King Eggroll Express

Unfortunately they were sold out of sandwiches and a handful of other items on a Friday afternoon. Came mostly for the eggrolls so it wasn't a huge deal. I got an eggroll, fried shrimp ball, and a fried chicken wing. Prices are affordable and food is pretty good for the price. Solid spot for eggrolls and I'd definitely get a catering tray of eggrolls for parties in the future. A handful of tables inside for dining in.

We order often on doordash, and occasionally in-store. The food is always good and fresh and the quality is consistent. The people are really nice, but it's a small operation and hardly any people eat in the restaurant even though it's a large space.

I don't know what happened to this place but as of recently the staff is rude. Came by today around 2pm and the Asian lady just has a bad attitude. Last time we came to get some banana fritters and they wouldn't let us pay with Apple Pay unless it was more than $10. I'm fine with a processing fee but forcing someone to buy $10 for something that is around $4 is ridiculous. We usually buy party platters here and it's sad that they don't treat their customers well. I don't think I'll be back. I'll take my business elsewhere.*Zero stars!

King Eggroll Express opened where New King Roll Express was. Same infrastructure, same kind of food, new owners. No decor.Offerings: drinks, smoothies, bahn mi, dim sum, soups, salads, appetizers, chinese food scoop & go. Ordered at register. Food either scoop ready to go or made to order. Eats: grilled port bahn mi (7.50) ready in 8 minutes-Yuge baguette toasted filled with cilantro, cucumbers, daikon, carrot schreds, jalepeno slices, freshly grilled pork piecea.Yummy comfort food. Didn't taste pate. Spread too thin? Slightly buttery. Doubt it would travel well. Ate it all pronto. 4ish stars. Prepped food behind glass looked fresh..*service was quick, prompt, courteous. Place is still great, their entrees are excellent and love their chow mein. Egg rolls are still amazing as well

I'd imagine this place turns a lot of heads being that it has the former Dennys building structure. Located right off of the Calaveras exit, you can't miss it or it's decent sized parking lot. The interior is very basic and simple like with a typical Chinese counter/cafeteria ordering system. I came in with the expectation of getting some egg rolls to hold me over, maybe some pot stickers but the food looked good and worth trying. I'd be damned I was right. I got the fried rice, szechuen steak, mushroom chicken and a pork egg roll to get something part of my initial plan lol. The plate was heavy and full of flavor. The egg roll was great especially with the sauce they give you. Service was fast and to the point, not to mention the reasonable price for what you get. The young lady that helped me almost forgot to give me my soda but I reminded her and didn't let it bother me. I understand it was busy and she had her head in the game. I say this because I think everybody should be so understanding and not take things personally. I had a great experience here and glad I got in before the lunch rush!

Been going to King Egg roll since they first opened their Lundy Ave location back 25+ years ago. I was driving by the other day and stopped by this location on Calaveras.It wasn't very busy for a mid-Sunday afternoon. You place your order on the far right and move your way eventually over to the left to pay. I ordered 15 regular pork egg rolls and 5 vegetarian egg rolls. It was nice to see them have the vegetarian rolls available. In the past I've had to call in or wait for them to fry up a fresh batch of those. They are generous with the amount of sweet and sour sauce containers included with each order.The service was friendly, fast, and efficient. They have the whole ordering system down to a T.The place is pretty wide with dining tables on both sides. I believe this used to be a Denny's back in the day. You can see it in the architecture of the building.Getting out of the parking lot can be a challenge getting back onto Calaveras especially with the cars coming off 237.

So over many years I have enjoyed King Egg Roll beginning with the Berressa location, the one off of McLaughlin and in Milpitas. For some reason its name has changed (family feud?) and have a big grand opening sign. I don't care what it's called, best egg rolls on the planet! When you decide to bring your homemade 7 layer dip, your famous meatballs, or whatever to a pot luck and someone brings a tray from this place, you will LOSE! Got a few to munch on while our party tray was being made fresh. Great as usual and one in 10 minutes like they said.

2 stars because The pregnant lady was so nice. Then the cranky chubbier lady with thick glasses and long nail is so mean and rude. We don't ask questions about the food, she made us feel stupid for ordering. Which part of wonton soup do you not understand? If I wanted noodle, I would have asked for wonton noodle soup. If you don't want our business, then tell us so we don't waste each others time. We had a large order that costs over 200. So whispering in your mouth calling us annoying made you look unprofessional. At your age, you should have learned your manners by now. Especially you are in the service industry.
