Jinju Tea

Really nice option for boba drinks and dole whip in the Outer Richmond area. You get a generous amount of non-dairy soft serve for $4. I really liked the watermelon flavor and will come back to try the others. It's tucked away in the "patriot café" in building 7. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating

I couldn't believe this was what they were doing to our veterans. How far we've fallen.Don't be fooled by the name or pics; this place is inside the San Francisco VA Medical Center's cafeteria. With most of the population as seniors, why would they want to be subjected to a sub-par, overpriced, off-brand version of Panda Express? I mean, it's a hospital cafeteria. - so, if you like to witness culinary abuse of seniors who fought for our country, then here you go. I'm more curious on how this place even got to operate inside a federal government facility.

Wow, trying to find Jinju Tea was such an adventure and a challenge all in one. I had them on my bookmarks for a few months, but they close pretty early (3 PM) on weekdays and they are closed on weekends. I finally had the chance to stop by recently and let me tell you, I was so confused on where they were located and I drove around for 5 - 8 minutes in 2 full circles around the San Francisco VA Medical Center before I realized that they were inside the cafeteria of the medical center, as there was not much information about this spot on Yelp or Google. Since they are in the medical center, there was plenty of parking in the lots and several garages around the facility. Since it is such a big place - remember where you park, or you will be like me wandering around trying to remember which garage I parked in based on what cars and scenery I remembered seeing when I entered the parking lot to the garage. After parking, I ended up walking across the whole campus trying to look for their cafeteria. After asking a helpful receptionist inside one of the buildings - she told me it was on the other side of the facility, a few buildings down. I walked over - eventually I found them and made it before closing. I was afraid that I would not make it in time before closing, as some places close down 5 - 10 minutes early, but they were still opened and the employees still let me order.I wanted a green milk tea, which they did not offer, so I tried their black milk tea with boba. Afterwards, I noticed that they also had green tea (just not green milk tea), so I ordered it with boba and salted cheese foam. The black milk tea tasted strong, unsweeten (even at their Mostly Sweet - 75% sweetness level), and watered down with a subtle creaminess to it. The green tea with cheese tasted a tad better than the milk tea, as the cheese foam was creamy and rich in flavor with a good sweetness to it - however, this drink made my mouth kind of dry and made me more thirsty, as it was way too cheesy/creamy after mixing it and it had a very subtle tea taste to it, but it was the better of the 2 drinks. The boba was chewy, melty, and soft on the outside, but it was a bit hard and tough on the inside, so it kind of broke apart, as I was chewing. Overall, the drinks was eh, but it was decent for boba in a hospital cafeteria, and the employees were fairly nice to make me my drinks so close to closing - hence the 3 stars, instead of 2 stars.

Get the tiramisu boba! They also offer dole whip ice cream in different flavors, I tried the cherry and it was very good--I usually don't like cherry flavored things but this tasted authentic

I ate their food on the cafeteria side had teriyaki chicken and rice it was good for $7.50
