Got the Al pastor burrito. As someone who is not vegan, this was impressive and good! Service was quick and they give you a beeper when the food is ready so you can browse the other food shops around. It is located in saluhall so there are many options of foods. I would recommend this place. Food is very flavorful!

i had high hopes for this place based on the original La Venganza in Oakland but sadly the quality has gone downhill.half of the vegan meats (carnitas, al pastor, barbacoa) are made of marinated shredded mushroom, and i'm not a huge fan of the texture. the asada and chili roja are slightly better as they're seitan, but i'm not sure i can tell them apart. both mainly tasted salty and slightly burnt.the tacos are on the small side and come with onion, cilantro, and lime on double corn tortillas. for a meal you probably want at least 3.i will skip this place next time and just go to Taco Boys if i'm craving vegan tacos in SF.

I came here with my brother before a concert at the Warfield.Who needs Can-Cun when I can order everything on La Veganza's menu and not have to worry that it has meat or lard in it?I'm eventually going to try all the vegan "meats," but so far, I've only had an asada burrito. The seitan asada was a little bit dry, but I don't actually know what carne asada tastes like, so it might have been perfect. If this place were closer to my apartment, I would be getting the nachos and loaded fries on the regular. Maybe it's good that it requires a quick BART ride.It loses a star for being slightly pricey and for the tortilla on my burrito. It seemed a little bit stale, though nowhere near gross or even unappetizing.

We stopped in for a quick meal and we tried the mushroom burrito. I didn't even know it was mushroom that's how good it tasted. Also it was massive for the price so it really filled me up. Would def recommend if you are vegan.

A vegan taqueria! I don't eat beef so getting a vegan version of that makes me so happy!I believe the carne asada is made with seitan. It's very meaty and marinated well. I definitely do not miss the beef. For me, though, the carnitas outshines the asada. The carnitas are made with marinated mushrooms and are so delicious. I've had them in tacos and in nachos now. The flavors are reminiscent of real carnitas, and I don't feel heavy afterwards. I ate a full plate of nachos (that comes with vegan cheese btw) and I wasn't completely stuffed. Though, they definitely could have been shared. The tortillas were excellent and the nachos had a good spice to them. They didn't have frescas when I was there, but I hope they have them soon because they really would round out the savoriness of the dishes. Service has been friendly and quick. The first time I went was their second day, and the last time I went before the lunch rush. Both times my order came out quickly. The ambiance is really related towards Saluhall food hall, but I'll quickly say that there are plenty of tables and good music. Even though there's regular taquerias around my office, La Venganza is going to be the one I go to for delicious plant-based Mexican food.

Saluhall is a great spot to go before seeing a SF Broadway show. There are quite a few choices for vegans, but I chose to visit La Vengaza on my two visits to SF this winter (so far)! Although my family enjoys their vegan meats, it's not my thing so I ordered a bean and rice burrito that comes with pico de gallo and two salsas. The green salsa was delicious and I should have asked for another container to take home with the half of my burrito that I couldn't finish. The beans and rice were well-made. Unfortunately I didn't see the sign about horchata or else I would have ordered one of those. Next time. The person in front of me ordered a taco plate and it looked great. The service was quick and easy. There's lots of seating in Saluhall and we opted for a window seat. Even with a number of diners in the space the acoustics worked well and it never got too loud. I just wish that the SF La Vengaza had some of gingerbakesoakland delicious treats on the menu.

SERVICE- located on the second floor in saluhall on Market Street- park in nearby garages or on the street if you are able to find a spot- place order at counter and the cashier will call out your name when it is ready- food served very quicklyMENU- Mexican style fast food with choice of six protein options- all vegan - average price ($16 per entree)FOOD- nachos with barbacoa (8/10): chips piled with beans, house made queso, pico de gallo, salsa, avocado, and choice of protein. We chose the mushroom based barbacoa. The portion is generous and great for sharing between a few people. I liked how the toppings spread throughout the chips and were not all clustered on the top. The cheese sauce did not make the chips soggy which shows that it was freshly assembled. The barbacoa has a spicy kick so be careful if you are sensitive to spice. I would have liked more beans throughout the nachos as I felt they were lacking. WOULD I GO BACK? Yes! The food was tasty and the portion was a good value for the price

It was edible but man i had high expectations lol considering the reviews as well. I thought oh man im so hungry i need some tacos but even with my hunger it was edible but nothing really wow. We got tacos, burritos and nachos and it was all just..... oh. It was pretty empty too so we couldn't say "oh they were just busy. It's fine. We'll try again" the worker was nice and was trying his best to get more customers but idk... haha

Delicious tacos and burritos! I have been a Venganza supporter since the pop-up days starting in 2016 and I'm so happy to see sucursales in Oakland and SF! This location in Saluhall is great. Chef Raul personally took our order and my tacos were sooo flavorful! We also ordered a burrito, which was a hit. Serving sizes are very generous, and the salsa is really tasty as well. Our entrees paired well with a Jarritos mineragua. My non-vegan parents also really enjoyed their tacos and burritos. I highly recommend vegans and non-vegans try Venganza. You won't regret it!

Solid mexican vegan spot, I've gotten it a couple times and there isn't anything too great about the fake meats, a lot of them taste similar. The service was fine and the location is nice. I tried their horchata and it was good! 4/5.
