This is my go-to Indian market in the area. It's not fancy, but they have what I need: spices, dal, frozen paratha oh my. Service is friendly and they take cash or credit. I've never seen it particularly crowded. My only wish is that they had been open when I tried to go yesterday mid-day, since I was off of work, but they're only open in the afternoons on Mondays.

This is THE place if you want to cook Indian! There's nothing like it where I live, so I hunted this place down on my way back north from San Francisco. I found everything I needed, and at the right price. Nice folks behind the counter, very helpful. I'll be back for SURE!

Nice store. Though small, one gets almost all the required items. I called the store and nobody picked up. But within a few minutes, the owner called me and regretted that the call was not attended to and asked me how he could help. I was pleasantly surprised since have not experienced such courtesy in Indian stores. A positive customer experience speaks a lot about wanting to shop there despite it being just a small store

I wanted to give it a try to this store.Usually I buy from JAI HO Indian grocery store by Fillmore right across Safeway. So here's a thing I bought few groceries this was was second time here among all of my purchase one of the items was Hajmola idk how many on you know I am sure ppl from my place they know what that is ,when I opened up it was stake and seems like wasn't airtight or some sort of mispackging .I ran back to the store and told them I would like to get another one.the guy in the store says OH YOU OPENED IT WE CANT ISSUE A REFUND.How do I know if the item is fresh or stale without opening it.His wife was saying we will refund you husband seems to have some sorta problem u seriously need to know what customer service dude it's not only about money . I didn't even asked for refund all I wanted was another one . He keep saying he won't refund me ,it's ok dude it's prolly $5 it's no biggie. Learn how to talk to customers and follow business ethics it won't very long this way someone,s gonna sue you someday .I just left the item there and walkaway prolly he'll repack and sell it to another customer.

Solid selection of Indian snacks, pre made mixes, and deserts. The drinks in the bar are great and it's a nice way to introduce yourself to some great indian deserts and foods.

This is a solid, high-quality Indian grocery store, and an excellent addition to the neighborhood. The selection in this store focuses on the things that are best purchased directly from Indian purveyors, even in an era of online-one-click-everything. The store carries dry spices, spice mixes, lentils, rices, assorted flours, ghee, packaged namkeen and mithai, pretty much everything you'd expect to find at an Indian grocery and spice store- Including the nostalgic things that remind us of home, like biscuits and Maggi sauces and pani puris. There is also a refrigerated section, carrying idli and dosa batter, along with the usual array of frozen rotis/parathas/naans, and packaged meals. The store just opened, and they are asking all their customers for suggestions on items to carry - I have high hopes for this business, and hope they stick around!
