Chicken teriyaki bowl
the outside of the building
a bowl of chicken and peppers
They have food bowls here?! $7.99 Pork bowl (also have beef or chicken). It was alright. Lots of hidden rice under all of that.
Buzz Ballz 20% alcohol..can't wait to try these!

While waiting for my window repair I got hungry and started searching for food. Sandwich was on my mind and this place caught my eye and interest being that the name is a deli and a bait shop. To be honest I was a bit skeptical but after reading reviews and looking at pictures I was sold and made my way here. After a quick walk I was here and placed my order. I'm a pastrami lover but anytime I go to a new place, a simple turkey sandwich is always a starter for me. So it is, a simple turkey sandwich and a bag of lays was all it took to satisfy my craving for the day. This place is like a liquor store with a little deli that sells those amazing sandwiches that you would never think of unless you do some research. At the same time there's a few tables for one to sit and enjoy your food if you're not in a rush. With many varieties of snacks and goodies you will sure to find something here. The location is right off the freeway and in a a mixed residential and commercial area so if you're passing through or just hungry and looking for a quick snack or heck some fishing bait, this would be the place to go.

Teriyaki Bowls I think this place is a hidden gem of south San Francisco for sure(Oyster point area). To a unsuspecting driver, from outside it looks like a liquor, tackle and bait store. But , the store hides a clean full kitchen inside. A Korean lady dishes out a very tasty teriyaki bowl for lunch each day.I suspect soon to be line out the door, you may want to try it out soon.No need for you to drive to city central. It is so close to oyster point area.I am impressed, last three months, taste, price, service has been consistently good.As a surprise, she hides japchae between grilled meat and steamed rice. The portion is enough for two people.

This place is not an ordinary liquor store, they have such a wide variety of snacks and drinks! Not only that but this is also a bait and tackle shop to get all your fishing needs and it is super close to the pier. Like that wasnt already enough they have a small kitchen inside wiere they make various items including teriyaki rice bowls, potstickers and a bunch of other stuff. The bowls are delicious and are made fresh daily. I'm lucky to work so close that I can quickly pop by on lunch get some food. Definitely reccomended!!

They now have a taqueria. We live super close so my daughter and I wanted to try their tacos. All I can say is eat at your own risk!! I had to spit my bite out cause it tasted gross! The carnitas tasted old and their salsa was mediocre. I'm very disappointed because the owners are soooo friendly. If you want good Mexican food to to la tapatia on grand... If you want AMAZING tacos try the taco truck across the street from tanforan on el camino. They are to die for!!p.s I do feel really bad the I have to give them a bad review.

The friendliest store clerks you will ever meet. You can find everything in this little whole in the wall liquors. Even bait for fishing, fishing line, wghts etc. They have lunch items (hamburgers, sandwiches, breakfast sandwiches, fries, onion rings) All made to order and reasonably priced. The beer selection is extensive and cheap along with some cheap spirits too. This is the first liquor store on my way home from work and sometimes my first stop too.

Play says it opens at 6:30. I was there from 7:15 to 7:32 and the doors were locked with the guy inside just walking around doing nothing why don't you update your time of opening if you don't plan to attend to your customers or make money? Why do you make your customers waste their time driving to you if you're not going to be open? You could've at least open the door to let your customers know you were opening later on very unprofessional.

Several years ago I stopped at Jailhouse to get some beer... The woman at the counter carded me and gave me that "This isn't really you.." expression as she looked from my ID to my face; my hair was longer than in my ID photo. She finally handed my ID back and said "You should get a haircut.."What kind of customer service is THAT?!? Me never shop at Jailhouse again.
