One of the older asian supermarkets left in the peninsula. Inside, the floors are pretty beat, but my auntie likes to go here and check out the fresh fish and seafood they have. On what feels like a daily.I like to get my favorite chips and longanisa here. Parking is always a pain, but you get used to it.Staff here is no nonsense, ring you up and pay. Make sure to hold on to your receipt because they check it right before you leave.

Overall, this is a solid choice for a grocery store in the area. Prices for fruit are definitely cheaper than I've seen at Pacific and 99 Ranch, but veggie prices are largely similar to other Asian grocery stores. I've had decent luck with their discount shelf but definitely check and be careful if you purchase from there. This place is old and a bit dingy, but not as dirty as other reviews make it seem. I did see a very large rat my first time here lol. Fruit and veggie quality is average to good, but you do need to check as some items are on their way out.Service is as expected - not friendly but not rude. Just get in and get out kinda place. Receipt checking is annoying and over the top though, who do they think they are? It's just a grocery store.

I use to go here alot when I was attending San Francisco State University. This was the place to do grocery shopping before Seafood City.The parking lot is small. If you drive a van you may not be able to park in their space. Inside the store is decent. They still have live crabs to buy. Plenty of products in stock.

Great Food and Products... Produce & Seafood..., Chicken & Meat... Prices are very good for the food you buy. I have been coming here for 35 years now. The products are fresh produce and Fresh Meat and Super Fresh Seafood. Honestly the best thing about this place is Great Food and Excellent Quality Products and Food Products at Great Prices..! Come and visit this Market and enjoy all they have to offer!

Saturday, 8/31/24. Went here right before they open when staff came out and told us that they are running late in opening the store. 35 mins. later, another staff came out and said that they might stay closed for the rest of the day due to a RAT INFESTATION and it would take them a while to clean-up the feces and discard the items. GROSS!!!!

I go here to buy products I can't find at Ranch or other markets. Usually for my elderly mom who can't get out anymore. My main issue is no one speaks English. I ask for help in finding a product and they all look at me as if I'm speaking a foreign language. The guy sitting on a stool asking to check my receipt is rude and ignorant. I just walk by and ignore him now. This isn't Costco where you have to comply as a member. The fruits they sell prepackaged are usually rotten on the underside where you don't see it until you bring it home. Be careful. Don't buy these. The best part are the new shopping carts. They all roll and are clean now. They are cheaper than Ranch and in my neighborhood. The staff needs to be nicer. They look as if they hate their jobs and hate being there. No union I take it?Just my two cents worth. Thank you.

My first ever visit here (April 3, 2024) and I had a weird interaction. Went in to purchase a single container of Mitchell's ice cream and as I was walking out a "Security" type guy basically barked at me to provide a receipt proof of purchase. Yikes!! I was taken aback because I only bought a single item. There were only a few people checking out and he can see everyone from his seat. The receipt was in bag. There's really no need for such rude suspicion.

I had been having a good experience with this supermarket until they changed the system and has a person ( tall man) who checked the receipt at the exit. This person is very rude and has ZERO customer service mind. There was time he pull someone backpack without asking nicely to check! I do understand that they probably experience problem with stolen goods and try to find a way to prevent, however, it doesn't mean they can treat their customers disrespectfully like this or randomly accusing people of stealing without having any evidences.

My wife came in today kinda in a hurry so must have forgot that the guy should check the receipt thats totally fine theyre doing their job but atleast be nice on approaching the customers, he shouted his heart out leaving my wife stunned and embarrased with other customers looking at her as if she was stealing. Very rude!

I went here to buy some stuff. As you entered the store, there's a stinky smell everywhere. The store is dirty and their shopping carts are sticky and gross.I need to wear masks to avoid the bad smell. Their staff here are all rude. Nobody is smiling and they treat their customers like a thief. I'm not going back in here.
