Joyride Pizza - Yerba Buena Gardens

Came in after a long day at a Moscone Center event. The owner welcomed us with open arms even though the restaurant was slammed with huge catering orders. We've had Joyride Pizza at the Ferry Building before so we knew that we were in for a treat and this location did not disappoint either! Although the seating area is not that big we were able to find a table to accommodate the 8 of us comfortably. Once warmer weather hits, there's a nice outdoor terrace to take your pizza for a nice picnic.Latin music was on point too. I don't usually listen to this genre but I love the melodies and harmonies of the songs they were playing. Overall great pick if you're in this area! There are so many good food options nearby, but you can't beat the awesome personable service here and the top notch Detroit pizza. Craving is fully satisfied!

The pizza here was pretty good and the portion size is enough for two people to share one. They cut it into 6 squares and my "sharing partner" ate 2 of her squares and wrapped one up to take home while I ate all 3 of mine! You order at a kiosk, including putting in the buzzer number, and then take that buzzer to your table. When your pizza is ready, your buzzer will buzz and you have to pick up your pizza, so this is pretty much self-service. We ordered the pizza with the arugula and pesto (no meat) and it was pretty good. Another person who ordered the same thing thought it was a bit too salty, but I had no problem with that. Somebody else ordered a salad and it was a pretty large portion that looked good. She said her garlic knots were good, too. So, if you're in the area, it's definitely a place to go, but be ready to spend more if you're not sharing your pizza!

Yummy food with good portion sizes, very clean inside and out, and excellent service.I would note that this location doesn't do by the slice, so come with friends to share it!

Solid Detroit-style pizza! I've been wanting try Joyride Pizza for a while since every time that I passed by one of their storefronts, it smelled heavenly. Came here on a Tuesday in the afternoon to get a pizza to go. The ordering system is simple through two kiosks at the front, and they have a stack of buzzers at the counter for you to take and type in your number to your kiosk order.I got a regular cheese pizza and added parmesan on top. The pizza came out relatively fast (about 10 minutes). The staff were all super nice, and outdoor patio looked really nice as well with a scenic view -- would definitely want to try dining in next time! Looking at it initially when I got it, it was so crispy and golden! I didn't eat it until later that night, but even reheated it was still fluffy and flavorful. I split it with 2 friends and that was enough for us all since there were 6 pieces. A bit on the pricier side, but I would definitely want to try the other pizzas they have!

Love all the vegetarian and vegan options that Joyride Pizza offers. This location is beautiful, great for lunch, to take a mid-day break in the Yerba Buena gardens. I happened to be there on a day when there was a big conference in the Financial District and the line was super long. My coworkers and I survived the long line, but it did take us a good half hour to just place our order. But busy means that the food is good and that is just the case with the offerings here. I'll be back to taste the other vegetarian options.

Oracio helped us get the order because it was my first time, but my daughter loves the pizza here. It was fast and wonderful service. Our order was delicious. We had a pepperoni pizza and garlic knots. They have alcohol here too. You can rent out the space as well. We will definitely be back. We found this on our way to the skating rink.

Went there yesterday. Kinda excited to try it out and very hungry. No customers inside. Stood around with a dumb look on my face wondering what the size of the pizza was - surely it wasn't $26 for - personal sized serving? None of the staff acknowledged my existence and the pictures on the ya let had no sense of scale. So I left, all the better for not spending nearly $30 at a "restaurant " which requires me to order from a screen and asks for tip and still end of thirsty.

Good quality pizza. A bit on the pricey side but I guess that's normal for this location. What kind of a restaurant closes at 7 PM? They need to extend the hours a bit.
