Milk Tea Lab

Ever since moving to the area, Milk Tea Lab has become my go-to boba spot. I've tried a few of their drinks ~ honey roasted milk tea, mango milk tea, green Thai tea, and classic milk tea - all with lychee jelly as my topping. Everything has been delicious. Worth noting their sizes are huge! Regular is like a normal place's large and a large is like an extra large, at least in my experience. Service is excellent as well. They have a rewards system (virtual stamp card) so be sure to enter your phone number at the cashier. I once got a text for a reward that expired by the time I came back, but they honored it anyways. This type of customer service made me a repeat customer. There is ample seating for those that want to dine-in or hang out. I think it's one of the only places open pretty late at night so good option for group hangouts.

Boyfriend took me to this place because he knows how much I LOVE boba... ordered something and man I was beyond disappointed...The drinks here taste so artifical!!! Not a hint of natural flavors were in the different drinks that I got and so sugary!!! I got a mango milk tea and got to try their brown sugar milk tea as well. The mango milk tea tasted nothing of mango at all... it was like I was drinking a liquid candy which really wasn't pleasant. The brown sugar one was SUPER sweet as if I were drinking just the brown sugar itself. The tea here itself isn't that strong either which is a huge problem if it's going to have that much sugar in them.The service is pretty good however! I do like the employees rhat work here and everytime I went they were really nice. Once I thought I brought my wallet with me and ordered and when I went to pay I found out that I didn't have my card or cash on me which I was devastated... I tried to pay with my phone and it wasn't working with their system and was about to leave the shop before they said they would just give me the two drinks I ordered on the house! That was genuinely so sweet of them to do I felt really happy that night and it made me want to go back again.I think their drinks could use improvement but they're doing the best they can I believe. I think if I need a refresher I'll go just for a regular tea since their sized cups are pretty huge after all

Like 2.5/5.Honey roasted milk tea with grass jelly 5/10- watery, hardly any tea flavor, not creamy at all - sweetness level was okay, no complaints there - have have options for GIANT cups - grass jelly not made well, had a sandy flavor compared to other boba shops Organic Jasmine Milk Tea 3/10- very floral (I liked that part) but watery. - tea flavor is very minimal and similar to the Quickly tea flavors Overall, the shop is cute and has claw machines. They open late so if you ever have cravings it'll probably hit the spot. Service is unremarkable but I wasn't expecting much so this didn't impact my thoughts on the place. The drinks were very mid. It wasn't good but it wasn't the worst. It's not too expensive so maybe I'd come back if I reallllllllly wanted a drink. I'm new to the SSF area and saw the really good reviews here so I'm just a little disappointed by the quality of drinks here. I'll probably come back to see if it was just an off night.

Service - Only one loyalty stamp per visit. Personally I think it is a poor business practice. There were 3 of us, and would you have preferred that we each buy our drinks separately? To create a longer line? This practice discourages us from supporting you.Is this practice just this location? Or your entire brand?It should be 1 stamp per drink.Price - $27, reasonably priced for 5 drinks.Owner Comment - Congrats on your franchisor's success since 2016 and your success at this location since 2018.

Place was clean for the most part and empty. The bobaristas were busy making some DoorDash orders but they did acknowledge us when we entered. I got my usual (at every boba spot) a Thai tea. Because you can't really go wrong with that. And it didn't disappoint. They made a fresh batch of it because they were out and I loved it. The boba was still warm which was delicious!

A friend had recommended this place to me and one late night she and I happened to be in the area so we decided to go. The nice thing about this location is that they are open late for those late night boba cravings. She got a large brown sugar milk tea and because I had never been there before I got just a large classic milk tea. My drink was good but nothing special. In hindsight, I should have gotten her drink because it looks very good. The staff was very friendly to us and I should've probably asked for a drink recommendation. Overall, I'd give my experience a solid 7/10 and would give it another try if I happen to be in the area. note; this location's menu is not posted on their website.

Simply the freshest boba around! Our favs are the mango lover with lychee add on, Thai ice tea 59% sugar and Tiger Milk Tea! 32 ounces of milk!

Milk Tea Lab has been one of my go-to boba spots in South City for years! I'm Somone who is addicted to boba and get it a few times a week. I've also tried almost every boba spot around the peninsula and I've got to say that Milk Tea Lab is one of my favorite. I always get their Honey Roasted Milk Tea with Grass Jelly which is one of their most popular and preset things to order. While you're able to order a good amount of different kinds if drinks their specialty comes with the quality of taste. It doesn't taste like pure syrups or powder which most boba spots use, it actually taste like tea from leaves and bags which is what Milk Tea Lab uses. And their boba tastes fresh and has a great texture. Not only that but they are one of the only boba spots in the area that are open past 10pm, so I always recommend going here for a late night boba run for any occasion. You can come and go or you can stay and chill out with the nice chill environment. They have board games and open tables to play on as well as claw machines. Their workers are very nice and welcoming and definitely see me quite often. Overall great testament to a boba spot!

So many choices, it's a little overwhelming and some of the items I don't know what they are based on their names. I went with the red bean Pearl milk tea no sugar and no ice (seemed like hot option was not available for delivery). The portion size was pretty big for its price which made me give it more stars. The drink itself was ok, but nothing spectacular. The boba texture was good, but didn't taste sweet or anything. The drink, seeing I chose no sweetness, I thought it would be a bit strong on tea flavor or a bit bitter, but it wasn't. If you like strong tea flavor, this might not be good for you, but I liked it that way.

This is one of my favorite boba places! I ordered the Cupid tonic and it was perfectly sweet. I like the lychee and sparkling water blend as it's refreshing with a bubbly aftertaste. The boba was a bit on the chewy side and I wish it was a bit more firm but I would still come back here!
