Very fresh seafood and lots to choose from. The workers here aren't exactly trained for customer service, but you don't come to a Chinatown wet market for that. You're here for the seafood!Contacted these guys multiple times via phone for a King Crab. Once they got them in, I was notified and my colleague picked it up in the morning. This crab was alive and kicking! Even flipping it upside down, that thing flipped himself right back over!Anyways, if you want a decent selection of good seafood, stop by Liang's. Oh yea, and make sure you have cash in hand; that's all they accept.

Stopped by last week, heard good things but not my experience. The smell was horrific, there was dead fish, turtles and frogs laying around in the back. I'm not sure how this place passes any sanitation checks not being humane.

This place will try to scam you if you don't double check what they select for you. Don't let them bully you or better yet, go to any of the other seafood markets in this area for better selection and service. Never shopping for seafood here again.

This place has some of the freshest seafood in San Francisco. Plus it's in expensive as well!I come here for the live lobster and the live crab. I have also bought their clams before and made some of the best homemade Clam Chowder with them! They also have tons of different types of fish (as well as live frogs and live turtles).Minus 1 star from me because like most stores in Chinatown, all their signs are in Chinese. This makes it hard for someone, like me, to figure out what the prices are or what the type of fish is. This place is also cash only!

Live fish, crustaceans and other animals, such as turtles and sea snails. Don't bring your kind hearted friends here. It isn't a pet shop - it's what for dinner. Excellent prices on live Maine lobster. Good availability of live shrimp for gumbo. Not a lot of questions answered. No info on sources. A couple of door's down from Luen Fat Market, so you can check back and forth and see who has the best selection that day.

This market is doing a dishonest business. Yesterday, I bought 2 geoducks at this market, which is supposed to be alive since it was keeping in a water tank. It cost me $75.36, for $19.99 per pounds. Because it was my first time to buy geoducks, I don't know how to select them so I keep asking the man working at this market (who picked the geoducks for me) if the geoducks are still alive. After many times the store man answering "yes, they are alive", I felt convincing to buy those geoducks . However, when I got home, one of them was rotten dead. The muscle attaching to inside its shell was no longer attached, after I took off a robber band tie-up 2 shells. It's flesh has a green yellowish color and strong stinky smell when I open up 2 outer shells. I threw it away since I bought those at the end of the day, which was the closing time of this market. I was so upset not because I lost more than half of the money I paid but also we don't have enough food as I planned.Dishonest in business is not a long term gaining customers. More than 100% sure I will NEVER COME BACK TO THIS MARKET AGAIN
