Everything in the House Specials and Thai Set looked so enticing it was hard to choose what to order. The server enthusiastically recommended dishes she enjoyed while navigating an allergy in the group.Must Order: Tom Zaap Spare Rib, Coconut Green Salad, Southern Fried Chicken (but w/the sauce from the coconut dish)The Golden Pumpkin and River Prawns were just okay for me, although they did complement the meal overall. I would recommend the Golden Pumpkin if you've never tried pumpkin with egg before. The prawns did not have much meat.Overall it was a tasty meal and a nice departure from the sweet Americanized dishes you usually see on Thai menus.

Mussamun Curry Chicken with Jasmine Rice- A nice curry especially since it is one of their non spicy options. Still tastes amazing and good portion size with a side order of jasmine rice. Was able to take some home for another meal to enjoy all over again.Been here a couple times and love every bit of it. Went by myself this time but going with a group is great so you can try all their dishes. Keep in mind a lot of dishes are spicy by default and cannot change it. The parking lot is on the small side but you can park on the residential street if needed though usually I get lucky.One of my favorite Thai places in the bay and will always come here if I am in the area.

Located in a very small corner block. This unassuming restaurant host a wonderful Thai restaurant. Food was ok- 3/5. Very generous amount per serving. The veggies weren't as fresh where the cucumbers were pre-sliced. The chicken skewers was on the dry side. The pork fried rice was a bit salty for me. Parking isn't easy. Karakade is a much smaller Thai restaurant than what appears when looking at the restaurant from the outside. Only a handful of seats making this restaurant feel small, cozy, and somewhat intimate. The service was extremely friendly and helpful. Always checked in on us if we needed anything else. Even if there were more than 2 tables she was serving, I feel like the service wouldn't have dropped off much.Food was good. Pad Thai was good, but a bit too heavy on the vinegary flavor that I wasn't used to. Some may like that. Thai fried rice, chicken satay, and sweet sticky rice with mango were all excellent. Parking is limited as it's a small plaza with about 5 stores and maybe 10 parking spots. Karakade satisfied our Thai cravings :)

Walked in on saturday for lunch, we ordered the combo platter, pad thai + duck, tamarind shrimp, bbq pork plate. our favorite was the bbq pork, overall food was good and flavorful but it did take about 40 mins to start getting our food. service was good but there was only one waitress/host handling the entire restaurant. overall liked it but would only come back if i'm not in a hurry.

I was craving crispy pork one day and found this place. Located in a tiny plaza off woodside road, the restaurant was nicely decorated. Service was friendly, and it seems to be authentically worked by Thai people. The food itself didn't disappoint either, with generous portions and amazing taste. Since my first visit, I've returned again for the same thing, and my experience was equally great!

I had lunch at Karakade couple days ago. I found the restaurant on Yelps and decided to try since it is close my home. We ordered 3 dishes. I liked the Basil Rice with ground pork. It was a big portion, so two people could order it and share. The spicy eggplants with chicken were good and tasty, but the sauce was a little too sweet for my taste. The chicken curry was also good and the portion was big. We came around 1:30 pm, so the restaurant was empty and the service was very attentive. It is a small, but clean. I will come back there next time to try other dishes.
