Had a positive experience here. Decor was nice and the service was wonderful. We never went without an empty glass of water. Was a very small and crowded space, but it works. Ordered the Yellow Curry, Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, and Thai Fried Rice. This fed 5 people, and was very affordable. Portions were good, one dish can feed 1-2.The best dishes we had were the Pad See Ew and Pad Thai. Both very distinctly flavorful. The Yellow Curry and Thai Fried Rice were okay. They were over-salted, but still had flavor. Overall, I had a good time, but the crowded and loud ambiance might not be for everyone.

I recently tried this little Thai spot, and while it's a small place with just decent decor, the food really impressed me! The ambiance is simple, so it's more of a casual dining experience. Unfortunately, the staff wasn't very friendly, and the service was slow--even with the restaurant nearly empty--but the food more than made up for it.We ordered the papaya salad, yellow curry, and pad kee mao (drunken noodles). The papaya salad was super spicy--maybe a bit too much--but the flavors were on point, with that perfect blend of tangy and fresh. The yellow curry was rich and comforting, and the pad kee mao was packed with flavor and just the right level of heat.If you're looking for a no-frills spot with great Thai flavors, this place is worth a visit. Just be ready for some serious spice!

I remember loving Marnee Thai in their other location way back when, so it was so nice to discover this location and enjoy the fond memories of good neighborhood Thai food.Loved the following paired with sticky rice and a side of green curry:Hor Pak - steamed fish with banana sunchokes wrapped and steamed in a bamboo leaf (seasonal)Pumpkin curry with chicken - opted for the mild yellow curry & it warmed the tummyService was attentive and staff were kind. Our water was always filled. I also liked that there was good sound proofing to enjoy conversations with your company. Try the table chili - tasted freshly made and not too spicy with a garlic lime kick.

It's been a while since I've eaten at Marnee Thai in person as we always get take out, but we had guests visiting. We were able to get a table for 4 fairly quickly without any reservation. We ordered our favorite angel wings and pad Thai but this time tried the coconut noodles which was surprising and tasty, and a pork belly special to go with the white rice. I usually love their green chicken curry, but didn't order it on this visit. As always, everything was fresh and delicious, and dining in meant the angel wings were perfectly hot and crispy. Spice levels were mild and manageable but you can request to level this up if you want. Wish I had room for their mango sticky rice, but there's always next time.

We mostly get takeout from here and we love it. A cut above many Thai restaurants in San Francisco.

Inner Sunset's go-to Thai spot, Marnee Thai delivers authentic Thai food for decades since my boss Tim raved about her. With nice Thai wall art, this space's interior is more worn than the one on Irving Street, but more lively with a young crowd. The service is cordial and efficient. We had Tom Yum Soup with plump juicy shrimp, Duck curry, Papaya salad, Chicken satay, rice, and Thai iced tea. Depending how well you can take spice, it's best to let them know if you can't. Watch out for the little red peppers, because biting into one of them will numb your mouth and tongue!

Decided to pop in for an early dinner after an afternoon at the de young - cute little place, bustling with lively energy. Promptly seated upon walk in, extensive menu & daily specials. We went with the corn fritter cakes w cucumber salad - divine! And mains of Thai fried rice with chicken and a yellow pumpkin curry as I can't resist pumpkin curry! It was all really delish - good iced Thai tea & Thai beer. Generous portions - I'll definitely be back again to try more tempting items on the menu!

**reviewed special dishes**This is a cozy and delicious Thai restaurant. We went for the recommended special items rather than picking reliable Thai fare. However based on how yummy the specials were I'm sure the tried and trues are just as delicious. We ordered the corn cakes, veggies with tofu (the name evades me but is similar to celery stalks with spinach tops), and a fish dish!

I attended an evening event at the California Academy of Sciences & originally wanted to come here in the evening, but they close at 8:30 and we were not allowed to leave and come back. My friend suggested having delivery to the museum. I asked the museum staff that was possible and they said it could be delivered to the door. I ordered via Uber eats with specific instructions for the delivery person and it worked out. I got two of my favorites which are shrimp, pad, Thai and angel wings. I really wanted the coconut, sticky rice with mango for dessert, but it wasn't available for delivery. Our food was piping hot when we received it. This restaurant location is very close to Golden Gate Park, which helped. The Pad Thai was as delicious as I remember. The angel wings were nice and crispy in a spiced honey glaze. The angel wings are available to order as mild, medium or hot, and I chose mild because I have a dainty palette. I'm looking forward to my next in person dining experience at this location.
