We came here shortly after opening on a Thursday night, and were very glad to beat the crowd. We were seated quickly and given the option to either have the regular menu, or the premium menu for an additional $5, which came with 7 additional premium pieces. Opting for the premium menu, we swiftly ordered all the nigiri and rolls that we wanted and absolutely devoured them when they arrived. The fish tasted clean, not fishy at all. The rice was seasoned nicely as well. Overall service was good and we had an enjoyable experience.

Good customer service and friendly host. Good wait staff. The food came out quickly. Decor is a little dark. Ordering from the tablet is a little confusing until you understand than only 5 orders could be placed from each category at a time. All the dishes prepared from the kitchen were not seasoned and pretty dry. I mean absolutely no salt or pepper. And the chicken karaage had a bullet proof crust. The sushi is small. Smaller than normal size. Not a big deal but order more. They also need to lighten up on mayonnaise a little on everything that had it. We paid the $40 but the premium items were not available on the tablets. I guess this is the new pricing. We were hoping to get more for what we paid for but that wasn't the case. The price was ok and that is what you're getting - ok sushi. We finished with an ample amount of time left to order more but we didn't. Yoki is not for us because overall it was just lower in quality than we are use to. If you are willing to pay a little more go somewhere else for a much better experience.

Now is at 6:20pm and the restaurant check out my bill before letting me know. I came in at 5:03pm. So disappointed with its service and food quality and quantity. Too bad. It does not have zero star. I could only rate it one star.

Overall a pretty satisfying AYCE sushi experience!!For the $39.99 price you get 90 minutes to order and unlike the previous reviews we didn't feel rushed at all and besides a couple missed nigiri's--our server was extremely quick and attentive. However the two hour wait was BRUTAL--especially since we came on a weekend you couldn't join the waitlist through yelp--but we got a couple drinks at the bar across the street so all was well. The menu was pretty extensive which is always a plus with ayce since you get a huge variety of options to choose from. But the carpaccio and nigiri is where it's at if you want to get your moneys worth. The salmon nigiri quality was so fresh and SCRUMPTIOUS but the tuna on the other hand was rather fishy and on the tougher side. Super disappointed that the scallop was all sold by the time we were sat that night:(( The salmon tartar was a surprising fan favorite accompanied by those perfectly crispy crackers (kind of reminded me of big wonton chips). Also the butter corn was such a delightful addition to our meal. Wish I took my photos of our orders but wow were we hungry after that wait. If you're looking for a ayce sushi restaurant in SF I'd definitely give this one a try if you're willing to wait!!

Fish to rice ratio was great! Some nigiri like the unagi were on the smaller size. Staff are attentive and so kind. I showed up at 4:20pm and they let me sit inside because it was cold outside. By 5pm, there were only 5 parties on the waitlist. V surprised by quality of fish too. For each round of sashimi carpaccio and nigiri, there is a 10 min wait and countdown before you can order again. The food came out super quick after we ordered thru the tablet at our table. For $40/pp, we'll definitely be back!

The wait was brutal. We hopped onto the waitlist at 5:50pm but didn't get seated until 8:10pm. I would say - Any AYCE meals require a 1 day preparation for my friends and I. We make sure we have a light lunch and go about our day lightly until this AYCE meal. But with a 2+ hour gap, we needed snacks to hold us over. Was it worth it? Maybe a 30 minute wait, yes. 2+ hours? never again. It was good but not 2+ hours good. The fish was fresh and things came out relatively fast. Everyone working there seemed really stressed and was borderline speed walking from table to table. 90 minutes gave us about 5 rounds of orders. We didn't get the premium option as we thought it was just for 1 of the fishes on the list, not 1 per fish. I'd be there at 5pm to put our names down next time.

3.5/5 Rating - OVERALL: 1st I'll say that the price of $35 for all you can eat sushi in the city is unbeatable. That being said, this place is not the most authentic place for sushi but rather a place that can get the fix out if you are really craving sushi. WAITING IN LINE: We came on a Friday night about 15 minutes before they opened and there was already about 7 to 8 parties in front of us. This place has about 18 tables, so we able to snatch a spot, but by 5 PM when they open, the line was already long. Some people behind us in line had to wait for the second round of tables already. FISH QUALITY: The salmon was fresh & The yellowtail fish is good as well. The only fish I didn't think was fresh tasting was the escolar. It didn't taste right to me in the carpaccio. We also noticed some cuts of salmon had a little bit of skin on it, so it wasn't the cleanest cut. RICE QUALITY: The rice was the biggest factor for bumping down the rating. Sushi rice is really when eating nigiri, and the rice was way too sweet and sugar it took over from the flavor of the fish. ORDERING: I did not like the kiosk system of choosing items. The tablet we had was very glitchy & hard to determine how much of each item we could get. Each round we ordered, there is a limit of how many pieces of nigiri we could get, which was around 10-15. We typically like to order 20-25 on the first round of AYCE sushi for 2 people. I wish we could scan a QR code and order from our phones as well. I'm not sure if I got a bad tablet, or if other tables experienced the same thing. We also wanted the premium experience, but the waiter told us they already sold out, even thought we were the first round of tables for the night. If you want the premium menu, you should ask right when you sit down. SERVICE: Service was great, no complaints here! Food & water came out relatively fast. Waiters were nice and checking in.

Yoki Sushi aka Izakaya Yoki on google maps, just started to offer their AYCE menu on 1/27/25 from 5-10pm only. Regular $34.99 or $39.99 for Premium. Ages under 3 is FREE and ages 4-12 pays half price. This is a steal especially in San Francisco. The premium offer for only $5 more is a no brainer. Premium is free for the first round and any subsequent rounds it's $2-$3 a piece which is worth it for "some" of the items. We came on a Saturday at 5:30pm and were greeted and seated right away. By 6:20pm, the restaurant was completely full and a line started to form. Ordering is taken on a large menu sheet that you mark off, kinda like at some dim sum restaurants. Service was fast and friendly. Within 5 minutes of submitting our order, some of the dishes had already come out. Our favorite items were:Yellow tail toro - premiumSalmon toro - premium Bluefin tuna toro - premiumHokkaido scallop - premiumHamachi Kama (ask for lemon)Salmon carpaccioHamachi carpaccioAnd any of the seared nigiri's. We disliked the uni as it was a bit fishy. The mixed tempura was not crunchy. So any sushi rolls with tempura shrimp wasn't that great. The tempura bits on the Yoki roll were not fresh or crunchy either. It tasted like it was left out too long and the escolar had a mushy texture. One of the items we ordered was the fried squid but instead we got a vegetable croquette because it was listed right above it. We mentioned it but never got the squid. Baked mussels were chewy. Overall for the price you can definitely get your moneys worth and it's just a matter of knowing what to order and what not to order. Unfortunately no desserts were offered. I made a suggestion to offer it for an extra charge. Also suggest to offer 1/2 rolls. Note: suggested 18% tip is added after tax.

First time trying their all you can eat for $34.99 1 1/2 hour no premium $39.99 available. Let's start with the positive. Their fish is fresh and they give you little rice which is a plus. Their service was really good and fast. Love the selections they offer. My favorite was all the diff type of fish carpaccio since I don't really eat rice, there hamachi kama and tempura. Now for the negative. VERY IMPORTANT FYI: It's a total eating experience of 1 1/2 hour meaning they cut you off 20 min before for last call. We felt like only 1 hour of ordering. Their machine isn't accurate as the lady told us last call ( 1 hour and 10 min in) to order and when we did, it cut us off. You need to tell the customer in advance to last call order in an hour and will decline to take over in 10 min. To start it right. Don't waste time thinking and look at the menu before you come in. Just start ordering and send it in. Rest can eat while one person order again for second round. Then after an hour you can enjoy the rest of your food. Too fast and ridiculous lol... well it is all you can eat for a great price and the food is pretty good. Almost forgot... do not order the fried pork. It's very dry and hard to swallow. If you do, get the tempura sauce and let it soak it back to life. Overall we enjoyed it except for not understanding the full rule. Do I recommend, of course. Just follow these steps and you'll be ok and happy. Good luck.
