La Tortilla

Awful place. I just walked in and stood in line at the counter. Nobody acknowledged me so I kept moving closer to the cashier, not realizing I should be ordering at the counter. I'm standing by the cashier as another person is paying and the party behind me and a party walking in gets asked by the workers what they want. I literally just walked out and am looking to take my business elsewhere.

Came in here the day of Bay 2 Breakers in SF for a quick bite to eat, and it was surprisingly empty. They had a whole menu section for vegetarian options which I appreciated. Ordering was straightforward, though the lady making my burrito kept asking if I wanted anything else, and I read off what was listed on the board for the veg super burrito. Dude at the register was super nice and offered chips and salsa.Didn't know about the other reviews til after, but overall good experience for me!

This place has gone downhill. It used to be so good! Lines used to be out the door. They used to have a fresh salsa bar with different salsa options. Although chips and salsa are free, you need to ask them now. Before, you didn't need to ask. It was given to you. They closed half of the restaurant, so seating is limited. During my last visit, they ran out of a lot of main ingredients like carne asada, horchata, and mushrooms. When I asked for one additional salsa, the cashier said "I gave you 10" even though he only gave my friend 2 and gave me none. I told him that wasn't the case and he apologized. Then he tried to sell me big portions of salsa when I didn't need that much anymore since we were almost done with our meals. As I was talking, he was focused on counting his cash and was dismissive. Poor service. Oh forgot to mention that I was interacting with the owner. They should change management but until then, I'm never gonna come back here.

The portions are large but it is very expensive. The staff is not pleasant at all and were inconvenienced taking our order They basically rushed us out after ordering and while ordering, they were very rude about pricing and extra costs for additional toppings .Don't recommend . It was 55 dollars for 5 tacos .

Be careful when you go. The man behind the counter always underserves. Tasty food if you can taste it. But the man behind the counter make sure that doesn't happen. Adding 1 star but wish it could be less.If you go only, order from the women

This place is a scam. Ordered an Aztec burrito which should have come with avocado, salsa, and sour cream on top. They tried to pull a fast one and did not put any on top. I'll be disputing this charge. DO NOT GO HERE. SCAMMERS.

People, please. This is a taqueria on one of the most famous blocks in one of the most expensive cities in the world. It was very tasty taqueria food with great window seats looking right onto the Castro, for not a lot of money.I don't get people complaining about service? It's a taqueria? You order your food, there might be some back and forth communication clarification unless you speak Spanish, they make the food in front of you, you get the food. That's how it works. It was clean, the food that we had was fresh and had good flavor, and we got it fairly quickly. I was so happy sitting on stool seats with my family, looking out the wide open windows at beautiful people in a beautiful city with a warm foil-covered burrito in my hands.

Terrible customer service! I hinestly don't know how they are still open and why people still come here. Poor quality food and rude service and hygiene has left the chat. I do not recommend this place

I just picked my burrito at the place and the flavor is good and the staff are very friendly!

Service and ambiance was nice. The food however was extremely underwhelming. Bland and generic. I wouldn't have been able to taste the different between this burrito and one from Taco Bell.... And for $17/burrito it was certainly not worth the money. Ugh.
