Its fun doin a review on a place that rarely gets attention. Especially a corner store. Got a really incredible sandwich. Light salami and turkey with provolone on toasted soft roll. Okay this hit the spot. Not only did the guy behind the counter recommend the cheese and suggested it be toasted he cut the salami fresh right in front of my eyes. I'm gonna say with confidence this corner store has the best sandos in the North Beach area. $12 btw sweeet !! Thank u Lombard Heights Market Where have you been all my life :)

It's your typical neighborhood old school corner store. I came in to buy some lottery tickets hoping to get lucky. They offer plenty of products that will please any customer.

They are not open when they say they are. I was extremely sick with the flu and needed Tylenol. Went once at 7:30 then I waited until even 8am to go again and they were still closed. I was even willing to pay double price for everything, as one does at corner stores, but no. Avoid this scam

Check your item total and check it again. One of the men behind the counter has tried to overcharge me on a few different trips. Acts like it's an accident each time. Also bought rotten, expired food (pickles, carrots, crackers) on multiple occasions. Avoid this place when other great local shops are nearby.

It's my neighborhood liquor store, it's convenient and only a hundred feet away from my apartment. Locals and tourist go here :-)!The two guys that work here are very nice and down to earth. From soy milk to beers, to wines to the hard stuff, they've got it all. They also make fresh deli sandwiches, have a few vegetables stands outside, eggs, basic necessities and more! I like that the beers are always fully stocked -- there's always some 6-pack on sale... usually a beer I like to drink so I'm really lucky (from Full Sail to Pyramid Hefeweizen)!

Perfect go-to neighborhood corner store. This places has everything you'd need to stock up before a weekend of watching football on the couch.

As far as corner stores go, this is a choice one. Prime real estate, if you will. They have a great wine selection, ground coffee, and deli sandwiches that aren't completely scary. In addition to the sundry items common to all other convenience stores. Nice guys, too. Makes me feel like I'm movin' on up.

There are two owners. Both are gruff and might overcharge you. One of them Chain Smokes as he makes sandwiches and the other one doesn't.

Uh no. Seriously, no. I came here after running with 4 friends and we both decided to buy some water here. The water here was $2.50 and it was not even 1 liters and they charge $2.50. Seriously, this place is a rip off. I also bought a roast beef sandwich here and the worker there gave me attitude when I told him to toast my sandwich. The sandwich tasted bland and didn't taste anything near to fresh. Overall, my experience here was a Grade F experience. I ended up buying the water because I was thirsty after running. If it wasn't a emergency, I wouldn't even be coming to this store. Would I come back? No thanks.
