We wanted to get boba so we stopped by before heading to the Golden Gate Park. It is nicely located a block from the N stop.I ordered the oreo drink with popping boba. As a fan of Oreos, I think the drink was good. It was interesting to try their popping boba. My partner got the drink with honey boba and said the boba was good. It wasn't sweet but chewy. The order was made via a kiosk and although there was only one worker, the drink came out relatively quick. The cafe has a few small tables inside if you want to sit and chat with your friends/family.

Your boba fix will be fulfilled here! A great spot to get dessert after dinner - or anytime for that matter! For some reason, I personally really like the taro drink here with pearls. My friends get the usual black tea with pearls, to-go.

Jonzing for some hot ginger milk tea on a cold foggy night, I stopped into this empty small shop where the only service is a contact less kiosk and two people talking to each other in the back, paying customers no mind. The screen's search engine doesn't work, but under the title Hot Milk Tea section was 'honey ginger,' so I chose it without any choice prompt for sugar level or cup size...For $5+ I get a small cup of very sweet ginger tea with NO MILK! Sigh...

My coworkers and I like to try the different boba places by our office, and this one is just average to me. I got the taro slushie and it was too icy, and the store was very small and claustrophobic. The staff weren't able to answer my question about non dairy options, so I had to use the self service kiosk which had better descriptions available.

It like that I live close to this Taiwanese boba place. It's small and cozy, they even have board games which they collect from Asia for their guests to enjoy. Staff is friendly and efficient I always get my order in a timely manner even if there is a line. I love the Mango Lover it's a mango smoothie with mango boba and mango chunks. I'm particularly fond of the tonics they serve the Peach Tonic with lychee jelly is delicious, the Alien Tonic is the sour green apple with mango stars, very interesting. My favorite is the Cupid Tonic which is lychee tonic with blueberry heart jelly I'm hooked!!! Most drinks are less than $8 so very reasonable. Want to go to a homey and good place to get your boba drinks visit Milk Lab!

I got a regular milk tea with boba with 0% sugar. They gave me plenty of boba which I liked! They made the drinks fast and if I remember correctly you order off an ipad.

Nice staff. Had the matcha and taro. Prefer taro. Matcha was still good. The place had chairs and tables. Great for conversation and take a rest.

That same space in Irving of Inner Sunset had such good fro-yo desserts with a chunky piece of honeycomb on top. Sadly, it's now replaced with a bubble tea shop called Milk Tea Lab. Looks like we all get used to change since we mostly checked in new places, posted photos, and wrote reviews. Having good bubble tea drinks is better than nothing. So I thought I would give this bubble tea shop a try.Any weird experiment or crazy concoctions in the Milk Tea Lab? No surprises here. Just another same old ingredients used to make good bubble teas. Alien Tonic? Good space age name given to an artificial green apple food coloring. I could just settle for Matcha. But wait! There's one with honey black pearls and the other with red beans. Neither. I love my full matcha green tea when it's both unsweetened and bitter. Thus, I chose the winner, Strawberry Mojito tonic. This special drink must have enough ice and sugar. My topping will definitely be the lychee jelly, which was in the red element section of the periodic table. What I also liked about this special drink was the mint leaves, which were edible. The next time I come to Milk Tea Lab, I choose to customize my drink instead. The interior sure looks the same ever since I have had my fro-yo sundae. The service here turned out A-OK. Cheers to their promising effort. (UwU)6

Milk Tea Lab has Quick service, all your favorite drinks, and great location near so many other good restaurants on Irving. Stop by before or after a meal! I opted for my go to mango green tea and was feeling edgy so I added peach as well. This was an excellent choice and I would get this again in a heartbeat. Boba was large and chewy, but slightly not enough in this drink and I ran out quicker than I would've hoped. I would like to come back and try some of their specials as it seems like that would set them apart from say a Tpumps type boba shop. My friend got a mango smoothie with no boba and said he enjoyed it but I honestly don't know how much I trust his opinion. But if you just want a smoothie then go for it!

I ordered their honey roasted milk tea and subbed grass jelly with boba, 70% sweet, lite ice. The sweetness level was good. The boba was very soft; I prefer it more bouncy and chewy. Tea base was not particularly strong for a "roasted" tea flavor. Overall not bad, but not the best boba drink I've had.Service was quick and friendly. We got 10% off for paying with cash. Would I go out of my way to go here? No, but it was good enough to satisfy a boba craving without breaking the bank.
