Very cozy mom & pop breakfast & sandwich place! I ordered their turkey avocado melted sandwich and it was delicious! I rarely get sandwiches because I don't typically like them, but this was soo good. Everything was well portioned and prepared. The garlic pesto is such a nice touch! Service was quick, I think I got everything within 5 minutes. They're also laptop friendly on the weekends which is nice. I was originally going to eat/station at pluckys down the street but saw how they don't allow laptops on weekends. So glad it turned out this way! Also the large latte is the size of a bowl! Super happy!

Overall 3.75 stars:A small cafe situated in downtown Burlingame. A 10 minute walk to most hotels located on Broadway. Limited pastries but have a decent selection of breakfast sandwich and coffee options.Limited seating inside and outside , about 4 tables per location. It is more a pick up and go cafe. However I sat down to have my breakfast on an early Sunday morning.3.5 Service - staff were friendly. Might be family own and operated. Because each item is made fresh, took about 12 minutes for my sandwhich and coffee.3.75 Stars - I ordered a Deluxe Hot croissant sandwich. It had a fried egg, cheddar cheese, spinach, mushrooms and ham. The sandwich was good and hot. Evened though the croissant was flatten to encased the ingredients, it was a perfect way to hold the sandwich. I added hot sauce to enhance the flavor. The sautéed mushrooms and fresh spinach gave the other items a more balanced flavor. You know "fried egg meets fresh spinach" means healthy w a side of naughtiness. 3.5 Stars - Coffee - a medium Cappuccino. Coffee was good but I prefer my coffee stronger flavor. I forgot to order a shot of Espresso. I recommend this cafe for a light breakfast meal.

Nice little mom and pop bakery. The owner is nice, and friendly. Cozy shop inside. Seems like fresh baked good each day. I got an almond filled croissant to heat up. They put it in a panini press to heat up. I unfortunately, it didn't heat up the croissant but instead it pressed it down. Losing that fluffy crispy-ness of a croissant. The taste though is pretty good. Not too sweet. House coffee is not bad either. Wish the would get a toaster to warm up the baked goods, instead of smooshing it in a panini press. There are tables to sit outside which is nice.

My first time here . I ordered to go regular croissant, almond croissants. The price is fair but it is not what I expected. Croissants here are delivered daily according to the owner from a different bakery. There is one female prepping the order and the owner. So only two employees in a small space. Their regular croissants were not shiny, not crispy and not flaky but soft. I would pay more for the quality and for real Croissants. I am still trying to assess the black stuff on my egg that I did not eat and removed from the Croissanwich. I was not a happy camper eating their Croissant. I will not go back.

Absolutely delicious little turkey pesto sandwich in a croissant! They gave lots of avocado (super fresh) and melted some ooey gooey pepper jack cheese in it with a few slices of tomato! There isn't much searing inside (4-5 tables) but there also a few outside the restaurant! Cute little breakfast spot in downtown Burlingame so there's plenty to walk around and see after! Would definitely come again to try their other sandwiches!

I ordered takeout at Le Croissant Cafe recently which has been part of Broadway Burlingame for decades and it certainly feels old fashioned, but also has homey/cozy type of feeling. Burlingame has no shortage of coffee shops like this one and it was not bad at all. Can't really speak on their drinks because I only ordered their sandwich and didn't experience much customer service wise other than getting my box of food handed to me. When it comes to the food I thought it was above average. Nothing that blows you away, but the ingredients were fresh and tasty. I got the Prosciutto Sandwich ($13.99). Which came with Prosciutto (obviously), tomatoes, spinach, mozzarella cheese, and garlic pesto. They also let you choose your type of bread or croissant. Yes croissant is in the name of this store, but I opted for their lightly toasted wheat bread because I wasn't in the mood for something super buttery. A big plus is that the box also came with potato chips and half an orange sliced up. Some places that sell sandwiches just give you a side of air instead. The ingredients were fresh and the garlic pesto carried the flavor of the sandwich. It was a good satisfying sandwich flavor wise although it doesn't leave you too full either. My rating is more like a 3.5 than a full 4 stars if I'm being honest, but I also didn't get the full experience here. There's also a parking lot next behind the store that is paid parking, but usually is easy to find a spot. Parking is free after 6pm, but it's pointless when it comes to this store because they close at 3pm on weekdays and 2pm on weekends. So hopefully the person who parked before you still has time on their meter! I'd consider coming back here again, but Broadway Burlingame definitely has a lot of great options food wise.

Love this coffee shop. It is family owned. Seems many are regular. The owner is nice. It is a small shop which serves coffee, pastries and regular american breakfast like egg and sandwich. It has indoor and outdoor seating. We ordered almond croissants and ice and hot latte. Price is reasonable and it is cheaper than other coffee shops. The croissant is yummy and fluffy. The latte is good and light. Will visit again and try the sandwiches. It is a good place for breakfast and brunch.

I was expecting a little bit more from a burrito though. I would definitely recommend if you're looking for a smaller breakfast. Also the cleanliness wasn't there for me. There were crumbs from previous guests on each of the table, and the coffee bar supplies were not refilled.

This was a fresh breakfast. It had eggs with mushrooms, tomatoes, spinach and cheese with wheat toast. It all was very fresh but there seemed something missing. It was just very plain in flavor. I wish it had more seasoning or something to make it more unique. I added salt and pepper and that helped it somewhat.I still enjoyed it. Staff were nice and it's a nice chill café. I don't know if I'd go back but I might try their sandwiches.

We have been regulars at this cafe for about two years now. My children and I love their tasty croissant sandwiches and tuna salad sandwiches. They also love the teas.We dined there yesterday and I decided it's been long overdue to write a review. I was surprised to see some of the more critical reviews here. We also dine at both Mints and Honey and Foreigner in San Mateo and feel all the cafes have their own appeal. We have no complaints and love the atmosphere at Le Croissant Cafe. So perfect with the Olympics in France too! My family owned a family business and those who write critical reviews so easily with "elite" or non-elite status are unaware how it can make or break a small business. The owner and his wife (I think?) are such kind, hardworking people. We love supporting mom and pops shops...especially on Broadway. I was also surprised when we visited after a couple months and they remembered us. The owner takes the time to chat with people who are open to it. You get what energy you give. We are definitely satisfied regulars and look forward to our next visit.
