I'm from Buffalo. I lived a mile away from The Anchor Bar who invented Buffalo wings. I can make the spot-on recipe myself. I take wings seriiousssly. When I share Joyride Pizza 's wings are legit, order them, lots of them, lots and lots. They are full of flavor, juicy and succulent. With a few sheet pizzas, you'll host a house party they'll be talking about for a long time.Joyride Pizza's Detroit-style pizza is equally taste-worthy: With a mouthwatering list of choices, it's hard to decide which pizza to order. They have salads and roast vegetables, too, and sides that include "hot honey" that I missed, mmmm.Housemade marinara, pesto ("Green Ecstasy Pesto") topped with an abundance of pepperoni or with capers, clams, tomatoes, parsley ("The Ocean Beach") we landed on the 2-piece "Smokin' Hot Mother Clucker" BBQ chicken personal pizza, all flavors of delicious: Smoky, hot, a little spicy and savory- totally unique and amazing.Enjoy the vibe with relaxing zen atmosphere in the dining room with cool jazz and world music. Clean plates, more napkins and lots of questions answered by Ever who knows a lot about his company and is really dedicated.Joyride Pizza has dairy free, vegan ("Sweet Bianca" with Tallegio, fig jam, ricotta, mozzarella and brick cheese) and gluten free options- come one, come everyone!Beer, wine and cool soda sips.

Joyride Pizza's new location is a fantastic addition to the Detroit-style pizza scene. I stopped by with my coworkers for a quick bite and left feeling completely fulfilled and stuffed. For Detroit-style pizza, it's impressively light and not overly doughy, which made it even more enjoyable. As a big fan of corner slices, I was happy with the crisp edges and generous toppings. Next time, I'll probably ask them to cook it a little longer to get that extra crunch on the undercarriage, which is just a personal preference. The seating arrangement inside is incredibly comfy and adds to the experience. For a chain, it's not your stereotypical Starbucks-style table setup that feels barebones. Instead, it's more homey and inviting, which makes it a great place to relax while enjoying your meal. The quick service and convenient cold water station nearby were much appreciated. To top it all off, we got to meet the owner, who was incredibly nice and clearly passionate about what he does. That love for his craft shines through in every bite of his pizza.Joyride Pizza is a must-try for anyone looking for a delicious and satisfying Detroit-style pizza experience in the Cow Hollow area. I'll definitely be back!

Just opened today! Another Joyride pizza shop amongst their other Bay Area stores. Nice location on Union Street with a open and airy space. Love the groovy Playlist too.Detroit-style whole pies come in personal (2 slices) or large (6 slices). Tried the mushroom sausage and it was very good. Foccacia bread crust was fantastic. En-JOY the pie-RIDE.

I visited this location after a fitness class nearby. The employee was friendly and gave me a few minutes to check out their menu. I ended up getting a pandan mochi cake and blueberry muffin. Who would've thought they'd have such interesting pastries at a pizzeria. I didn't get to try their pizzas yet, but will return for more. The ambiance was nice. The water station was really neat too.

Fragrant, mouth-watering, thick Detroit-style pizza. Generous gooey cheese with pepperoni strategically placed to ensure that each bite captures a well-proportioned mixture of each flavor. The sauce is savory, very slightly chunky w bits of tomato. Staff is very friendly, helpful and kind. What a wonderful addition to the Union Street neighborhood!

So good. They did a fab job on the inside- it's really nice. Pizza is delicious. I'm originally from Michigan so I love Detroit. This is but not as heavy or greasy-- chefs kiss. Pizza is light and airy with Detroit crust. So many unique Detroit styles to chose from and salad was fab. We were happy. Great wine selection too.

Garden Goddess personal pizza with pepperoni added. SO good. the ricotta is perfect and the veggies + pesto makes this such a light yet filling meal. Loved the red onion pieces in the dough. Definitely stop by. Server had a positive attitude. The place is clean with comfortable seating and lots of natural light.

Who knew a casual pizza place would not only offer fantastic Detroit style pizza (crispy edges, medium thick crust, delicious toppings) but surprisingly fantastic wine. This location has an elegant Aesthetic but is relaxed and comfortable. Enjoy!

Came here specifically to try the pizza, because good pizza is few and far between in the Bay Area, but it didn't meet the mark for me.Upon walking in, it's hard to ignore the unusual interior aesthetic, it's like a 1950's diner meets an ikea. It didn't really look bad imo, but I can't argue that it looked good either. I don't usually review dining aesthetics, but it's hard to ignore this one. Not overly minimal like most places, but I'd say a little over the top. The centerpiece when walking in is the pizza display case. There were many beautiful pies, and I didn't know what to try. Unfortunately service was non existent on this day. My friend and I stood for about 3-5 minutes looking at the pizzas, and the clerk didn't bother to acknowledge as he stood in front of the cash register. It would have been nice to have some input on whats going on in the case and what's popular. After paying, we got self serve water and sat facing out the window because the busy neighborhood was more interesting than the busy interior, and our personal pizzas came out in about 10-15 minutes. The pizzas here are very aesthetically pleasing, and the cost is reasonable, but when it came to tasting the pizza, it felt like a bait and switch. Tbh I really love pizza so I'm somewhat snobby about it, but I'm still not too good for a Costco slice if that makes sense. The pizza here was not great pizza, it was not good pizza, I'd say it was okay pizza, but you can do much better for the price. I expected much better amidst the mirage going on around me.I can't say the amount of toppings were skimpy, they were fine (and I'll get back to that), but the slices were way too bready regardless of how much toppings and cheese you could pile on. In my pizza baking experience, I would say that the pizza was somewhat undercooked, it was very spongy and it lacked the flavor you get from a nicely golden crust. Though beautifully topped, the toppings didn't strike me as high quality ingredients, they were mid at best. If I was blindfolded and tasted what I ate, I would never guess it came from a place like this. It struck me as a chain type pizza place that could be in any random city in America. The cheese didn't have any distinct flavor that stood out and the pesto tasted cheap, because it was very salt and oil forward, lacking any basil taste whatsoever. My pizza was essentially a salty, oily bread sponge, but not in a good way. (It was the chicken pesto ranch slice btw.) It would have been nice if the server could have recommended something better than what I chose, but he was preoccupied. My friend got the other vegetarian pesto slice and felt pretty much the same way about the pesto and the breadyness. In conclusion, I could see some appeal to this place if you're going here to drink alcohol and need greasy bready pizza to soothe your stomach, but as someone sober it was pretty lousy pizza and wouldn't recommend coming here for just the pizza!
