Miko's Calitalia

Miko's Calitalia is new to the food hall. Their pizzas and pastas called out to me and I heard them!My family and I shared a few slices. *Sicilian of the day - A variation of mutti tomatoes - grande mozzarella - hobb's italian sausage - scallions - pepperoni - calabrian chiles - foccacia (4/5). The foccacia was crispy and crunchy. This had a calabrian chiles so my wife couldn't eat it.*Pepperoni Pizza: mutti tomatoes - grande mozzarella - ezzo supreme pepperoni (4/5). It had that cup and crisp pepperoni which was not too salty but the right amount.*Cheese Pizza: mutti tomatoes - grande mozzarella (3.5/5).I enjoyed the crust on each slice of pizza. It was crisp and had that nice crunch when you have a doughy thicker crust pizza. If you like that, which I do!The service was nice and friendly. Order via the kiosk.

My husband LOVES pizza. We decided to come here for lunch and he was so excited to have their SICILIAN pizza. We arrived around opening time and they didn't offer slices or their Sicilian (have to order ahead of time). What a bummer. We ended up ordering an entire pie (had to wait). Do like that it was covered with pepperoni. We noticed that due to the fact that they didn't have slices ready even after 45 mins after opening.

Miko's replaced Bibbo's at State Street, and a friend got a Sicilian pie and a NY pie for us to share. For the Sicilian, you have to order 72 hours ahead. Texture was pretty good. The New York style margherita was generous on the cheese, which was nice, and the crust was thin but held up. I'm glad to still have a pizza and pasta option at State Street.

Miko's has fresh ingredients and does a wonderful job blending California and Italian cuisine. I tried one of their pizzas with thick crust, prosciutto, and a few different cheeses. It reminded me of a focaccia loaded with pizza toppings! While tasty, it wasn't my favorite. I'm a thin crust girly so would probably order something else next time. But, they offer a lot of options so I'll be back!

I'm sorry but watery sauce on the mushroom/truffle pasta, under seasoned. The station is unmanned most of the time and I got my food by the time others in my group wrapped up, and it wasn't worth the wait. The ingredients are GOOD, there was real black truffle just very poorly executed.

Umm am I allowed to say best pizza in Los Altos?! I mean... that first bite-oh, it's amazing! The crust is like a fluffy cloud and the marinara sauce isn't overpowering but is so delicious. Then you get a mouth full of cheese that is so yummy and fresh tasting! This is no mere pie of oven baked cheese and bread. Honestly I have tried both types of pizza they offer so far the square cut crunchy slices and the round whole pizza that is fluffy. Both amazing options that you can't go wrong with. I am excited to see and taste what else they have to offer! Also the staff is so friendly and actually try to converse with you if you are interested in that! A welcome addition to the State Street Market!

The pizza is really good. Crispy thin crust. Wish they had more topping options.State of mind is grabbing all the business but this place is worth a visit. Hope they do well.

Straight marinara with no seasoning for pizza sauce so pizza tasted so bland. Very disappointed.

One of the best pizzas I've had! The crust is very good, nice and chewy! Was able to try all the flavors and none of them dissapointed, but my favorite was the Miko! All ingredients tasted really fresh. Would highly recommend this new pizza joint!

We wanted slices, but it turns out there are only 3 different ones available, and they only actually had one of those. OK, we'll get a 12". Well, they didn't have that. It was Saturday only 1/2 hour after opening. All they sell is Pizza, and they don't have one of their 2 sizes??? Something is very wrong here.So we went ahead with the larger size in the BBQ Brisket. I'm sorry to report it was quite disappointing. The BBQ sauce flavor overpowered any other flavor. All we could taste was sweet and vinegar. I normally love jalapenos on pizza but these were just super hot with no detectable flavor. Couldn't taste the meat, either, and maybe there was cheese. The good news is whatever kind of crust you like you'll get since it was thin and soggy in the middle and thick and stiff at the edges. There was no flavor to the crust; it was like a very plain cracker. Maybe the other pizzas are better.There are very few drink options, but other stores in the court have them.Of course, the payment system asks for a tip when you haven't received any actual service (unless you count the clerk telling you what you can't have).State of Mind just a few steps away is a much better choice.
