I always love seeing new cafes pop up around the city! HI NRG is conveniently located right by the Clement St Farmer's Market. I came on a Sunday afternoon and it was packed. We waited around 20 minutes to order and were greeted by the friendliest staff. I got the Cafe de Olla, which is lightly sweetened cappuccino with a hint of cinnamon. The barista told us a little bit about where their beans are sourced from. I'm not a coffee connoisseur by any means, but I'd imagine even if you were, you'd be pleased with the coffee here. Good vibes and great addition to Inner Richmond!

This place is amazing; go here before even finishing reading my review. Seriously, start walking. Okay now onto the actual review. Mozied on into here (theyre here Thrusday-Sunday) on the recommendation of a friend, and ended up back here again later in the afternoon to have another friend try their coffee cause it was just that good. Forgetting the name of my drink, but it was this delicious drink in the cutest martini glass that from what I remember had heavy cream, espresso, topped with nutmeg (or cinnamon I forget). Paired it with the most delicious olive oil cake that melted in your mouth, quite literally couldn't have had a more perfect combination with the coffee. The baristas are super friendly and welcoming and are great to chat with. Can't wait to come back! Please do yourself a favor and check it out.

Getting pastries at Arsicault on Arguello during the weekend? Walk a bit further down the steet to HI NRG for a coffee! I did that earlier and it was one of the highlights of my day. The baristas were super friendly and asked us if we had any questions. The menu is concise. The cafe de olla was the only sweetened drink on the menu when I went. I got the hot cafe de olla ($6) and really enjoyed it! It was lightly sweetened and cinnamon-y but didn't take away from the coffee at all. My drink was accidentally made decaf and they offered to remake it, but I didn't mind at all! My drink was balanced and flavorful. Our drinks were clearly prepared with a lot of care, I loved the latte art. I came back later for an iced latte and liked it, but preferred my hot drink. HI NRG is some of the best coffee I've had in SF! I'll definitely come back and will be recommending it to others. Do note that cup sizes are on the smaller side. There's a good amount of seating inside. They also sell coffee beans and a few baked goods. There is no parking lot so you'll have to look for street parking. HI NRG is open Thursday - Sunday from 9 AM - 2 PM.

Great new coffee spot in SF! HI NRG is a pop up located within a wine bar, open Thursday through Sunday from 9am-2pm! The inside is super nice and cute! There was a lot of indoor seating (def more than 20). I ordered to go but considering there were a number of folks with their laptops open and working, I am pretty sure there is wifi. The worker was extremely nice! We asked about the cafe de olla and he told us about the background/inspiration of the drink and how this was his interpretation of the traditional coffee drink. Both of the things we ordered were delicious! The cafe de olla is not too sweet, has the perfect amount of cinnamon flavor, and great creaminess. The cinnamon syrup they use is made in-house. The espresso tonic is a great choice for those who don't like sweet coffee; the espresso they use has great flavor. None of our coffees had a "burnt" taste; they were all soooo good! The cups are small but I think it's pretty fair for what you get! Highly recommend!

HI NRG is the place! Louis and Nathan keeping up the fun and absolutely delicious most creative coffees we've enjoyed in a while. The care and love they put into each drink is rare. My husband brought me yesterday and he bought some of the coffee beans HI NRG makes their coffees from -roasted in Amsterdam. Respect for the fact that all packaging from DAK is recyclable. The scent is divine and resembles some type of tropical fruits, so does the final sip! We look forward to the new drinks they dream up. Currently they have in their warm chill environment a non coffee drink made from pink peppercorns and coconut milk. Delicious. My favorite is something before I tried it I had no idea how much I would love it. Espresso shot with special tonic water. I think it's a fever tree tonic water from the UK, that has a wonderful herbaceous taste. Sitting in the open front window drinking your coffee and watching the world go by is also one of the reasons we love to visit.

Best coffee I had in years. The Cafe de Olla is smooth. - something my boyfriend also noticed. Perfection. -My boyfriend likes their Peppy which he's ordered twice, now. He thinks this is the best coffee place.Whether you're not a coffee person or a coffee snob pretending to know something (when you obviously don't) and true coffee lovers - you'll love this and can taste a true difference at first sip.

Some of the best specialty coffee in the city. No frills, just supremely curated coffee and an occasional fun drink. What I love most is that they really know their stuff and they're happy to take the time to explain as much of their sourcing, grinding, brewing and creative process as you'd like.

Feeling sleepy and full from lunch, I wanted an espresso to help digest and take up the least stomach space: the espresso and tonic add-on was refreshing and energizing! Apparently the flavor is polarizing, but I loved how light and bubbly it was. I will definitely order again next time - thank you :)

These guys make the best coffee in the Inner Richmond District. It's sort of a pop-up inside High Treason. They are open limited hours so catch them when you can. One of the few places that keep things simple the way I like it. Few places make coffee good enough to drink black and this is one of them. Also, the amount of coffee you get allows you to drink it fast enough before it gets cold.
