Local family owned grocery store fighting its way against the behemoths Safeway and Whole Foods across the way. Great selection of teas, pita breads, fruits, meat market, Asian ingredients, prestige ice creams like Mcconnell's, Jeni's, and Alec's. All curated well with humble display. Shopping here feels truly local, like Bi-Rite without the hype and without the markup.Located right at Church and Market Streets, and Duboce N muni stop. Really close to Duboce Park so you can easily grab a drink and snacks for a picnic.

My favorite place to shop for meats and fish. Everything is fresh and looks great. The store owners are friendly and true neighborhood experience all around. True, for this kind of small business things are a little pricey, but when you're getting good products, it shouldn't matter and i don't find it overpriced like Whole Foods or Molly stones. I'm happy to support this neighborhood business and recommend you do too.

They finally coughed up the refund after I called them a few times and emailed Cosmic Bliss a few times (they're lame, too).

Great little grocery store. Lots of options. Good for anything organic, Asian, meats. A good alternative to Safeway and Wholefoods.

Love this place! They have a solid selection, including organic produce, some Asian groceries that are hard to find elsewhere in the neighborhood, and homemade grab-and-go meals. It's always clean, and the family who owns the place is really friendly. Love to come here and support local.Note that there's a $10 minimum for card purchases.

This is like some quasi-Whole Foods. I have come here at times to see what is offered. I have gotten lemonade, Indian tasty bites, and maybe some snacks. I don't bother too much with this store. Today I got some interesting apple sauce and a nitro choco-coffee. It's run by Chinese and has been in business 35 years they said. It's never very busy, but it's still in business.

Omg this is my new favorite grocery store! My neighbor recommended this place, as the closer stores to us (Safeway and Wholefoods) now always have a long line out the door due to shelter in place. Gosh, I will still come here after SIP. They have absolutely everything from keto snacks, to Chinese sausages, to ready made daily fresh foods like sandwiches and pies, to corn husks. For a local mom and pop market, they even have an in-house butcher!! Now I won't have to drive to Richmond or Japantown for basic Asian ingredients anymore (esp important as I am tired of the fake "international" stuff at whole foods and Safeway).Funny story, the first time I went, I totally didn't realize I forgot my wallet at home till checkout time. Thankfully they take Apple Pay!! Unfortunately, my Apple Pay only has an AMEX, which they do not take. Welllp, must be my lucky day, because a witness saw the cashier tell me that they don't take AMEX, she offered to pay for me and have me Venmo her!! That's a lot of trust, as I had close to $200 worth of grocery on me (this place is also a little pricey, but so worth it). Saved my day and made my first experience that much more epic.

Great alternative to Whole Foods and Safeway, which are always crowded and have long lines and often many items out of stock these days. The stock is more similar to Whole Foods - lots of organic, natural, healthy food. Also, it's family owned.

Well, ain't this a purty place right off the J-Line on Church?Yes, yes...I know I'd be a lot healthier if I went organic and stopped drowning myself with pesticides. But I was raised in the suburbs...I don't know any better. How was I to know that a Hot Pocket was not a natural food? But I may have to reconsider now that I've shopped at this spanking new organic foods store.I've been to Rainbow Grocery many times, but it does bug me how they don't have meat there. Well, this place does, actually a pretty big meat counter, and all sorts of packaged foods that look good even to a chemically-infested joe like me. I didn't know they were connected with Golden Produce down the block since they look nothing alike.I just may have to take the J and start a new diet regimen...eat sprouts, have wheat germ instead of Rice Chex, drink soy instead of dairy. Yeah right...

I came here looking for dinner last night. I only had about twenty minutes to spare, so I figured I probably shouldn't walk a mile to get some food and walk all the way back (beware the crazies of San Francisco at night- they will want to hold your hand, talk to you, ask you for money, punch you, etc.). Came here and browsed around for a bit in the back of the store and found THE MOST DELICIOUS BISCUITS EVER!MARIA BERTA BISCUITS FROM SPAIN FOR $0.89 EACH!!! WAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!It was rather surprising, as I thought it would end up being at least two dollars. Nope! Cheap and delicious! (:I also got a premade sandwich that was pretty decent. It had organic whole wheat bread, some cheese, and strange vegetarian meat. They offer tons of organic food, a wide selection of ice cream (Ben n Jerry's, everybody!), meats, baked goods, and everything you could ever want in a grocery store. The butcher peoples(?) are really nice, I was walking around scanning the meats and I had four people smile and greet me, wow!I wish this place weren't so darn expensive ($5 for a pint of Ben n Jerry's=sadface), but it's San Francisco. There was also no line, so I quickly checked out and happily ate my sandwich next door.By the way, those biscuits ARE delicious. I am jamming them into my mouth as I speak/write.
