I liked this restaurant! We were hungry halfway through our visit at sf moma and weren't sure whether to eat at the cafe or here. The menu looked interesting so we decided on this, and it was great! We were able to share the items so the price ended up not being too bad - I think if we got our own it would've been too pricey for my liking. The chicken pot pie was incredibly hot and I burned my tongue but it tasted really good. The vegan chili was delicious and had great flavors. The interior of the restaurant was super cute and a nice decor vibe! Service was great too, friendly staff and the food was brought out SUPER quick.

It's been years since Gayle and I have visited the SF MOMA. And here we were a few days ago on a excursion to experience the Amy Sherald: American Sublime exhibition. After a deep dive there, it was time for Lunch at the in house restaurant - Grace. We both a agreed afterwards is that the burger/fries combo that others were having looked amazing. Our own choices were fine as I went for the Surf Mac & Cheese (torchietti pasta, cheddar, Gruyère, butter-braised Dungeness crab, and Ritz cracker crumble), while Gayle had the French Onion Soup (caramelized onions, cream sherry-infused veal broth, toasty baguette, comté) and bread. Both were "rich" choices which was maybe a little too much comfort food.I had a nice glass of lemonade, while Gayle chose wine. Seating was pleasant, as was the counter and food delivery service. The visible kitchen area was busy and our fellow diners were also having a nice time and outing in this well lit casual ambiance.

Had lunch at Grace this past Thursday. You order at the cash register near the entrance and then find your own seat. We had the fried chicken bucket with mac and cheese, collard greens, deviled eggs and a gigantic burrata salad. Everything was really good except the fried chicken. The chicken was nicely fried and crispy, but the chicken itself was totally overcooked. It appeared to me that the chicken was parboiled first which is probably why the chicken looked okay before they breaded and fried it. The chicken meat had a sort of liver-like consistency. Otherwise, I would have given a much higher score to Grace.

Contrary to popular belief, this restaurant is accessible from the sidewalk so no, you don't need a ticket to the museum or even go into the museum to dine here.We decided to eat here for lunch and so glad we did!First, yes, this place is gorgeous and so pretty. The vibe checks out.The service is very friendly! They were really sweet and kind. Always had a smile and cleared plated quickly. The Caesar salad was great! The chicken pot pie needed salt but it tasted warm and cozy. The kids pasta is a hard pass. It was so incredibly bland. The drinks were cool and delicious. I would come back for happy hour for sure!

This place recently changed its concept--it used to be a restaurant but has now adopted more of a canteen-style approach. You order at the counter and then wait for your food at the table. I found this change disappointing, as there are already several canteen-style spots at MoMA, and Grace was the only full-service restaurant. That said, they still serve coffee with great artistry!

Located in the San Francisco MOMA, this beautiful space served up some delightfully interesting cocktail and the BEST chicken pot pie. The pie was sooo puffy. It looked like a hot air balloon. I saw another review for the enchantress cocktail and was curious to try it. It wasn't listed on the menu during lunch but our server was able to have the bartender serve up the flavor blaster. They use a pink hand held smoke bubble gun to make the enchantress bubble dome.

Stopped in for a snack after visiting SFMOMA and it was the perfect nosh. The weather has been unseasonably warm so we didn't want a big lunch but knew we needed to get something to drink and some protein. We shared an order of deviled eggs and each had a drink. The eggs were excellent and the service didn't change at all when they knew we weren't ordering a full meal. I would definitely like to go back and explore more of their menu.

Dined here yesterday for lunch as part of our museum ticket package. We bought the Kusama + Lunch tickets which seemed like a great deal, the regular Kusama tickets were $60/each and the Kusama + Lunch tickets were $100/each. There weren't details as to what exactly the dining experience would be like, but after seeing the high reviews for Grace on Yelp and looking over their latest menu, I was in!Right as we walked into Grace at our reservation time, we immediately noticed how beautiful the restaurant design is. The ambiance is really calm and luxurious in a minimalist way and not a pretentious way. We were seated by the host almost immediately and we noticed that the restaurant seemed to be sectioned into two halves, one half for regular diners and one half for museum package-deal diners. On our table were two menus listing the first and second course options in which there were three for each to choose from. 2/3 of the first course options were clearly marked as gluten free and just 1/3 of the second course options were gluten free. The backside of the menus had some cocktails and teas which were not included in the prepaid price but could be ordered for an additional cost.We ordered The Enchantress cocktail and a gin and tonic from their full bar and both chose the Beet Salad as our first course. For our second course, we chose their Chicken Pot Pie and their soba noodle soup as the gluten free option. The drinks came first and The Enchantress was in a beautiful two-toned cocktail glass. Our waitress had a pink toy gun on the tray as well as a small bowl of milky white liquid that she dipped the tip of the gun in and then proceeded to shoot the top of The Enchantress with. A large bubble formed on the top of the cocktail and it was an amazing surprise! Once I went to drink it, the bubble popped and smoke dissipated into another magnificent show. The cocktail tasted incredible (sweet, fruity, and citrusy fresh) and I knew I would be ordering a second. The gin and tonic was also good. The Beet Salad was equally beautiful with dark leafy greens, chèvre cheese with chives, and an interestingly sweet and crunchy mystery ingredient. Our second courses arrived and again the presentation of the Chicken Pot Pie was stunning and impressive. The outer pie crust formed a golden dome atop the bowl of creamy chicken soup with vegetables like mushrooms and carrots and some sprigs of rosemary stuck out the middle. The soba noodle soup was full of mushrooms and squash and came with a side of chili paste and soy sauce. Both dishes were tasty and while the chicken pot pie could've used a bit more salt in my opinion, the soba noodle soup was a tad bit too salty in my husband's opinion. We still ate everything and enjoyed it very much! The portion sizes were all generous especially given the price we prepaid (approx. $40/each) for this level of dining. At the end of the meal we were offered the choice to order coffee and/or dessert in which my husband ordered a hot mocha which was pretty big and delicious. We'd love to dine here again while visiting the MOMA and try their regular menu items.

Came here for the Yayaoi Kusama $100 lunch experience. U come to the museum and exhibit first then head to the lunch and hour later. U can go earlier but might have to wait for a table. The exhibit itself is surprisingly only 5 mins but u can enjoy the rest of the exhibits in the museum afterwards. Once seated they give u a special menu where u choose one from each section. I got to try the baby beets salad and the salmon tartare and the chicken pot pie and the salmon brioche. I really enjoyed the baby beets salad and the salmon tartare was delicious as well. The presentation was impeccable! I liked the chicken pot pie , presentation was beautiful as well, i was curious what the soba would have been like! I saw many others order it as well. The saom brioche was delicious, nice thin crispy buttery bread on nicely cooked salmon. I got a pink drink with a bubble on top and it was delicious and strong! I enjoyed the experience overall.

On Wednesday I visited Grace at SFMOMA for the first time and I really loved it! I would definitely come back again. I took advantage of the current Yayoi Kusama Lunch Dinning Experience on this visit for $100. This included my special 11am ticket to see her infinity rooms in the museum, regular ticket, and a 2 course meal at Grace. I additionally decided to purchase a cocktail and a dessert since I was really enjoying this restaurant. This restaurant is very pretty and aesthetically pleasing with tasty food to match the aesthetics! The staff was also very friendly and welcoming, my server Corewas lovely. My first course in the Yayoi Kusama lunch was the Salmon Tartare with smoked barrel soy, avocado, arare, crème fraîche, lemon grass smoke. It was very tasty, the salmon was fresh, the smoked barrel soy added both a nice ambiance as you popped it but also a nice smoky flavor. I loved the touch of the edible flowers too as a garnish. For my second course included in the Yayoi Kusama lunch I got the Chicken Pot Pie with braised chicken, cremini mushrooms, heirloom carrots, golden potatoes, pearl onions, celery, pastry top. The rosemary sticking out the top of it was a beautiful touch. This honestly is probably the best chicken pot pie I've had thus far in my life. The nice flaky and buttery pie paired with the hot soup on the inside came together beautifully. The touch of sea salt on top was great too and added to the flavor. For my cocktail I opted to go with the "Pom Pom" pornograndto-infused codigo rosa tequila, chareau aloe, lime, agave for $16. (Not included in the Yayoi Kusama lunch) It was a tasty Tequila cocktail that I'd drink again, I do wish there was a little bit less ice but otherwise was great! Loved the fresh pomegranate seeds added on top. Lastly for dessert I decided to go for the Milk Tea Crème Brûlée, earl grey custard, boba & a meyer lemon tuile for $12. The milk tea boba and crème brûlée lover in me just had to order this! This was a fantastic crème brûlée, I really enjoyed it. There didn't really seem to be any milk tea but maybe that was part of the bottom mixed in. There was sadly only 5 boba balls in it so it was more of a crème brûlée then anything else. The boba in it was good though! If you order it I would just expect a crème brûlée with a few boba balls in it. I would definitely order this one again! Overall this was a great experience and restaurant, I absolutely would visit again in the future with friends. The portions were generous and I walked away very full. If you can take advantage of the Yayoi lunch definitely do it! It had included the tip for that part of the meal in it as well which was nice. I also decided to become a member to SFMoMA which gets you a discount at all their restaurants including Grace. They were able to to apply my $40 portion of the ticket to my membership. (The other $60 was basically the meal at Grace). So I will definitely be back!
