I have been to this place since I was a child. I'm 48! It originally used to be on Mission in the 80's. When I come back to SF, it's the one place I go to enjoy the taste of authentic Peruvian food. Not this new fusion Peruvian with small servings, this place hits all the right spots. The service reminds me of home, the music is traditional Peruvian folk music. Nothing fancy but the food is so delicious. Love this place so much and it has such a special place in my heart. I'm coming to SF for the new year and you know I will be there for sure.

Pretty quiet place, service was quick and vibes were good. I'm honestly not a fan of steak. I keep ordering steak and then wondering hm, why did i do that. but this steak was good. love me a heap of onions, so couldn't complain. plus, super super flavorful and one could say juicy (in a meat sense)

This is a small, family-owned restaurant. The food was delicious, and they made everything from scratch. The service was excellent. Prices were reasonable for the portions; if you are visiting SF, you should try this one out.

Haven't been back since before the pandemic. La Fina Estampa is one of my fave Peruvian spots. Thought I read somewhere that there was a change of ownership but not sure. Visited for lunch recently since we were in the area. Note if coming during lunchtime, they have a limited menu. The lunch prices are a bargain as the meal comes with bread, soup or salad, and entree. Only downside is other items not available so couldn't get my anticucho or Papa ala Huancaina fix. Hubs ordered the Lomo Saltado and I ordered the Tallarin de Carne. Good portion sizes and full of flavor. The chicken noodle soup was a good starter too. Servers were friendly and attentive. Food still as good as I remember.

Tasty food in a comfortable, quiet setting. I didn't know the place was still open after having moved from Van Ness a while ago. Friendly service and good food. Nice to see some smaller restaurants continuing to thrive post-pandemic. Lots of gluten free options too for those who need this as an option. The roasted chicken and the lomo saltado were on point
