Who won eat chicken from Costco 699 chicken sandwich from that place they charge you $19 for a sandwich when the chickens been sitting down for weeks and their refrigerator

This place has changed so much FOR THE BETTER since new management took over a while back. The store is now clean, well-lit, and well organized. They offer a wide selection of regular items that a corner store might carry such as convenience items (soaps, canned goods), as well as some fresh fruit and vegetables, and a very large selection of drinks, snacks, and a really fantastic deli sandwich menu. My go-to here is the Momma's Boy sandwich

Everyone seems to love this place now that it's under new management...agree that the last owners had issues with their son Sam. He wasn't well.Sandwiches are great and they have everything you need from a corner store, but my only complaint would be the new guy that's behind the register is always on the phone talking loudly and laughing. He never says hello or even acknowledges you. I thought at first it was a fluke but every time I go in there it's the same scene. I just feel this is rude and it makes me want to go elsewhere. All you need to do is say hello.

Clean organized market. Delicious sandwiches. Although sandwiches are quite pricey they are high in quality and I usually eat half for lunch and save the other half for dinner

Friendly service, great sandwiches. Tried a breakfast egg sandwich and an Italian mix (without mustard, thank you!), both were made to order, fresh and quality ingredients. The new ownership is a significant upgrade, the have a great selection of pantry items and produce.

Under new management and awesome! The sandwiches are epic and service is great.Definitely recommend stopping in.

Great sandwiches! Lots of turkey and yummy additions, I recommend the Dutch Crunch roll.Definitely will order here again!

(I very rarely do yelp ratings but...) If I could give these guys 10 stars to balance out the (completely warranted) negative ratings of the past, I would!I live 2 blocks away and always wanted Green Street Market to be a decent establishment but the old ownership/staff were abhorrent (offensive, unhelpful, unreliable). I avoided having to go here for anything unless I was desperate. The new team is 180 degrees the opposite. They are friendly, helpful, and they make delicious sandwiches (of which, I now eat too many of!). They have completely turned this place around. If you agree, I implore them to show them some love on Yelp! (at time of writing review) 2.5 stars is NOT representative of the current state of this establishment!

Best sandwiches ever, great sub deli style find in SF - what a hidden gem, highly recommend! Also great alcohol selection!

Overall excellent. Small but accommodating with a surprisingly large inventory. And the owner and personnel are incredibly nice and will go out of their way to get a product for you if it is not on their shelves.A special employee is Mo who works in the evenings he is very personal, caring, and effective and supplying all of one's need for sustenance, and friendship.I hardly recommend the Green St market and Mo in particular in the evenings!I am very glad I live only one block away from this oasis of food and friendship and the cow Hollow neighborhood.
