Great neighborhood market that has it all! You can find all the Indian spices, powders, snacks, batters, and frozen food here. They also have fresh vegetables, Indian sweets, ice cream, alcohol and more. The store is well maintained and has fresh produce/items. The people working here are friendly too. This is a great spot to try something new or find an old favorite.

Glad to have a decent Indian market close by noe and mission! Their prices are the best I've seen in the city so far for spices and snacks, even compared to spots in Berkeley. Wide variety of items from achaar, ground and whole spices, frozen foods, syrups, paneer, snacks, and refrigerated sweets. So nostalgic to see the parle G cookies and bon bons! Really sweet family owned place. I was able to get all the things I needed on my list.

What a gem! As a mostly vegetarian gal who LOVES Indian cuisine, I have to admit that this place is a good place! Pros:1. This shop is on the wonderful app called "Too Good to Go" and their large surprise bag is a steal for $7! I swear, mine was easily worth $25+ for snacks! 2. Very friendly family who owns & operate this business! The pop was very kind & patient & the daughter is very sweet & kind. Very patient & accommodating as well. 3. The shop is clean & is in a very nice area. It's Bernal/Noe so go figure! I do like the shop in 22nd by CCSF Valencia, but it's not exactly a spiffy & chic area like before 2019..... 4. When paying with cash, they give a discount. This is a plus in my book since cash is a good way to save up money in the form of change! Call meOld fashioned, but I like saving up coins & hope to use it towards travel in the future! Cons: 1. Seemingly this shop doesn't have enough items to pick from as compared to their other competitors. It's very basic & simple. 2. I wish this place had hot foods or at least prepared bento boxes that can be heated up. That's would make this shop 5 stars for sure! Keep up the good work!

Need a quick, cheap, and delicious snack on the way home before hopping onto 280 South? Look no further than Indian Grocery & Liquor located on the border of Noe Valley and Bernal Heights (3 blocks from Mitchell's). On my way home yesterday, I noticed the sign for Samosas but was driving too fast to stop. I decided to pop in today to this brand new, family-owned Indian shop to grab some housemade Samosas. The couple's young daughter is super cute and helpful. When I was perusing the aisles, she came over to ask if I needed help. Very sweet of her. The Samosas ($1.50 each) were still warm with a deliciously flaky exterior. The filling of potatoes and peas were very well-spiced with a good kick.I only had milk tea for lunch so I wish I got more than two! I also got a jar of Patak's Hot Mango Chutney that was reasonably priced at $4.50. Not the best comparison because the imported ethnic products on Amazon are inflated but they're selling the same chutney for $9.49. Selection was a bit sparse as the mango chutney seemed to be the only chutney option I found and there was only one jar of the hot one. They're only a week young so I'm sure they're trying to gauge customer demand and may expand their offerings later. They also sell Indian frozen food (naan, paratha, and curry), lentils, spices, pani puri, Haldiram's nuts & snack mixes (the "all-in-one" mix is hella addictive), ghee, yoghurt, and locally made Mithai (Indian sweets). Most importantly, they sell BOOZE because you deserve to romance the bottle after the long day at work! Cc's accepted.P.S. - There's one dedicated 10 minute parking space (green curb) right in front which is very convenient.

I paid cash and he charged me as credit price. They are selling things in cash/vemo and credit prices. Charged me $4 more. Bought chickpea snack, curry leaves and chana dhal. I should've gone other Indian market for better price. First and last visit. No more.
