Recommend coming to this grocery for your produce. Way cheaper than buying at Safeway. Sometimes tomato's aren't the best quality but for the most part they are! Plenty of parking in the back of Bank of America. We also come here for meats for Carne Asada's. If you buy over a certain amount they will gift you a piece of cheese or some crema.

The best thing that, I like about this La Loma Grocery Store is because it's close by my area... And the item's that I bought here would be Coca Cola, Inca Cola, & a Mini Size Barcardi Rum bottle... This La Loma Grocery store is very convenient for those people who live close by!!!

Convenient. Open late. Great to pick up Latin foods, and produce in a pinch.Service is great and patient. Note: Credit card transactions require $10 minimum. I bought some lemons for $5, and the lady at the counter was kind enough to let me find something else to fill the balance. Sparkling waters did it.Sparse organic produce. You can find almond milk to beans, spices to soda.Plastic bags are reusable. All employees wore masks and counter staff is behind a plexiglass. With the door always open for ventilation, I felt comfortable browsing the aisles.

I bought two things - Tamales and Cullinary Lavender. The Tamales were actually quite large and tasty...$2 each, I believe. After looking at reviews, I am slightly petrified that they had roaches on the walls next to the tamales ):... but extra protein never hurt anyone....Other than that, the lavender I bought was totally dried to a crisp, didn't have much lavender taste at all and seemed like alot alot of dried flower shells. Prob should have looked closer before buying but eh.May come back for the tamales if I'm ever in the area

As if prices are not already increased and way over marked here, this location of La Loma now charges 4% to ALL credit card/debit card transactions. I find this quit bothersome, and I am not doing business here anymore. I rather walk a few blocks to their other location that is cleaner, brighter, and does not charge an additional 4% to my purchases.

I always look forward to purchasing the hot food they sell in the back of the store! I recommend their $12.99 plate special with chopped chicken/bell peppers (sorry I don't know what the proper name is), refried beans, rice, and five tortillas. The portion is great. I would pass on the chopped beef/bell pepper dish though. A while before COVID, they also had fresh pozole and menudo (it was tasty!!) but I'm guessing their hot food selection will be more limited now. There was a significant language barrier but it still worked out fine, so give it a try if you're in the area! My car mechanic is right down the street so I always grab some snacks here while waiting for my oil change, etc. Try their concha bread and other baked goods too :) It's a treat whenever I get to visit.... they take credit card!!

Just came by to grab a cold brew to have with my lunch.Seems like there is a lot of stuff here. They have a lot of sodas, beer, fruit, deli meats, etc. The only concern is that everything seems clustered together. The shelves are all stacked to full capacity. Walking around the store is also a bit difficult because of the shape of the store. You almost have to zig zag through the store. They also have pastries that are located near the entrance. When I noticed in looking at the pastries is that they have CHURROS!!!! I forgot about my lost love, CHURRO! We go way back to the our first encounter at Great America, those were the days.......Anyway, I'll have to come back to better asses this place but it seems to be OK. I wouldn't buy anything else outside of the beverages, liquor, and maybe a few pastries. It is located on the corner so you can't miss it. However, parking in this part of Daly City can be HORRIBLE. There is street parking and residential parking but be careful that you don't block anyone's driveway. Expect to to circle if you plan on coming here. #passingthrough

This place is kind of like an extension of the La Loma mini markets you see along Mission St. It's probably five times the size of the La Loma #6 at Onodoga St and Mission about a mile away, and this one has a bigger selection of produce in addition to a whole slew of stuff the small one doesn't carry, for instance, the butcher in the back. For about $5.50 I picked up a fluffy head of red leaf lettuce (89 cents), three roma tomatoes, two mangoes and seven lemons (7/$1.00), and voila, I have most of my food taken care of for today: two salads, mangoes for an afternoon snack and dessert, and ample lemons for my lemon drop night cap.In these tough economic times, where I can't do the Earth any good because I can't afford to eat organic as much as I used to, I can happily shop here knowing I'm supporting a local neighborhood market because they have all of my needs, for less than at Lucky's, Safeway, or even Trader Joes charges.

I'm only leaving 1 star because that's the only option but don't even waste your time going to this unprofessional place !!! I went this morning to get birria and it was horrible not cooked trough and their answer was that it's because they added "Chile California" and they said they slow cooked it 6 hours prior but as you can tell on the picture it's not cooked at all! My husband even try to finish cooking it for us as we were going to give some to my son as well but it was still not cooked! It's still walking, it would be understandable if we went to s steak house and ordered a rare steak but we did not! Again don't waste your time!

DO NOT come to this la Loma. One of the cashiers treated my mom horribly just because she was buying a scratcher from them. They told her that she probably doesn't have a job and that's why she probably bought them. So rude and disrespectful.
