Guerrero Hill Market is the rock star of convenience stores. You walk in to hear a friendly greeting, every surface is sparkling clean and the array of grocery items, impressive. This store features a very large selection of vegetarian and vegan items from Amy's Organic and Califia (delicious-looking avocado butter with sea salt and dairy-free cream).Carniwhores like me aren't forgotten with a selection of charcuterie from dry salami, prosciutto, smoked salmon and Applegate herbed turkey plus a very large cheese spread good enough to serve your marvelous self or your friends.Guerrero Hill Market has an absolutely enormous selection of beer, wine and liquor to keep things lively in The Mission. Staples like paper towels and laundry detergent, all represented. I seem to remember they had some produce by the front register (note to check that next time).Whether you live in the neighborhood or are coming off the freeway to cut through The Mission, this store is definitely worth a stop. Waxing rhapsodic over a convenience store? Well, they deserve the praise.

Great customer service! I just moved to the neighborhood and my friends said that this was the best neighborhood store and I have to agree. I'm not much of a drinker, but it has a big alcohol selection and food a snack for last minute shopping. Eggs, bread, milk and toilet paper. I couldn't find Diet Dr. Pepper and asked if they could get it and it was there in store the next day.The Best People in the world!

The family here are wonderful. They have a very good selection of foods for a "corner store". And liquor.

Great selection of beer here. They had a case of Moonlight Brewing's Death & Taxes. I only used to be able to get that on top at a bar. At least I know this corner store will remain open because it's been here since forever. I think it changed owners though since I don't see that huge rubber band ball anymore. They're pretty dog friendly too as the guy at the register gave a treat to my dog when I brought him along.

A cool little store you'll find around the corner. It doesn't stand out like most corner stores but has a nice community feel to it. I think that only local people use it. They have a large selection of Harbo gummy candies. Nice selection of wine behind the counter, with lottery. The staff there are friendly and helpful. I see them talking to their regulars many times, very welcoming. Of course, it won't have everything, but just enough.

They have everything I need: Ben and Jerrys, GT kombucha, and coconut water. Since they renovated several months back it's a lot cleaner and nicer! Credit card minimum $5

Guerrero Hill Market is a cute little corner store with a huge liquor selection. I was on a mission with a friend and of mine and a friend of hers who was looking for a particular California-based spirit to bring home as a gift. Off to GHM we went after searching several other small shops in the area. The store is bright and clean and packs an impressive amount of goods into a small space. Their liquor department rivals the selection at some larger stores and will more than likely have any common item you'd need with a host of specialty finds in between. Prices seemed average for the area, and the gentleman working the counter was nice and held the bottle for us during the time it took from when we called to confirm they had any in stock and walked over after unsuccessful attempts elsewhere. If you need some quick items and don't want to make a full grocery run, check out Guerrero Hill!

This is the BEST market! Chris (owner) has become a friend over the years, he always remembers your last exchange. Chris will also strive to provide any products not currently on his shelves if you ask. There is a great and unique selection of snacks, cooking essentials, frozen/ready meals, and a wide array of beverages. All his staff are incredibly kind. I have been in SF for 5 years this is the market I always choose to give business to. Thank you Chris!

I have lived in SF since 1995. As far as corner stores go this one is the pinnacle. It doesn't hold itself out as an expensive Whole Foods replacement, but it is a step up from a mere convenience store. It's like a mini BevMo, Safeway, and Trader Joe's got together and said "let's sell our best stuff" in one place. You can find almost anything here. Rarely I need to go somewhere else to find something. The liquor part is ridiculous. Prices are of course more than Costco but at the same time surprisingly not crazy. If and when I can only walk a block which is the distance away I would really not need anywhere else. One time I needed whole cloves to jam into a Christmas Ham. Did they have em? Damn right. Wanna bake a cake? Sure. Weird spice or international food or candy? Check. Bottle of Bank Note for $20? Hell yes! It's fundamental, local, special, and perfect. 10 stars. The only area for improvement in my opinion would be a tad more fresh produce, yet I still buy apples, onions and avos here. But hey I'm quibbling.
