Go Fish Poke Bar

My friend and I walked by this place when we were exploring downtown and decided to try it for lunch. Ordering took a little bit because there was only one person working the front and making the bowls.I went with the regular (2 salmon and 1 scallop) with half sushi rice and half mixed greens. I picked Spicy Togarashi Mayo for my sauce. The bowl was pretty good. Nothing crazy but nothing bad. The fish tasted fresh and nice. There isn't much variety with the toppings but they have all the usuals.

All of the fish in my poke bowl was super fishy smelling/tasting, and NOT in a good way. The salmon had tendons (so it was inedible) and was turning gray on one end. The ahi signature poke was mushy, grainy, and tasted as if it was fresh a week before I got it, or had been frozen to the point of disintegrating. They forgot the chips for our nachos, and forgot the sauce on my bowl (which I am thankful for now, because I may not have tasted the rotting fish through the sauce and could have ended up sick. This place is up the street from my house in RWC and I was a regular in their storefront and also have been ordering delivery since they opened. My last few orders show that they have been sliding downhill in quality of food and service. Unfortunately I wont be ordering in or picking up from then again.

Dec 23 702 pm. Quite tasty very fresh and solid good food I got the large 5 fish bowl and musubi . The server named THIN excellent customer service smiling and helpful. The other server Tusan, the brunette young girl this evening very cold, maybe the sashimi got to her, she needs to smile and be polite and friendly, but she wasn't... training needed lots of great potential here.

The poke was alright here, portions are definitely on the smaller side! I do, however, really like their scallops, which I have not had anywhere else! The service was all right, they were able to take our order pretty quick. The environment is quite small with limited seating.

Hidden spot but seemed very popular. They have some unique fish options I haven't seen before and they were delicious. I ordered a regular bowl with the signature poke mix and seared salmon scoops which were so flavorful. They have very little topping options compared to other poke places (no edamame :(( but otherwise their sauce selection is unique. They are also very generous with their masago portion!

So sad to write this review... Go Fish was my GO TO (we were at like 40+ "stamps"), but similar to other recent reviews, they really dropped the ball.Came in for lunch and ordered a regular bowl with various toppings. Brought it home excited to eat until I took that first bite... the rice was hard, cold, wet, and undercooked?? (I don't know if you can tell in the photo) I have never had rice like that before and it was so disappointing!! Also the fish was oddly mushy and the shrimp tasted fishy.On top of that I chose their spicy mayo and ponzu and that day it was oddly sweet? Overall just did not enjoy my bowl and they raised prices for, what it feels like, less food. Guess I need to find another poke spot :(

I got the I love Veggies bowl with a spam and tamago musubi. Flavor was decent but they forgot the seaweed salad in my bowl and I was definitely looking forward to eating it. Overall, fast service and pretty decent flavor for a quick lunch.

Go Fish Poke is my favorite poke chain in California. They never disappoint! The fish is always fresh and what sets them apart are the flavors they use. If you're not a fish fan, they also have a delicious miso short rib! I've never had an issue with service either. Everyone is always friendly and eager to answer any questions I may have! Definitely recommend!

First time visit. Got a regular (3 scoops). Not a whole lot of options for fish or toppings for that matter. In terms of portions, I've had better and more from other poke places. Flavor was good but nothing special. Service is like any poke stores. You tell them what you want to add and they make it. Not really room to criticize or compliment service lol.My biggest complain is the store decor. Wall is dirty and the paint is chipping at places. I probably would have enjoyed more had I taken mine to go.
