Hospitality at it's finest. I needed change for a MUNI fare. Grabbed a bag of M&Ms because I was uncomfortable just asking for change. The person behind the counter was genuinely nice. I felt like I could run in there for help for any reason and feel taken care of. Just like the days of old.

I believe this convenience store has new owners since my last review (it's been awhile since I've popped in) - but it's just as magical of a spot. In fact - I believe they may have even doubled their inventory. Hard to believe - considering the intimate size of this gem - but I think the new owner has miraculously figured out a way to fill every corner of this store - right up to the ceiling.I couldn't believe how much exceptional finds they have throughout this small spot.From Humphrey Slocombe Ice-cream (both regular and dairy free), frozen pizza, fresh fruit, avocados, Lesser Evil Popcorn, alkaline water, CBD sparkling waters, a variety of Kombuchas, Wine, Cider, Beer, cat food, paper towels, blank shirts (perfect for late night art projects), batteries, Kratom tinctures, bobby pins, all of your medical emergency needs (medicine, antibiotic cream etc), retro posters, kettles, salsa, eggs... and so so so so much more - this place has you covered. And best part - they're conveniently located right by the Judah line and in a well lit area (for the street) - and they're open till 11. Yup till 11. The owner was so kind and eager to help. It truly makes my heart beam to see this store still open - and better than ever. I am a fan for life.Trust.

The guy who's holding the 49ers wine bottle in the picture doesn't know how to communicate with customers. I believe he's the owner. I came into this store last night with a family member and he was folding his arms, tapping a pen on the counter, and acting impatient while we shopped. Just to tell us 10 minutes later he was closing. Why didn't he inform us of that sooner? Then he was converting with this bum looking woman who called him cousin. Dude, you need to put your priorities in order.

My sister and family get there Lotto tickets here. They have won little pay outs. Not the big one yet but soon. We hope the place has stuff when you need it. Good luck

Best corner store in the neighborhood by a landslide. Well stocked and more importantly always staffed by the nicest people. It's not the closest corner store from my home, but I'll go out of my way to give them my business.

Varieties of Good items in cheap rate available. People are also very friendly. I feel very happy to be there.

Judah Ninth Avenue Liquors has all kinds of big bottles microbrews and six packs, all priced. (a little pricey, great selection for the area).sticker pricing on top of bottles takes time to read.brew: tecate (24 oz, 1.84)-fave mex brew, just to do lime and salt, no moredrips:-large selection of wines, beers, etc, slightly pricey.-noticed store associate walking towards my direction when i headed out towards the counter. checking on me, i guess.-chinese newspapers sold here too,3.5 stars

The people who run this store are friendly and customer service is efficient. A perfect spot to get a quick light snack and beverage.2/4/2016:The guy on duty was very friendly, I did like how clean the store looked. Bonus points for having inventory items placed and arranged neatly on the shelves. This is certainly a clean store!

Alex is the nicest guy to ever run a liquor/convenience store. He is always friendly.Whatever you were going to pick up at Roxie's, I'd wager you'll find it here for cheaper.

I've worked in this neighborhood for the last ten years and go into this shop 3-4 times per week for snacks and drinks. The new owners here are great. I thought the shop was good with the old owners, but Bill and his family have really maximized the space. Yeah, the energy is different than the previous owners, but they definitely care a lot about the customers and keeping the price fair. I feel very comfortable going in, and it totally feels like a step up without changing the vibe of our awesome neighborhood.
