If you're a fan of Detroit-style pizza like I am, Joyride Pizza in San Francisco is a must-visit. I stopped by recently and tried their Classic Pepperoni Pizza, and it was everything I hoped for--almost.The hallmark of Detroit-style pizza is its thick, airy crust with those perfectly crispy, caramelized edges, and Joyride absolutely nailed it. The crust was golden, buttery, and packed with flavor. The pepperoni cups on top were generously layered, crisping up beautifully at the edges, and paired with a rich, tangy tomato sauce that complemented the cheese. The only downside? It leaned a bit on the salty side. While it wasn't enough to detract from the overall enjoyment, it's something to note if you're sensitive to salt. For me, the combination of flavors and the incredible crust more than made up for it.Joyride Pizza offers a casual yet vibrant atmosphere, making it a great spot for a quick bite or a laid-back dinner. Whether you're a Detroit pizza aficionado or just looking to try something new, their Classic Pepperoni Pizza will definitely hit the spot. I'll definitely be back to explore more of their menu!

Absolutely delicious! Thick, crisp, full of toppings and cheese and everything you can want in a slice of pizza! Order from a kiosk from a wide selection of pizzas, modify a bit if you want, choose a number, then wait for it come out to you!Seating options are available both indoors and outdoors. The place wasn't packed but it was definitely busy. Price isn't too bad for the amount and quality of pizza. We'll be back to try other flavour combinations!

The pizza was amazing! I got the Sweet Bianca, and while at first I was a little apprehensive about the sweet taste, it was delicious. It's not your traditional pizza but it melts in your mouth. There are only a few small tables indoors, and one outside. More of a take out or casual place.

This was probably one of the most expensive pizzas I've ever purchased, but it was damn good. Being from the Detroit area I was skeptical, but they did a fantastic job. They offered many vegan toppings, which is fun, but I wish ordering was through a person, as I had a couple of questions. Not much seating, but there are a couple of benches outside.

This pizza was yummy, came out quick, but was expensive and a bit dry. Looks beautiful but ultimately not worth the price.

Ordered some Joy-Ride Pizza over the weekend and it was amazing! I definitely have to come in person and check out their store fronts. Me and my girlfriend ordered the pestoterrfic which was amazing. The service is pretty fast knowing that I live about 20 mins from downtown San Francisco yet the food was warm and fresh.

Got this off of DoorDash and it was quite a treat! Never had pizza with such a thick crust and it was quite delicious! I think I prefer thinner crusts because it was too doughy for my taste and wasn't a good sauce to crust ratio. But still pleasantly surprised! The garlic knots were solid and I would get them again!

Decent pizza! The sizes are pretty large, and the crust is soooo buttery and soft. Definitely pleasant to eat. However, price was expensive ($23-$26/pizza) for what it was. I ordered a sweet/spicy pizza and added hot honey- did not feel the pizza had much flavor. Also the hot honey was $3 extra and I didn't even notice it there! Same for a friend who spent $3 on adding pineapple- not a lot of the toppings when you pay $3-$4 extra per addition.

I really wanted to like this pizza place I lot more than I did. From the outside, fun decor of color and motorcycles beckon you in from the hustle of Market Street. The pizza itself looks like art, enticing me to order a whole instead of the slice I went in to get. The cheese crisps around the crust, creating an interesting visual appeal and fun texture in the mouth. But the flavor is lacking. In actuality the pizza is focaccia bread with cheese and items added on top, not a normal deep dish pizza crust. I saw a guy bringing in the bread on a large cart when I was there... which would be fine for me as long as the flavor stood out, but it doesn't. That said, the "pizza" comes out steaming hot, and relatively quickly. There are a few places inside and out to sit and eat, but either way the pizza is served in a cardboard box. You place your order at an electronic screen and when done the guy will call your name to pick it up at the counter. Nice guys in there. I wish they had a better source for their bread. If you're hungover and looking for a decently vibey spot for a late night grub sesh, this is better than most for that purpose. But I was just stopping by for a slice after leaving work.I spent $30 on one cheese pizza with a single vegetarian topping, no beverage.

The Zoe 'Roni pepperoni pizza was so-so. It looked great, but the pepperoni was far too salty. The pizza was also actually bland because it was mostly bread: 95% bread, 5% cheese and pepperoni. See photo. I prefer NY style pizza for a better bread to cheese/sauce ratio.
