Celebrated my kid's third birthday here, and it was great! Loved having indoor options for a winter birthday. Good thing, too, because it was pretty cold and started to sprinkle a bit.The party room was the perfect size, and the kids loved the arcade. Everyone got to leave with cool prizes and get some of that pent-up toddler energy out.There was a struggle with the computer to get all the cards loaded for the arcade, but the staff was super calm, collected, and got everything done as quick as they could. Highly recommend!

Golden Tee has never failed to keep my kids entertained.They even point out the castle every time we drive by on the streets.There are two 18-hole courses, and with young kids, we usually opt for the easier one. And it's plenty to keep them busy. From moving doors to big hills, it's a pretty challenging course for them.One time, my 3-year-old threw a tantrum because he didn't want to leave. The rest of the day was difficult, but his message was clear:Golden Tee was a hit with the kids... and we'll need to come back.

Very challenging yet engaging courses, very spacious, paint job on the buildings and obstacles are nice and nice palm trees. The miniature greens are well maintained. But best of all, they have more than one fountain! Every decent miniature golf course NEEDS to have a fountain! If it ain't got no fountain, it ain't miniature golf!! and if you lose a ball in the water hazards (with fancy fountains) or into the streets of Castro Valley, they give you one for free! ( well they should...). Bathrooms could be better maintained but it lets you do what you need to do so not much to complain there. Definitely a family friendly place! Bring the whole family! Including your baby sister in her little Chinese outfit (remember that Muey?!).

I came here on a Saturday morning with my husband and had a blast. We bought two golf and 25 point arcade vouchers for $14.99 each. We started with golf and there was a good amount of people outside playing when we started. They have two courses you can choose from and we decided to play the newer one. It took us around 1 hour and had a blast. There was a bench at each station to sit and put your stuff down while you play. Once finished, we headed inside with our 25 point voucher and played around 3-4 arcade games. It was a great cheap way to spend a few hours on a saturday. The staff were also very nice and the golf course and arcade were neat and clean.

I was pleasantly surprised by how clean and well kept this mini golf is. Well maintained, freshly painted, and all around clean. We played 18 holes and it was $16 a person. If you wanted to play additional round or the other course it was additional $5. The arcade was a little stuffy and didn't have the most pleasant smell. We opted out of playing in there. Over a lot of family fun.

So much fun! Extra fun for kids who have read the Mac B, Kid Spy books by Mac Barnett as he mentions Golden Tee in his books. They have an arcade, an area for parties and two pretty classic 18 hole mini golf courses. Lots of fun, will definitely be back.

Had a really fun time here. The grounds are beautiful. It was super crowded though. We came on the weekend. It was hard to golf peacefully because you had people hovering and waiting for their turn.

Great place to take the kids to pass time especially on a nice sunny day! It's outdoor so plan accordingly Don't park next to the course!! I recommend parking deeper in the lot so the golf balls don't fly out and hit your car. There's a gate but the only block the bottom of the gate from the golf balls from coming through but there are kids (including my own) that hit the ball above and through the lot. You have an option of picking I think it's 13 or 18 holes. I paid $50 for 3 kids for 13 holes. The kids were able to pick their own color balls which they liked.We went a few days after it had rained so all the holes in each course had nasty water in it so every time it made it in the hole,you would have to grab your ball out of the watery hole. It's also a trip/slip hazard because the grass is all muddy and when you have kids that hit off course it can be dangerous. I took a star away because majority of the games in the arcade wasn't working it all said "attendance assistant required". It happened after I swiped my card so we took frequent trips to the front so they can credit our card since we were unable to play but it took our credits. Which was annoying. And the staff was looking all lost. Thankfully the Asian girl helped her and was nice enough to help and actually did something. We also saw some birthday parties! So you can have your kids birthday here.

The 4 party guideline isn't enforced so if you get stuck behind a large group, skip them and go back to that hole later.
