Brought my daughter in law here, who grew up in Singapore. It took her back to her childhood. Will definitely come back when I return to the Bay Area

The beef rendang was very well-seasoned. The sauce would be perfect mixed with rice, but I swapped for a side of salad. The Mie Tek Tek was cooked with slightly thicker noodles, and the tomato broth was a great balance of sweet and savory. I preferred the laksa noodles more because the noodles were thinner. This is a small restaurant that felt very cozy. The owner was friendly and would chat with his costumers. Roti was given to us on the house and the curry dipping sauce was rich and incredible. I would order this next time I come!

We have been customers at this location over the years and usually order the same favorite dishes: beef rendang , always tender and delicious beef cubes, and the nasi goreng fried rice with chicken or shrimp, usually wonderfully flavored as well. This time it was made way too spicy with too much red pepper bits and I couldn't enjoy it. I mentioned this to the waiter and the owner/cook? came over and apologized and offered to fix it and he made me another order. He said he was having an off day. And he was short staffed. In his defense, we were also having a heatwave. He did the right thing and remade the order better balanced and free of charge. We will continue to be loyal customers. This is a great neighborhood restaurant and should be supported.

Small hole-in-the-wall with excellent food. My friend and I ordered dishes that were flavorful and perfect for a cold winter day. I would definitely go back to try their other dishes. Please support this local SF business!

Lime Tree in the Inner Richmond serves up mouthwatering Indonesian dishes like Roti Pratha, Pepe's Salmon, awesome Indonesian-style Chicken Wings, Beef Rendang, Nasi Goreng with chicken, and Gado-Gado. While the food is top-notch, it's the exceptional service from owner Ming that truly elevates the experience. The warm, comfortable ambience, with its lime green accents and Southeast Asian touches, makes for a welcoming dining spot. A must-visit for both great food and outstanding hospitality.

I got take out the other day and had been quite awhile since I'd been here. It's still delicious and happy to try it again. I got the curry noodles with chicken. It was flavorful, filling, and good texture of the noodles. Inside is no frills or fancy. Staff is friendly. Ive also tried the beef, platha, chicken satay, rice, soup. It's all good. Some of the food items always seem to be crossed out and have never tried but still happy to come back again.

There are not too many Malaysian restaurants around so this was a must try for me since I like to try different types of Asian food. This place does not disappoint. I have been here twice and the most recent time was with my dad and son. We all liked the food so that was a big win since the little boy can sometimes be hard to please. The dining area is spacious with high ceilings and nicely lit. The service was not over friendly but fine and the food came out hot and fast which was most important. We sat a table near the window with pillows on a bench which was ok but I would have preferred regular chairs for better comfort for my butt and back but that is minor. The food itself was very yummy, full of flavor and recommended. This is what we ordered:Hainese flavored rice (great flavor and you get a lot)Sambal udang (very large shrimp)Char kway teow (my son and I love flat rice noodles)Laksa (must try popular Malay dish)We had leftovers and those were quickly eaten the next day. Give this place a try!

My friends told me about Lime Tree so I had to try it as well! The restaurant is located on Irving street but a few blocks down from the busiest streets of Irving so the place gives a more homey and quieter ambiance. I called over the phone to place an order for pickup, and my order was ready within 10-15 minutes. When I got there, the pick up was very smooth and service was great! Items ordered: - Singaporean curry noodles with chicken - One of their signature dishes and it did not disappoint! The flavor was great, a little bit salty but still very satisfying and had a homey taste to it. Loved the chicken and mushroom included in the dish too. - Basil Tofu - Also a great dish that was delicious! I liked how much tofu, vegetables, and mushroom were given in the dish. If you are on Irving street, definitely check out LimeTree for a quick and satisfying meal!
