Super tiny restaurant, with only a few tables. Though a pretty legit Peruvian menu. The dishes I tried were all great.Beef Empanada: Not huge, but filled with lots of nice meat chunks. The dough was crispy on the top and a little soggy on the bottom. A tad on the small side, but at least they give you a little salad too.Tallarin Saltado w/ Beef: It's lomo saltado, but with fettucine instead of fries and rice. The cuts of beef where thin and pounded, nicely marinated. Liked the zing of the partially cut red onions. Plus all the carbs in the noodles. Had some sauces on the side which jazzed it up.Aji di Gallina: Very creamy and very filling! Even considering there were a bunch of boiled potato rounds on the bottom making the chicken portion look bigger, it was still a lot to eat. Enjoyed all the spices and the heat tempered by the cream. Chicken was pulled nice and tender. Really great.Lucuma Ice Cream w/ Churros: Wanted a little ice cream, but was informed this came with churros now so that turned into a huge sundae. Loved the freshly fried warm churros under the cold ice cream. Still stayed a bit crunchy, even after sitting in the melted ice cream. Loved the ice cream too, a unique tropical flavor that's hard to describe except maybe a little like a papaya milkshake.Chicha Morada: Nice and sweet with some spices. Very refreshing after some of the spicier sauces.

Originally was going to Outta Sight pizza, saw that it was packed. Then went to check out Subway, also packed. Have no idea why people aren't going to Kiwicha for lunch. I ordered the lomo saltado, everything about it was delicious. Try this place out!

Kiwicha's Seco De Carne has an amazing flavor, super filling & their customer service is great! Check them out if you're in the area

I placed an online pickup order. When I arrived for pickup, I was told that the restaurant's name and menu had changed and that the item I ordered was not available. I emailed the address ([email protected]) listed on the website (https://kiwicha-llc.square.site/) linked at the bottom of my receipt to request that the charge be canceled. I have yet to receive a response. I also called the phone number listed on the site (415-424-1942), which appears to be out of service. I suppose it's possible that the site is just a scam entirely unaffiliated with the restaurant's ownership, but that's not the impression I received from my conversation at the store. And I would hope that Square would do a better job verifying businesses that use Square for payment processing and take orders through .square.site -- though when I called Square, I was told to take it up with the business (not working!) or my credit card company.Regardless, I'll obviously never order online from this restaurant again.

Got the Seco de Carne to go and it was delicious. The food came out fast and the service was great

This restaurant is a hidden gem in the heart of the city near Civic Center area, great food!

The service was great, truly an Oasis in the heart of San Francisco. Delicious food is just like in Peru.
