Holly Jolly Holiday Bar

This was a really fun experience at the Rockwell Bar! It can be super busy and loud so just be prepared for large groups. My wife and I enjoyed ourselves and the tasty drinks! They were pouring heavy and it tasted delicious, truly talented bartenders. Beyond grateful for the jolly spirit of this place with the decor to the music playing! Plus this neighborhood is great for adventuring and enjoying more spots along the way! Makes for a wonderful date day/night or big group adventure.

not the best holiday bar i've been to - i came by on a friday in early december with a reservation for 8:15-9:45 pm. we were given drink tickets for a welcome drink (i forgot the name, but they said it was their take on an espresso martini), but it took around 30 minutes to actually get the drink. we weren't sure where to get the drink at first and when we did finally get in line, the wait was pretty long. even though the other drinks looked interesting, we didn't want to wait in line again so we didn't get any other drinks.there wasn't much seating and generally wasn't much to do except stand around and chat and watch the christmas videos they were playing on the big screen. the atmosphere and decor wasn't bad, but i don't think the overall experienced matched up to the price point (~$35 per person after tax).

2024 Review: Really fun bar decked out in holiday decorations and endless Christmas carols (in a good way). The drink menu is not extensive but the options do hit on the classic Christmas drinks you'd want -- Cookies N Cream, Peppermint Patty, Drummer Boy, were milk-based ones while their Rockin Around and Naughty & Spice were more spirit forward.It's hosted inside Rockwell this year so there are large booths and lots of table tops and bar seating but I would still make a reservation for a guaranteed timed entry (90mins).

Entrance ticket price is too pricey for that one no so good drink. We literally watched the bartender made 5 drinks for all of us and already knew some have more alcohol than others. We didn't have the option to choose a drink. Two stars for christmas decorations.

The drinks were great! Music was on point! The parking situation was not so great. It was like $40 bucks to pay for parking. Then again, that's Wynwood.

You know before you watch a movie and you see the previews and they show all the good parts in the previews. Holly Jolly bar is just like that on Instagram. It looks good but when you get there, it's pretty lame.Really cheap decorations, didn't feel festive at all. The cocktails weren't executed well. The food was overpriced for what it was.We each paid $28 for our tickets and one drink was included. Not sure what I was paying for. Not sure if the other are better but the EP LP version was lame.

Why isn't there zero stars? This was the worst holiday bar I've ever been to the one in the tenderloin pre-Covid Blew this away because they hired actual bartenders that can make drinks. I don't know what the dirty water drink that we were drinking was but I took two sips and we left After 25 minutes of waiting for the drink after it was ordered. The bartender was so drunk. He didn't remember. He took our order 25 minutes ago. Maybe that's cause he was doing shots with every single person at the bar ....Don't go!!! Waste of money and time,

Reserved 2 spots during Santa Con Day. Got seated at the bar. Staff was attentive and lovely to talk to. Paid for all 3 drinks because forgot to give them the 2 complimentary ticket atuvDrinks ordered: ~John McLane: fruity, light, and easy to drink. For the tequila fans!! ~I'm all Toasty Inside: too much bourbon for our liking. We had to order another John McLane to use as "chaser".~got two free spiked hot chocolate because they messed up someone else's order :)

I payed over 30 per person which included my entrance and 1 welcome drink that was not my choice the bar tender gave everyone the same welcome drink which was milk alcohol coffee drink ?!?Totally ridiculous. If other bars in SF have Xmas decore then just go there.l instead. I would be ok to just pay a 10 or 15 dollar entrance but not 30. This was a total hype for nothing.
