just 15. They put us in a beautiful bright room with wall to wall windows - we looked over the rainy ocean and enjoyed delicious food, easy fast service, a welcoming atmosphere. It was the best department lunch our unit ever had - great food, great service, rustic sea side vintage atmosphere. Ricardo was very gracias. Rachel was warm and kind. Monique was the online contact - so helpful. Very reasonable prices. I had the ahi tuna bowl - with avocado instead of tuna. It was soooo good- huge servings. I ate every last bite. Nice, dark iced tea. Our group loved it - despite the rain and Mission Bay parking. I took public transit which is so easy - Mission Rock is right next to transit lines. Great event, thanks to Mission Rock's hard working staff and amazing location. Thank you!
