I wish I lived closer to here because the food was SO good! I came on a Sunday late morning with my brother and this place was PACKED. We waited for a while and got seated outside (nice day). The Turkish breakfast was stellar and a must-get -- quite comparable to Troya's set, but at a better price point. I loved the nuttiness of the spreads, the olives were tasty, the honey and cream was delightful, and so nicely balanced with the tomatos/cucumbers. Also the sujuk in the scrambled eggs is brilliant -- savory and creamy. We also got a grilled chicken sandwich, which had a nice tzatziki sauce, tender chicken, and crispy potatoes. We also got orange juice and Turkish coffee which were perfect complements. Plenty of food for two and we left super satisfied. The only downside was that it was so busy that the food took a relatively long time to come out. But I'd say if you're having a lazy Sunday, it's worth it.

This should be listed as a vegetarian with Turkish tinge restaurant. Add, a few sample amounts of meat.. Environment is warm and close nit. Service made a mistake on order, but I'd still say attentive and responsive.Only problem... overall food very average. We ordered a assortment of small plates: serrano chilies with yogurt, potatoes and olives, calamari, cheese and honey on pita, lamb &beef (a few baby sized patties), garbanza beans and stuffed eggplant. Many small dishes of "eh"... not bad, not noteworthy. Except the eggplant... the rice on that dish was pure foul! Tasted like toilet water... strong taste of OMG... Done! Future pass. I'm giving this restaurant 3 start for average, but the eggplant dish took it to a 2 star rating for me. Disappointing experience for me, as I normally love mediterranean / Turkish food. Future PASS

Came here for lunch today and had a great time! Wait for two was around 20 minutes, but went by really quick. We sat at a bar top facing the window, with surprisingly a lot of space in the otherwise packed restaurant. Got the Greek Yogurt Pancakes, which looked straight out of a cookbook, light fully perfectly portioned with berries and the yogurt sauce. I ordered the Menemen, which I was a little hesitant about at first based on the description, but IT WAS SO GOOD. An insane amount of flavor packed into every bite. Tip: order it with the beef bacon and mix it together. Highly recommend and will be coming here any time we are in SF!

Lokma is a super yummy spot in the outer richmond. I will say, even though its a bit out of the wya, somehow there's a really long line, so definitely recommend making a reservation or signing up on the waitlist. We got the platter for two people (subbing meat for potatoes), and a side of the greek yogurt pancakes. Honestly the dairy here goes SO hard, it's so tangy and delicious and the honey wasn't too sweet / realllllly nutty. Highly recommend it to anyone

My friend treated me to Lokma for my birthday. I thought the food was just OK. The burger and the pita and spread were my favorite. The chicken on a plate of rice was bland and tasted like your typical tech company food. Service was a bit slow on a Tuesday. The restaurant is decorated nicely and gave a homey vibe. I know my husbands been wanting to try this spot so will give it another chance another time.

The restaurant is not too small or very big, so making a reservation online can help. The food was a bit pricey but delicious:- Bal & Kaymak (honey, clotted cream, and pita, $8)- Turlu & Cous Cous (Turkish ratatouille, pearl couscous, $23)- Karniyarik (eggplant and saffron rice, $25)- Branzino (fish, $35)The ones I enjoyed the most were the branzino and pita bread. The branzino was cooked really well, soft and flaky. The pita paired well with the clotted cream and honey, creamy and sweet.

I heard Lokma was a great brunch spot but we opted to try the dinner. We started with the trio of dips then ordered the burger, short ribs, and Manti (Turkish dumplings). The trio was worth every bite. The pita is house made and soft, pillowy, and perfect with the dips. The burger and short ribs were pretty standard and potatoes with the burger, extra crispy. The Manti was pretty good and very filling. For dessert we ordered the trilece and revani. My friends loved the trilece which was rich and decadent. The revani was pretty standard coconut cake. Atmosphere and service were on point. Overall. Great dinner. Will probably try brunch next time.

Hands down my absolute favorite brunch spot in San Fran, if you're passing by the outer sunset/golden gate park area or happen to be around the beach, you definitely have to try Lokma for brunch. My friend and I went here and we had a Turkish coffee, Turkish Breakfast for Two (we replaced the sausage with potatoes) and a Greek yogurt pancake on the side. This breakfast was amazing. My favorite was the Turkish platter which had incredibly high quality sweet cheese, buttery eggs, soft pita, addicting hazelnut butter, flavorful muhmmara, and fresh fruits. I will think about this platter in my sleep and was definitely still thinking about it on the drive home. This platter has everything you'd ever want in a brunch. The Greek yogurt pancake and potatoes were also delicious. The pancake had a blueberry compote that was flavorful and not overly sweet. Lokma is not to be missed! You definitely have to come here if you're a fan of Turkish breakfast!

It was my first time dining at Lokma with my family. It was a classic SF rainy night and we were immediately greeted by the friendly staff. The service was fantastic and attentive. My family and I enjoyed our meal here in this super cute and intimate setting. There are only a few tables inside, so make reservations in advance if you prefer indoor seating. There's also outdoor seating with heaters! The stand outs of the night were the mushroom soup and the short rib. Would get again. This place is a cozy neighborhood spot and we'll be visiting again!
