C1 noodle with beef, pork, green onions, egg, and noodles. A small soup came in a side bowl. I decided to pour it into my big bowl.

From what I can taste, this place is legit -- although I'm not particularly familiar with Guilin-style food, I've come a few times, including with my very Chinese parents and the noodles have not disappointed. I've gotten the house special and the flavor is unmatched -- it's got that braised "lu" type of flavor and the meat and pickled veg and egg and scallion work so well together. I also like the romaine lettuce side - very hot (temperature wise) and garlicky. This place is also really good for a solo meal, and service was pretty fast. It's relatively no frills inside and it's in a sleepy neighborhood. Only downside is that it's tough to park in this area. Looking forward to coming back again!

Very homey experience with light yet flavorful casual Chinese food! They specialize in their rice noodle soups, which are not too heavy but also filling. I liked that the house special came with different kinds of pork and half a tea egg. It was fun to receive the broth separately and then pour it over the noodles! I did feel like my first few bites weren't as flavorful as the last few because the rice noodles didn't seem to absorb as much broth at the top, but once I got to the bottom of the bowl it was delicious. The scallion pancakes were also a little unusual in that they were thicker and fluffier than normal ones and were lacking a little green onion, but they were just so incredibly crispy and flaky that they were yummy nonetheless. The staff were super nice to take me and my friend in less than an hour before closing, and it was nice to be greeted with hot tea!

What a find! We typically go to Mr. Szechuan across the street but decided to try something new and we were glad we did! We both ordered the C1 and it was solid - crispy pork was great and the other assortment of meats as well. Price was good, service was attentive, and parking was pretty easy. The vibe was pretty casual and we will definitely be back!

Attentive staff! Welcomes you with nice hot black tea :)! We got A6: Pig Ears, C1: House Special, C9: Braised Pork Belly. All 3 were YUMMY! The portions for the noodles were LARGE so come hungry :) *PLUS* they have a restroom for customers to use! Restaurant lands on 19th street so we had to park on the small streets and walk up, but it wasn't hard to find parking! Inside is a lot smaller than we thought but it wasn't too busy so we were able to get seated right away! They have big great windows of 19th Ave busy streets so that was fun to see!

Spacious seating and friendly staff. Food was excellent as well! The pork belly noodle soup was fantastic, zero complaints. They have extra chilis and chili oil on the side as well if you like an extra kick on top of the spice. The chicken wings were crispy and flavorful. The pigs ear were crunchy and delicious. We also ordered the pork belly over rice. We thought the pork belly was a bit dry (rice dish) but the pork belly in the soup dish was great!

Delicious noodles, efficient service, warm ambiance. Appreciate having two options for hot sauce. The braised pork belly was tasty and tender. The golden crispy pork was AMAZING.

Came back to Guilin Rice Noodles House after a few months and prices have unfortunately gone up since the last time I was here only about 2 months ago. Our party of 2 was seated almost immediately at 7:30pm on a Tuesday evening. The menu is pretty straightforward, with different combinations of proteins with the guilin rice noodles (GRN) with different combinations of protein, noodles with soup, or rice plates, with some side dishes. There are condiments of spicy chili sauce, chili oil, and white vinegar. The chili is spicier than you would expect, so start with a little and make sure to use the vinegar to balance the spice! Everyone gets complimentary tea as well. C1. House Special GRN ($17.50): this is a lot of noodles and usually enough for two meals for me, with a generous serving of proteins, including crispy skin pork, tendon, and more. There's a minimal amount of pickled vegetable and peanuts in this as well, and the simple savory soup on the side is perfect for a little relief from the spice if you add chili to your noodles. The GRN are very elastic and chewy, which makes for a fun eating experience. A11. Spicy and Sour Chicken Feet ($10.95) this was not too spicy or sour, but somewhat sweet, which was unexpected. Definitely enough to share between 3-4 people if everyone is also getting noodles. Also comes with some pickled banana peppers (can be quite spicy), celery, and a lemon slice. Overall, GRN is still a good value and a delicious meal, but with the higher prices may not be as much of a go to everyday meal as it was previously. Still excited for the next time I can come back for some spicy and sour noodles!

This place feels like a hidden gem. Came across it after playing some pickleball nearby and was craving some noodles. Definitely hit the spot. The crispy pork was oh so crispy and the food came out really fast too. I don't think I've ever had noodles like this before and was very pleasantly surprised. Price is good too so can't complain. Service is quick and the restaurant is pretty casual. Will definitely come back if I'm in the area.

My new favorite noodle spot in SF! The golden crispy pork is OUT OF THIS WORLD - the skin is so crispy and crunchy, and the meat is the perfect combo of fatty and lean. The dry noodles comes with a side of clear broth, and sauce on the bottom. I also really like the vinegar, chili oil and chili paste they have on each table so you can add to your own taste. Oh my god I'm still thinking about the crispy pork. The staff here are super friendly, I wanted to order a side of the pickled vegetable but she just ended up giving me extra

I drive past this place all the time and serendipitously decided to stop by this place after playing pickleball down the street. We were presently surprised the by the food and the affordable price. We ordered 4 bowls of noodles and 3 of us ordered the House GRN and my vegan sister opted for the vegetable GRN bowl. - House GRN: came with basically all the meats and a side of soup. I love that the dish included the crispy skin pork amongst different cuts of meat because it gave the dish such a nice crunchy texture. The noodles were nicely spiced and you follow each noodle bite with a slurp of soup. At the end, you pour the soup in the noodles to finish off the bowl. This hit the spot :) - vegetable GRN: this came with the same noodles, but in veggie broth and oddly had quail eggs which she gave us. Overall, each bowl cost about $18 WITH tax and tips which is pretty affordable considering how expensive food is nowadays. VERDICT: Would definitely return :)
