I love Milagros! Whether it's daytime or nighttime, the vibe is always just right. One of my favorite things about this spot is the covered side area with glass paneling--it lets you enjoy the outdoor atmosphere even when it's raining, which was perfect for my visit. My boyfriend and I came here on a rainy January night, and the energy was still going strong--Latin music, vibrant lighting, and festive decor all around. Our waiter was especially sweet--so polite and kind, which made the experience even better. The food was delicious! I ordered my go-to, enchiladas suizas, though I do wish the portion was slightly larger. It would also be nice if they offered complimentary chips and salsa, which they don't. The only other thing I'd tweak is the music volume--it was a bit loud, so I had to raise my voice to talk to my partner. Overall, though, I'll definitely be back!

To be fair, I live in Tucson where we have genuinely amazing Mexican food from all sorts of regions on almost every corner. So I'm comparing to a high standard. The Milagros space was cute, and once we were seated, the service was quite good. The house margarita was a good start, but following it with the El Hipster was a mistake (I know, the name should have warned me). Where the margarita was nicely balanced, the flavors in El Hipster were fighting each other and the spice in the description was nonexistent. The salsa trio also lacked spice. The red and green salsas were shockingly mild and lacked seasoning, and the mango salsa was full on sweet. My dining companions enjoyed their tacos (though they were visiting from a country that has literally no Mexican food) but my Carnitas Nortenas was on the dry side. The guacamole it was served with was nice, and the refried beans were in the salty side but also delicious. All in all, go for happy hour and enjoy their gorgeous patio, but skip dinner.

I've been a loyal customer at Milagros for over 20 years and have seen the restaurant go through many changes, some for the better, some for the worse. One thing I've always counted on is their fajitas, which have significantly improved over the years, transforming from a soupy, soggy mess to a fresh, sizzling platter.Unfortunately, my most recent visit was a major disappointment. Instead of the hot, flavorful dish I've come to expect, I was served lukewarm steak mixed with pre-cooked, soggy veggies on a warm, but not sizzling platter. It felt like a step backward, and I hope Milagros can bring back the quality that kept me coming back for so many years. On top of that, I really hate that I have to pay for chips and salsa, it's like being charged for bread and butter at a restaurant. A complimentary bucket of warm chips and freshly made salsa used be a welcoming touch, but now being charged $5 for it just feels like another way to nickel-and-dime customers

I had a nice work lunch here - I'm rounding up to 4 stars, probably more accurately three and a half!Milagros has a good-sized menu with options for those who don't eat meat, don't want a lot of carbs, etc. They have a big list of different tacos; I tried the cauliflower taco and it was good. I kinda think they should do a taco combo where you can get 3-4 tacos with sides instead of ordering them a la carte. I liked the bueno bowl I had but it was nothing super exciting. I do feel like this is one of those places where it would be fun to have drinks and appetizers or going for a group lunch with people with varied diets. We got there around 11:45 for lunch on a Thursday, and we were seated quickly, even with a group of ten, so they weren't super busy then!I always want to complain about "fancy" Mexican places since we have so many good, inexpensive taquerias in the Bay Area - but this place wasn't too overpriced! There is street parking and lot parking across the street - not too pricey.

Great spot for happy hour specials with cute interior vibes and plenty of space!Food Recommendations:For Tacos: The Churrasco Steak Taco is yummy! It hits the spot and has nice sauces. For Drinks: The Red Wine Sangria is one of my favs. I enjoy refreshing drinks and this one is nice. For Dessert: The Concha Bread Pudding. This is what I look forward to here and I would easily just come to pick this item up and take it to-go. It's warm, creamy, and moist. The sauces really bring it together. Service: The staff is professional and the food comes it pretty quickly. You can order with the waitstaff or using a QR Code, but if you are in a group that is doing separate checks, they encourage you to use the QR Code to order so you can check out individually. Ambiance: Super cute interior that is warmly lit, and decorated beautifully with papel picado, lights, and It's a pretty big restaurant with booths, high tables, a bar, patio, and semi-private table that can accommodate a group of 10. Overall: I would come back for the ambiance in groups. Super cute!

Came here after work on a Friday evening and was able to get seated in 20-30 minutes. Beware of parking as it's extremely busy Friday evenings and plan accordingly! While waiting for our table we started with some drinks which we were able to quickly order. I got the Pomegranate TJ Mule which was the right balance between sweet and tart with the alcohol not being overpowered. Dare I say it was a refreshing cocktail! For food, we did a family style of snacks with our choice of guacamole (non-spicy and spicy which has a strong kick), yucca fries, jalapeno poppers, and salsa trio. All of the appetizers were so flavorful and were great to munch on over drinks. The appetizers got quite filling so I ended up only eating a crispy avocado taco which wasn't too heavy but still hit my taco craving. Overall great place for socializing and having drinks and snacks!

I've been coming here for years now, and tonight I had the mini gorditas and a piña colada slushy. The mini gorditas were absolutely delicious, and the green sauce in them was amazing.A big thank you to Daniel, my server for the evening--he was welcoming, professional, and truly made the experience great.

Great and lively Mexican restaurant in the heart of Redwood City. We got chips with three salsas (tomatillo, red, and pineapple), as well as yucca fries, for appetizers, and all of these were excellent. I got a chile relleno for my entree, and it was incredible and flavorful. Service was also friendly and efficient.

Flavor (4/5): They have great guacamole and chips here! I had their cubed steak over fries and rice here which was decent! A bit on the salty side and the steak isn't the most tender but the flavor was amazing! Instagram Worthy (4/5): Cute restaurant with some outdoor seating and a big indoor area. Otherwise all their plates and accents are very cute! Service (4/5): Kind of slow at first because we had a huge party of 20+ folks come in as a walk in. I explained to them that we need to be out at a certain time and they did get all the food out in a timelymanner because of it. Takeaways: Not the best to host parties over 10+ people as you won't be able to sit together.
