4.5 Yelp Stars ***Tried House of Bagels a few times when my siblings bought it for me and remembered the bagels being very tasty. One day, I ordered House of Bagels over the phone when I was in a rush to get breakfast. Surprisingly, a lot of places that I usually go for pastries or breakfast spots were not open until 9am. Luckily, I remembered House of Bagels and placed an order over the phone for two bagel sandwiches for pick up. I got the breakfast sandwich: omelet and sausage and the salmon deluxe. Both of them were good and savory! My favorite bagels were usually the ones with smoked salmon so it would be a biased opinion if I chose smoked salmon over the breakfast sandwich. However, the breakfast sandwich was quite flavorful considering I was not a huge fan of sausages in general. The place inside looked a bit dark since that area did not get much sunlight. It was quiet inside too since it was early in the morning. However, service was good and bagels were fresh and warm! A bit on the pricier side for one bagel but still worth trying. Definitely one of my favorite bagel sandwiches in the Bay Area!

It's so nice to have a bagel shop nearby my house. I went on a Monday morning to satisfy my bagel cravings. Luckily it wasn't too busy or super loud considering it was the time before people had to go to work. There is a giant menu displayed ranging from simple bagels to breakfast bagels, as well as their giant list of unique schmears. The combinations were endless. There is also a self-ordering kiosk where you can place your order. I think it's a good idea so that they can prepare your orders in a timely manner. I ordered a Blueberry Bagel with Honey Butter Schmear since I was craving something sweet, and a Sausage Breakfast Bagel for my dad. The blueberry bagel fulfilled my sweet tooth, and the breakfast bagel smelled very warm and delicious. I definitely want to come back and try more of their bagels and schmears, especially the Ube Schmear

House of Bagels (HOB) in Colma, off 280 on the Serra side, is my go-to for bagels nearby. Open 8AM-5PM daily. There's counter seating along the wall/window and a few tables outside. HOB has all the requisite variety of bagels, shmears, and nice menu of bagel sandwiches or bagel-wiches. The counter service is always nice and helpful, wait for the sandwiches can take a bit since they've made up fresh. Haven't tried their breakfast bagel sandwiches yet. My favs are the LOX & CREAM CHEESE or the WHITE FISH SALAD BAGEL-WICH to eat right away. I'll take home a dozen mixed bagels and the pre-packed shmears of plain cream cheese, green scallion, and, WOWEE, UBE!!! Their CHICKEN LEMON HERB SALAD is perfection and, while under the weather one day, tried the CHICKEN VEGGIE SOUP. The soup was well-balanced, hot, lightly seasoned and warmed my insides to feeling much better!House of Bagels is a great place to put together a quick group brunch, picnic on the go, or a nice lazy morning in. Love the order kiosk that's available now. Bagels are delicious, jalapeño bagel with the jalapeño smear is the greatest combination.

Bagel is delicious and fresh, staff are friendly and kind. I will try it again with different bagel from the menu. This makes me recall my NYC trip a few months ago. I like the chewy bagel texture Yummy

Bagels are good here, but the DoorDash food delivery people are rude, don't speak English and entitled over the customers who do in-store orders.

Bagel-ieve me, House of Bagels is a Peninsula gem!I absolutely adore their fresh cream cheese and jam! My go-to order is a blueberry bagel with strawberry jam and cream cheese, and it never disappoints. The employees are always friendly and welcoming, making every visit a delightful experience. While I do wish there was indoor seating, the outdoor seating is plentiful, and there's always ample parking since it's located in a plaza right near Target.Couldn't recommend this place enough!

Like most people on earth, I love me some bagels, so you know that I was eyeing this place once I first saw it while shopping in Colma. House of Bagels is now my family's favourite local bagel shop.Located at the Serra Center, parking is no problem. The venue is tiny with probably an indoor maximum capacity of less than fifty persons. There are counter window spaces as well as some tables and chairs outdoors for eating on prem, but this place is mainly for to go orders. They keep their spot pretty clean and tidy.Below are some items that we have ordered:CALIFORNIA LOX BAGEL-WICH on EVERYTHING BAGEL - This is my go-to order. It's delish and I never stray from it. Sometimes I omit the tomato. Tip: Remind the staff to schmear both slices of your bagel or else they might forget (speaking from experience).BAJA OMELETTE BREAKFAST BAGEL - Looks yummy, but DJ said that it was bland in taste, even with A JALAPENO BAGEL.EGG SALAD BAGEL-WICH on SUN DRIED TOMATO BAGEL - Not very memorable for DJ.Z & V have enjoyed the CHEDDAR & JACK PREMIUM bagel with REGULAR SHMEAR + BACON and the HAM OMELETTE BAGEL + BACON on SOURDOUGH respectively. Both have also liked the BACON OMELETTE BREAKFAST BAGEL on ASIAGO CHEESE BAGELS.All of their shmears are made in-house. I have yet to try them. They are the first place that I have seen that offers UBE flavoured Cream Cheese.Service is fairly quick and friendly. As I mentioned before, you might need to remind the team members that schmears should go on each slice of a BAGEL-WICH or they might neglect to make sure of this. If an order is not perfect, though, you can give them a call and they will remake it for you (Again, speaking from experience).

Delicious bagels (better than Noah's). My favorite sandwich is the whitefish salad. I usually come here for grab and go. Service is ok. Place is clean and organized.

The service is insanely quick. Ordered the bacon omelette (bacon, egg, & cheese) on an asiago bagel and it came out in less than 5 minutes despite it being pretty busy. The bagel was really tasty. The cheese was very ooey gooey and the the bagel itself was fluffy, soft, and delicious. Next time, I might choose a different type of bagel, as the asiago bagel was a bit overwhelming with all the cheese inside and outside of the bagel.
