Small sushi restaurant somewhat hidden on El Camino Real in Redwood City. Fresh fish and quiet with a great mom and pop feel.

Popped in for an early dinner with a friend. Arrived right at 5pm opening. Was seated right away inside by the friendly staff. Good menu options and decided on the 11 piece chefs pick. Enjoyed most of the pieces, very fresh and flavorful. Relaxed atmosphere with a well lit interior.

The Service was attentive, and the ambiance was casual. This might sound weird, but the Soy Sauce was, so salty that it burned my tongue. I know soy sauce, and that soy sauce was horrible salty. Unfortunately, because of this it overwhelmed the flavor of the sushi, so two stars.

This is my go to when I crave sushi! I have been going here off and on for years and they never disappoint so I figure time to leave a review! The sushi is always fresh and the servers here are always kind. They have a specials board that show all their fresh fish so be sure to take a look! We got a lot of rolls and they were all very good. Parking can get limited as their parking lot holds only about 6 cars so you will probably have to park on El Camino but it is easy enough. It is cute inside, very small and they have 1 TV- so delicious must try :)

First time trying this place & I can say that it's pretty good. Their Nigiris are made very fresh. Their service is also very fast since their servers are very attentive to all the customers. They get pretty busy & wait time can be long since there's not enough room inside to accomodation large amount of people. The ambiance of the restaurant is very small in general. They also have a "VIP table" which has more space than all of their usual small tables/chairs, and there's a $250 minimum for the table. Parking can be tough since this restaurant is along El Camino... The cars noises from the street can be loud at times, but overall, the food options are great!

Delicious, fresh, Japanese food in a laid-back, home-style setting. The servers are extremely friendly, always smiling. We love the special sushi's on the board (nigiri - with rice) that rotate with availability; the adults generally order 16-20 pieces per person. Someone will order a beef terriaki bento and it's also extremely high quality! The kids love the plain udon and ika karaage (squid). Potato croquette is great as well! Good food. Baffled that after closing the bill, including a (25%) 60$ tip, they wanted 25 cents for the 1 extra candy my 8 yr old daughter asked for. I feel that the plastic covered outdoors, with the heaters underneath, is definitely a fire hazard.
