That's exactly what I did.I spent about 10 min walking around before settling on a red wine from France's Bordeaux region, priced at $60. The variety can feel overwhelming, but you really can't go wrong, even with a $12 bottle, especially if you're not too picky.I figured if you were to ask a staff for help, their recommendations may lean toward personal preferences. So just grab whatever bottle you like and call it a day.Beyond wine, they also carry a solid range of hard liquors like whiskey, tequila, and more.

We had ordered some champagne that K&L has. We had not been to the store before and one nice thing being in SF is they have their own parking lot. Very handy. It is a pretty large place. I went in and let them know I was there to pick up an order. They put the information into the system and a staff person brought it out quickly. While waiting I walked around and they had a great selection of wines. Since I didn't wait long I didn't get to explore more. The staff helped bring the boxes out to our car which was great since it was pretty heavy.

This is a good place. They have a good selection of items of all types. We just got a very delicious port wine and it was great.

Our go to place for fun and delicious vino. Excellent selection, terrific staff who are helpful and exceptionally fair prices. Keep up the great work!

Best place in San Francisco for bulk wine sales. Their prices are the best in town as is their selection. I was a wine auctioneer many years ago and they were my go to for cases of wine. If they didn't have it, they usually can get it.

Everything I said in my previous review is absolutely valid. Again, if you live in their delivery area, it's a gift. extremely reasonable delivery fees and delivered by their own employees in their own trucks. Efficient and friendly. I live in a secured building and have had multiple instances of watching UPS and FedEx trucks drive by without stopping and then instantly getting a text that I wasn't home to receive the delivery. If you want to learn a ton about wine, experience great tastings, etc, go into the store BUT if you want access to the same great wine (and most of the knowledge!), check out their website. Prices range from very fair to massively discounted. t's addictive. On top of it all, when I've had to call, the phone is answered by a polite, knowledgeable human anxious to help. How does it get better? This is one business where I don't understand even the four star reviews tbh.

Please do not buy through this company. I just received my order of this incredible tequila I tried in Mexico. They were about 25% cheaper than total wine but once I paid the outrageous shipping charges through them it was fairly close. I received my order today and the bottles were half sized. Yes, I should have looked but a bottle of tequila in this tiny bottle? What a scam!!!

My number 1 wine shop in SF without a doubt. They have everything you are looking for in-store and online! Wine tastings are also available for folks interested in them. The staff inside the store are always open to answering any questions I have about wines or recommending me new ones. Special shout-out to Scotty who is the champagne expert at the store. This gentleman knows everything about champagne and always recommends the best. K&L also has a curbside option and I have always had a great experience with all of the operation members who have delivered my wine to my vehicle. You can also have wine delivered to your doorstep if you do not want to travel to the store. Thank you for your excellent service K&L!

Usually great in store service (Hollywood). Very good pricing on spirits and selection. The top end allocations don't make it down the food chain but if you're hunting for Blanton's, this is the place. Poor and condescending service on the phone today!
