I ordered the Cebuchon package for New Years which included a half tray of pancit bihon, 30 fried lumpia and macaroni salad. I requested a pick up time of 5 pm. I totally forgot that lumpia was included, I almost fried some before I left the house. When I got there, the Cebuchon felt cold, obviously cooked way earlier. I think mine was the last order since they were closing at 6 pm.When I got home, the Cebuchon didn't feel crispy on the ends, I had to put it in the oven. The lumpias were cold and no longer crispy as well. The macaroni salad was too sweet and creamy. The pancit was good though and packed fully on half a tray.I had the end of the Cebuchon and the skin felt hard and the meat dry and stringy. But the next day when I had leftovers, I tried the middle part and it was tender and the skin okay. Way too much food for 6 people, my family packed generous portions to go.Next time, I'll order the Cebuchon for a much larger party.

I know there are mixed reviews on here but for what we got to go - the chicken bbq skewers, paksiw na lechon and ampalya they were all solid and well-made in the Filipino tradition. We got the small side sizes and 4 skewers and it came out to $30 which is a little expensive but they packed the sides full and it fed 3 people easily (rice separate). The employees were fast at taking and packing our order and since this is set up more like a to-go counter there's only a few small tables in the food court area it's in. Super casual and also inside the Seafood City Market.

After a day of running errands, family decided to stop by Grill City for a quick lunch. The Filipino food here is so good! the Pompano fish, Pork liempo and Squid were all grilled perfectly delicious! The soup dishes were a great portion. We enjoyed our visit. The staff is very nice, helpful and patient as we figure what we want since there's so many mouth watering choices! Indoor seating only. Lots of tables available. It's located at the food court of Seafood City grocery store, there's other food places as well to choose from. Sinigang was super Sarap =)

My Dad lives in Daly City and he knows every nook and cranny around town. This place was active with lots of movement. As my eyes grew big looking at all the amazing food, I noticed the line moved quickly. My dad comes all the time so I used him as a reference on what to order. I felt like I was from out town and flew in to try the cuisine or at least a tourist. The chicken screwers were delicious and so tasty. My Dad wanted to treat me for lunch, I was happy to take some home! This place is the bomb!

We saw a worker use the bathroom with gloves on. He never took it off and did not wash his hands. He went straight to the kitchen after using the bathroom. Poor safety food handling and working on reporting this to San Mateo county.

This located within the grocery store - Seafood City.Perfect location when you are doing a grocery run around meal time and you are getting hungry.Order and Service is similar to Panda Express, except it is definitely a lot slower than I expected. Everything was made and ready to grab but I somehow waited 10-15 mins waiting for the line to move. I only tried the chicken skewer with sauce and I think the flavor was pretty good. The only downside is that it was already at room temperature or slight cold which is not what I expected

Don't expect too much from a turo-turo (Filipino fast food) inside Seafood City. I came here on an early Saturday evening to buy some ulam (entrees) to go. The ambiance is a typical food court stand with steam trays of various Filipino entrees. I'm giving an additional star for the food because I like their tender sweet chicken barbecue on a stick. I usually get their 4+1 barbecue deal when I crave for it. Their ulam is usually between a hit or miss. I don't recommend their pancit (especially palabok) because it's usually dry or over stirred. However, I do like their grilled seafood (tilapia, squid, pompano) because their seafood is grilled and marinated with diced tomatoes and onions. I am also a fan of their laing because it is consistently creamy, not too salty and perfectly paired with steamed rice. Service was hella slow despite only having 4 staff on duty and four other folks behind me. It's partly because the group of friends ahead of me ordered 1 halo-halo but the staff mistakenly heard them say 4 halo-halo. I'm sorry, but I tried Grill City's halo halo before and is not that great. It is because it lacks ingredients including preserved fruit and ube halaya. The group could have bought halo halo with more complete ingredients, across the parking lot at Chowking. They also use subpar quality of evaporated milk (generic Pamana store brand that is not even close to Carnation or Black & White). Please note, I am not throwing shade but I am giving constructive criticism to the staff and managers at Grill City. I nearly waited in line for 10 minutes until I was able to place my order. My order was "already staring at me" yet I could not place my order immediately due to lack of courtesy from the staff on duty. That day, I only ordered two items: 4+1 chicken barbecue deal and 1 grilled tilapia. I honestly don't understand why the staff couldn't tell us "please wait a few minutes. We will assist you shortly." Or in Filipino, "Sandali lang po. Aasikasuhin po namin kayo mamayang konti." To Seafood City's Grill City management at South SF, please re-evaluate your service when it comes to addressing an unexpected rush of customers & be more courteous to customers when you are experiencing service shortages.
